True word. Her legacy will not stand any historical scrutiny no matter how white it will be washed in the coming days. I think the mystique of our ancient taboos related to death and fear of karma is what motivates most of the omashes here even though they know the truth as well.

I will rather reserve my sympathy for the downtrodden.

the 2 words i have been looking for are: HOPELESS COWARDS.
so, the only way we can fight back in nigeria is to wait for the wives of our bad leaders to die?
it's  completely absurd and a clear indication why this country remains on the floor. if this is our plans to fight bad or corrupt leaders in nigeria, i'm afraid and very sorry to let you people know that we have a very long way to go.
U havent said a thing. Stop juggling between words and let clarity be your watchword when u wanna enlighten people.

babangida's wife is dying, but sanni abacha's son is about to become the next governor of kano, another saraki is about to claim another top position in kwara, furthermore, one of babangida's children is also looking to claim another top position in abuja; so what difference does it make that maryam is dying? why are we here celebrating? and what exactly are we celebrating?
na wa
ure here castigating those on the offensive and yet ure raising dusts about the newly found status of their cronies
are you for real or you just dont know when not to say nothing?

we need to stop thinking backwards, roll up our sleeves and find a better method to move forward. rejoicing that another human beings (good or bad) is fighting for her life is definitely not the way.
just so you know; celebrating or mouring the dead has got nothing to do with nation building or the development of a state. An average Nigerian has at least the right to pour invectives on whosoever they think has benefitted from defrauding them. If your point is for us to respect the dead, then the living should remember not to misbehave knowing fully well, death is inevitable

but
one thing is certain: God is great, he knows today and tomorrow, and he isn't a nigerian. therefore, there is a light at the end of the tunnel for maryam babangida.
? lost here

i pray for maryam's speedy recovery

Poor Busta, I should have warned you!

You could have been better off arguing with a 5-year old in your own family.
Naijaking, did you type this?

hmm, you're a proper ignoramus and i wouldnt wanna show you how dumb u sounded with that post

All you had to do was ask Sagamite about his classic use of a car in "ending the discussing". Since you had no clue, i'll appeal to Saga to come back just once to pep u up.

kenya and mozambique are super powers of world football, hmmm, thats a new one

Anyways, what did you expect, for them to roll over and die?
what would you have done better?

Then you mention "capello", well, even he had a lack lustre game against brazil last weekend.
And please lets talk about coaches that we could replace him with,
& please don't start with siasia grin

Hmmm being pessimistic as usual, a ball hasn't kicked and for reason

"ill be damned if Amodu knows what to do when the chips are down in the mundial"

come give it up, the guy has qualified us to the world cup twice!!!
if that isnt an attribute of a world class coach, then what is?
oh, Kenny
u didnt get the joke

u were the one whos giving credits to Amodu for not losing to Kenya and Mozambique and i added a bit of humour by calling them super powers like Brasil. If you didnt get the joke, then the point is, kenya and Mozambique are nobody in footie circle

We didnt lose cos of the the quality of opposition. If we were in cameroon, Egpyt and CIVs group, would the Super Eagles have qualified?
NO

Amodu is an apprentice when it comes to coaching; if we want a world class coach, they abound. a lot of them are jobless and are looking for where to pitch thier tent

Zico, Ramos and co readily comes to mind
we can if we wan to
Amodu should be sacked this week.
He has done a decent job by taking the Super Eagles to the world cup but the NFA should take over from here.
Amodu has no technical/tactical nous and our GAMEPLAY at best is like watching a Principal cup match between secondary school teams.

