ok
ive decided not to leave u this way.

what do u know about the last FIFA elections cos u were quick to say hes wiser than all of us put together cos he won elections? if its about winning elections, what about Mugabe?

so he who is older and has won two elections should automatically be wiser than you?
damn!!!

You need to read a lot more than ure doing cos ure just an illiterate!!!
Sports › Re: Sepp Blatter Is Daft! by tkb417(op): 5:49pm On Jul 14, 2008
@Somze
c'mon, u can be better than Blatter. must u be daft too?

what is disgraceful in calling a spade a spade? so if Blatter hosted the world cup means he should stop reasoning?
who is the bigger dunce between Somze and Blatter?

someone who accused players for trying to run away from contracts and now suddenly changes tune to a player should run away from contracts whenever they are tired of it? why is he contradicting himself? he forgot his brains in the refrigerator or what?

and who says you cant call someone richer than u names?
now this is where u are daft!!!

about getting a life, probably i should tell u that i have got a better life than ur lineage put together so u probably might need to step up ur life.
Always write ur tots down in the diary b4 u post next time, oya now run and sin no more

PS: its not about Ronaldo, its about a certain FIFA President who speaks with his anus. Or u werent alive when he said female soccer will be the bomb if they wear see thorugh vests?

@Akin Alabi
why explain these things? little things are hard for these people to understand. Those that function with a IQ of a log on this blog are too many. you cant deal with all of them

@All
i dont know what you guys mean by SAF spending so much and Berba. . .Berba is 27 and the hunter u guys are talking about is 25. whats the difference 2 years?

Berba has been proven to be a goal scorer in the EPL, to me hunter will be a gamble. Berba will intimidate any opposition. hes the kind of striker defenders will treat with respect and believe me, hes gonna get 30 goals!!!!

@hannibal
now u know its Berba not Hunter. SAF knows what is good for United. Hunter may not strike it. I saw ajax game on saturday and my friend, a Berba will be a better option to me (personal opinion)

@Cristalz
was it Abedi Pele that told Ronaldo to say or the Brazilian Pele?
tot it was the latter

Hi Timmfikk
i tried to understand ur mail. . .i get your point. all u said isnt different from what wormedup had said. i'll advise u to wait for Fash's scorecard b4 u start hauling stones at him.

The legislators are there to kick him out if hes not doing fine. Just give him the benefit of doubt and lets hope he will impress you after 4 years. Its too early to start doling out criticisms.

I hope all is well. how ur weekend?

have a great day!

Just read this

It was only in February that the Swiss spoke out against any attempt to railroad clubs into selling players against their will.

Yet it seems a relatively low-profile case involving Andy Webster being allowed to leave Hearts for Wigan did not trigger the same stance Blatter is now adopting over Ronaldo's proposed move to Real Madrid.

Webster was able to swap Hearts for the JJB Stadium by buying out the remaining year of his contract after a verdict was reached by the Court of Arbitration of Sport (CAS), upholding his right to do it.

At the time, Blatter commented: "The decision which CAS took on January 30th is very damaging to football and a victory for those players and their agents who are toying with the idea of rescinding their contracts before they have been fulfilled.

"This unfortunate decision undermines the principle of contract stability as agreed with the European Commission in 2001 as part of the new transfer regulations which restored order to the transfer system. This has been deemed less important than the short-term interest of the player involved."

Those comments are clearly at odds with Blatter's stated belief that clubs should not hold players against their will, which offered Ronaldo the platform to speak his mind yet again.

Can this man be consistent for once? hes surely daft!!!

Sports › Re: ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE. by tkb417(m): 3:54pm On Jul 11, 2008
First off
this ur research no get meaning cos their is no problem anywhere. Its flawed from the outset cos u feel supporting foreign clubs is a problem.

