Add to that list the silly selfishness of the players. I was just pissed this morning.  .  .instead of passing the ball to another player in a much better position to score, they were all mostly being selfish. Without proper team work and co-ordination,watch us crash out hard!!

Na wa for Nigeria, With  the amount of chances they've lost in these group stages, it would take a miracle to secure the Gold medal, they need to reduce their selfish tendencies  because there is victory in teamwork

SELFISHNESS reigns supreme in this team

From Okoronkwo to Ogbuke to Anichebe down to Nsofor
I don't know if they are competing to outdo the other

I was disappointed in Osaze yesterday and totally at that.

Sums it all, i wonder if those strikers know what made the likes of Torres what they or are Nigerian players not interested in joining those big clubs?even with the  way Obasi is playing to gallery, the likes of Man U n Arsenal will never place their money on him

Business / Re: ATM Withdrawal Charges by tjadeba(m): 2:16pm On Jul 22, 2008
i felt like crying on sunday when i got to Intercontinental and the ATM notified me that i would be charged N50 for withdrawing with card i.e i operate a savings account with the bank, meeen its crazy!
dont these people know that its not only high income earners and students that save in these banks? To me, i regard all these as cheating,no lesser than OBT (419). cos they made us save with them and later came out with obnoxious policies.
What on earth are they trying to prove?we customers are at the receiving end now, afterall they do all sorts with our deposits and again they charge us for withdrawing.
I think i will start putting my money in my house cos i cant imagine this people reaping me off in the name of banking(i hear all other banks are going to follow suit as CBN has already given them the backing to start charging this obnoxious pay).think of it,if i withdraw 10 times in a month from my meagre savings, whats is going to be left?

Education / Re: Can My Lost Certificates Be Replaced By My Former University? by tjadeba(m): 5:34pm On Jun 13, 2008
It should be possible for a fee

go to your school to find out

I seriously doubt it!
No institution prints certificates twice, and beware of touts around WAEC that tell you it is possible.
Anyway, make your checks very well before you do anything

i doubt if the poster knows what a million is worth in reality.
most of this artistes he mentioned with thier millions can hardly afford to buy a brand new car of any type.
again, when people talk about how rich KC Presh are, i tell them if they really know what is written against their names in thier bank Account.I think they are mostly living the lives of showbiz personalties.

i shed real tears when i heard the news and it brings sadness into my heart.i have grown to love his songs right from my early years on earth when i first heard the song 'which way Nigeria', 'mother and child' till he started singing gospel and i fell in love with 'a kuku seese momo', death you are wicked!
Sports / Re: The Best Soccer Playing Brothers You Know by tjadeba(m): 12:00pm On May 26, 2008
i thot the title of the thread was BEST SOCCER PLAYING BROTHERS and not SOCCER PLAYING BROTHERS,

Now errbody wants to show they know brothers that play soccer. Like the crappy Sodje brothers. So i can even mention my next door neighbour and his brother who play "monkey post" on our street abi??

Anywayz best soccer playing brothers that i have seen would be the Laudrup brothers hands down. The De Boer brothers of Holland too come close in terms of quality of their displays.

But presently i'd have to say the best are the Toure brothers hands down

thats the essence of the post.or rather i should put it like this, who is your favourite football playing brothers(retired or still active)?

I want to know if you really need to send age declaration document to the VAC(Bristish embassy?) Because there is no place stated that it should sent for application.

Sports / The Best Soccer Playing Brothers You Know by tjadeba(m): 4:04pm On May 15, 2008
i remember,
Frank & Ronald Do Boer
Brian & Michael Laudrup
Phil & Gary Neville
and nearer home,

Yahaya & Kolo Toure
Mustapha Hadji & his junior brother

These are brothers that really got thier places in thier national teams on merit, but in the case of Nigeria,am really dobtful.i beleive most of them got the place based on the influence of the elder brother.they(the junior ones) all fizzled out before one could echo Jack Robinson. take the case of,

Segun & Wole Odegbami
Sunday & Ugochukwu Oliseh
Mutiu & Muyiwa Adepoju
Tijani & Haruna babangida
Nwankwo & the Junior Kanu
Emmanuel & the junior Amuneke
Wilson Oruma & his brothers

Romance / Re: Why Do Nigerian Girls Have Protruding Bellies? by tjadeba(m): 3:12pm On May 08, 2008
Seriously, this issue gives me a lot of concern in that about five of my pal's girlfriend have this protuding belly. This girls arent really what you will term as being fat. What baffles me again is the fact that most of these girls are the so-called Nigerian sophisticated girls that i beleive should be conscious about the way they look.what i think is the diet, because Nigerian women of yore didnt suffer this.i mean it may be the mixture of akpu, fufu, eba.amala and tanatalizer and TFC's hotdog and hamburger or maybe they are becoming lazier because our ladies of those days were very very hardworking,u know they go farming with thier husbands. or mabye what
@dee02 said:
They eat too much FUFU, OKPA, AKAMU and AKPU!!

It is a shame and my last trip home was marred by protuding bellies all over the place

Laziness, too much greed and lack of motivation to exercise is to blame to be honest

Gone are them days that guys were serial-eaters, nowadays it is the ladies!

Glory be to God