The NFF should move swiftly and hire a foreign manager.
ose padi mi
Sports › Re: WCQ: Kenya vs Nigeria - (2-3) by tkb417(m): 3:13pm On Nov 16, 2009
All of a sudden, the super eagles can do no wrong
how many people thought they would make it sef,
ah its true failure has no friends,

amodu should stay, he didnt lose a single match in the whole qualifiers
and you who are clamouring for a world class coach?
please give us names,
even france & portugal have "world class" coaches
and they might not even qualify for the world cup
maybe ur TV doesnt use electricity like ours

its not about not losing to Mozambique and Kenya (who are super powers in world football like Brasil), but its about the qaulity of our game against the so called super powers (Kenya and Mozambique)

if we are to go by that standard alone, then we shld be ready for the worst in SA
take a look at England 3 years back, the same set of players that were playing then are still the ones playing now; what has changed?
the mentality to win brought about by a world class coach- Capello

we have the resources (players) to play but ill be damned if Amodu knows what to do when the chips are down in the mundial
If its Amodu, then i bet we are just goin to fill the spaces when other countries like Ghana and CIV are scheming to enter semis

una never jam

If public schools suck so much, how come most of our leaders, both past and present were products of public schools, how d you also explain the fact that most of our intellectuals, scientists, artists etc, went to public schools. How many of our profs or captains of industries went to any high brow primary or secondary schools?
u were asleep when you posted this

how many private schools were there when our past leaders were going to school?

and hey, the point is, the standard has fallen in thos schools

The KCs, QCs, Unity schools, NMS and some other military schools, and some old secondary schools like christ school Ado, Abeokuta Grammar school, GCI, Baptist Boiz High Abeokuta and maybe the secondary schools owned by some reputable UNIs used to be the bomb

but now, i doubt if u can send ur kid to any of those

Abeg free DK from this matter. we are talking world cup quality here u are calling cosafa cup!! grin

Again fletcher had been consistently fouling for no reason. he wasnt even breaking advantageous chelsea play. he was jsut foulgin for the heck of it. throwing in heavy footed challenges at chelsea's right back positions. which kind of footballer does dat. funnily he never gets carded. The ref was always going to make that call, he went in heavy, no card alrite, but it was a dumb challenge of which he didnt even win the ball. what the point of tackling when you cant reverse possession. That is an ability Fletcher very much lacks and in my opinion will not be getting any time soon.
i cant remember the tackles ure talking about

Fletcher as at the last time have been at the receiving end of 2 major wrong calls that have affected the lad

~against Arsenal in the UCL
~the last game against Chelsea

If what Fletcher does on the field makes him crappy, then ill prefer UTD invest more in such players

Right now, he's not just better, he shits on him!!! Forget last season Vidic since the embarrasment at OT he's not been the same. QED!!! lets not even get started on Ferdinand

Sauron, Darren 'Lawn mower' Fletcher is only in the man U team to foul people. I cant count the number of scummies that have boasted abt this. Guess what after repeatedly fouling all over the pitch on sunday he finally daftly gives away the one right in front of the penalty box that leads to the goal. How very 'reasonabale'.

Please produce those facts and figures because right here on dis Nl i posted chalkboard to show how Diaby, the much abused Diaby was shitting on Fletchers performance game in game out. there was a particular game fletcher made only 2 succesful tackles. 2!!!! and sauron wants to be hailing him. 2 tackles.
If Fletcher is in a team to foul people, what does Masherano, Gattuso, makalele and co do in their teams?

and did u just say Verma is better than Vida?
lol. cos hes had 12 good games for Arsenal (ive added the bad games hes had), how are you better than Dayo that feels Evans is better than Verma
haha, this is interesting.

Tkb, Use your simple deductive reasoning.

Evans excelled against the best striker in EPL Drogba

Vermalean failed against Adebayor who many Gayyners called a failure

I am sure you believe Fasuba is better than Usain Bolt or Joe Lasisi is better than Tyson?
i have told you the error behind your reasoning. (Post hoc), ure still yaking rubbish deductions

according to ur faulty dedcutive reasoning
Wigan beat Chelsea
UTD beat Wigan
by ur submission, UTD should beat Chelsea- isnt that how ur reasoning works