Lemme help u

1) The youths in Nigeria are not addicted but are opportuned to follow live EPL games and they've grown to like what they see week in week out. How that is a prob. i dunno

2) Personalities in each club tend to sway peoples support. I love SAF and i started supporting UTD cos of him. if he leaves, i'll still be supporting the club cos ive grown to love what the club represent. Success!!! They are used to winning and i cant support a losing team

3)Effects on the youths? i dunno what ure talking about o. maybe ure trying to address the current mad rush to support clubs in 9ja. Yeah, the proliferation of internet, sattelite TV have made it cheap for all to see. Now its no more exclusive for the rich, everyone can now watch footie whereevr its been played all over the world.
effects? some touts now support clubs and whenever a high profile game is being played, some touts tend to unleash terror on unsuspecting rival club supporters. in short, football followership in Nigeria is tending towards violence

4) Violence by hoodlums. just like the Chelski fans in 9ja. it used to be the arsenal supporters in isale eko

5) there are no problems. dont go to viewing centers to watch. stay in ur house to avoid unnecessary slap from the street urchins

are u ok?

@Hannibal
lmao ure not serious. so i no be OT faithful because i aint holding a season ticket?
don't worry, we shall rock OT together this season.

back to Berba/Hunter
ive never doubted Hunter as a goalscorer, hes the new Van Basten. The guy is good and solid. hes scored quite a number of goals with the scissors kick and to me, hes a budding star.

But Berba is the kind of player we need in the UCL. experience matters when we play teams like AC, Barca and Real. A player like Berba can take it upon himself to finish any opposition. Put him in any of the top four and his hidden potentials will be seen by all.

whats wrong with Berbas attitude? are u saying CR7, Rooney, RIO and co don't have attitude probs? I'm sure SAF can cut all his excesses. he needs someone like Fergie as a manager to bring out his best.

what i really want is either of the 3 being touted
Berba, Hunter and Benzema. i think Benzema is out of it because that Aulas guy can make life difficult for any would be buyer.
so for me, Hunter or Berba will be fine.

i dont understand what u mean by the current format has dilluted the competition
nyways, ill prefer 2 or 3 per country.

Clubs like Liverpool and AC tht plays to come 4th in the league to concentrate more on the UCL will buckle up when they know there are only 2 slots available.

but come to think of it, if the competition is open to only 1 or 2 clubs per country, do you honestly think clubs like Arsenal will ever make it? i just dey think aloud o. make nobody curse me o

@Dayokanu
Dont be giving us links. . .we have read all these things weeks back

Petrucci wasnt a professional player for ROMA and he just signed his first professional contract with United.
he was an amateur just like Rossi b4 we signed him. Nothing is unethical about that.

Get the drift, Ronaldo leaving UTD isnt right nor wrong. UTD has a point by saying he still has a valid contract while Ronaldo too can prove his case by saying hes no more happy playing for UTD. The whole saga can be settled if REAL respects UTDs stance and approach the whole thing in a mild and subtle manner

what we are talking about is a FIFA president coming out openly to say Ronaldo is a slave for just signing a lucrative deal with UTD and can leave if another club can offer more. Just to let you know that UEFA has been complaining of how powerful players are and they also the need to checkmeate the spiralling wages of these players.
What Blatter has done is certainly at loggerheads with what UEFA is trying to curb

someone really needs to checkmate the excesses of that guy.
he was the same guy that once said female soccer will thrive more if the gurls start wearing more revealing jersies!!!
the guy should be sacked!!!

Pure and undiluted BALONEY!!!

I haven’t decided whether you are obtuse, naive or just plain thick, yet!!

And if you are actually gullible enough to believe LAG and IFE can be compared - which, i believe is a misnomer in terms -then you are also deluded.

If you ever want to grasp the opportunity to see brilliant and well rounded people whose skill, grace, talent and genius simply leaves your plodders trailing in their wake, then IFE is the place to be.

Hahahahaha !!!!!!! I love it !!!!!!! There’s only one OAU ……. and that certainly isn’t in Ibadan, Abuja or Lagos, for that matter. Have a nice, green day full of envy.
