Putting on make up while driving |
Right here........is my fave, love the melody and the beat. |
Yessss was racking my brain trying to remember Ebele's name. I thought it was just me who missed Iyke. Last I heard he's was with Cool FM PH. Gone are those days jo, today's OAPS try but they haven't met up. |
Yeah, I was telling my hubby the same thing just yesterday, we may soon tire of her like we did of Keke and D1, she should start grooming her proteges. By the way where is her dance school? |
Iyke the G (Cool FM) Although he wasn't your typical Cool FM fone speaking presenter, but he was really nice, always, always took your music requests and the music he chose for his Sunday evening show was just simply 'heavenly' a mix of soft rock and pop (Ego of Inspiration FM reminds me of him - her choice of music is on point, she plays music we all forgot about). I did everything to make sure I didn't miss his show. Then he always played signature songs at the start and end of his shows so each time I hear those songs I remember him. Dare Art-Alade (Cool FM) - Dare was really cool, had interesting topics/opinions and angles on topics and a voice to die for. Lakeside (Cool FM) - he was really funny and did great voice impressions. Paula (Rythm FM) - Before Dan Foster captured Gospel Music audiences on Sunday mornings there was Paula, she played the coolest, hippest Christian music. She also had a relationship show and her accent was very unique. Tope Brown (Rythm FM) - I'm not sure but I think I heard he passed. He had a relationship show on weekday evenings, I think he was also called Brown Sugar. I remember in boarding school we would tune in with a rechargeable lamp/radio intended for studying after lights out. I think his appeal was that he was giving women relationship advise from a man's perspective, it was a late show but we never missed it. I remember moving to campus (2 years later) and when walking down the corridors of Newest Hall (in Unilag) the hall would almost echo, because all radios were tuned to his show. |
Now it has been substantiated, but what's going to happen nothing ![]() Young people are dropping dead daily from cardiac and BP ailments that are going unchecked. Emergency Medical assistance does not exist in Nigeria, pray you make it to the hospital alive as you may be stuck in traffic. We don't even have the time to live, we're just rushing around waking up early, sitting in traffic, dying under pressure at work, barely eating, closing late, sitting in traffic hoping not to get robbed or killed by a stray bullet or falling planes, getting home to power outrage and the vicious cycle continues. All in a 'good' day! Which way Nigeria? |
Drop Dead Diva, Scandal, The Client List |
let's all remember Mr President's 'non'-performance come 2015 and not find an excuse to manage him for another 4 years. any other candidate is desirable right now. |
i find that odd, after NYSC most people would be focussed on finding a job, not marriage , but what do i know |
RIP Prof, you were one of the better lecturers in computer science department and a true gentleman. |
Funmi's the best of the lot. She's very down to earth, compassionate, full of life and a pleasure to watch. Mo on the other hand has got it going on, but seems to like the sound of her own voice and is always trying to finish off the sentences of her guests, especially when they're not very fluent in English. If i remember correctly, when she interviewed Adesuwa Onyenokwe on her (Mo's) show, Mo did most of the talking and Adesuwa appeared to be the host. Adesuwa's really good too. I don't care much for Agatha |
I just saw these on Youtube, funny ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1BYCEMd0mg&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=n2SOab2JiVs |
omg, this is all so funny ROTLMAO I dont know where to start. blank: . Abi o, they can't touchchaircover: ![]() It's kinda cute to see our men tripping over " |
Interesting insights, thanks for confirming this observation. @davidylan does that mean if she wears leggings out with you its ok, since u'll be there to police your 'exclusive show' @jennykadry my sista, i feel ur pain, my husband is even cool, you should see my dad who's over 60 giving my mum a hard time, no be small thing. |
My father did it to my mother and now my husband to me. I noticed that men are very testy about undrawn curtains during the day and especially at night when their wives are undressed. As women, we honestly think that we are covered at that there's no chance of any one getting a show, but the reactions of the men in my life have led me to believe otherwise. When curtains are drawn and the inner blinds are down I believe that there's no chance that anyone can see me (during the day) and if perchance at night a curtain is open (only bungalows surround our building and we live on the first floor), my husband is still not at ease. Another female friend confirmed that her husband reacts this way as well. I was wondering whether it's because men know that many men are/were peeping thumbs and they believe that their kind will take advantage of any opportunity to sneak a peek. Any similar experiences and to our nairaland men, what is your take? |
In addition to our verbal and online protests, is there a way we can pressure our legislators, house of rep members, lga chairmen, labour union to get involved. Can we petition them somehow. I don't see how a stakeholders forum was held and yet many are averse to this injustice. Beware, this is not a Lekki problem, if we let them succeed here, you'll have tolls dpringing up all over the place. |
I always wondered when they were going to legalize 'agberoism' and spread their tentacles to all and sundry. Apparently that day has come. Lekki-Epe today and the rest of Lagos tomorrow (for all u pundits knocking down pple for standing up for their rights for once). What does it matter if iT'Ss done only when it affects them, the point is that it gets done. There are protests/strikes all the time, teachers, doctors, students, who's gonna do it if not the affected parties. Unfortunately the fighting spirit of Nigerians has been crushed by the brutallity of the military regime. Whatever embers remain should be fanned and encouraged till change comes!!!!!! |
I'm not sure the girl said she was a witch for Jesus, her confidence made me believe she meant something else (she wishes for Jesus), who knows. She was kneeling at the alter, an act of surrender, again I wonder how a witch can operate where the Spirit of God is. But only God knows understands what happened, Bishop slapping her, that surprised me, seemed like a reflex I feel he could've reprimanded her without being physical.God help us all, we all have our failings. Let try not to judge and draw conclusions |
I saw this comment on Sahara reporters: Tinubu: tunde go and increase Lasu fees and let toll fees payments start from lekki. NOW Fashola: my governor emeritu why now? Tinubu: becos 2015 is still far away. Remember i told you our people have short memory. So the earlier the better. Fashola: but, Tinubu: if u cant do it, your deputy will fashola: its done sir karl max:Thanks for pointing this out, the lawyer championing the case against LASG has asked them to toll the additional lane only if they need to "recoup"their so called investment. |
The toll is too expensive and placed at close intervals. Many commuters will pay at 6 tolls for a saloon car N120 each. Its double taxation targeted at Lekki-Epe residents and business owners.C'mon guys. I am so disappointed, we have been skrewed ova by brf. why is he re-instating the toll now? he's gotten his 2nd term and lga elections have been won and settled. why did he suspend commencement of tolling before? Now that he's gotten our votes, he's now silent. Unfeeling, Uncaring and Untouched by his people's sufferings and concerns. The least he could do is show up and address the people concerns, what a shame!!!! Now the shameless police force, who are more effective at pocketing money are attacking unarmed citizens. They never show up where they are needed most. Kudos to the bold Nigerians who have shown up to defend their rights. Viva la revolution!!!! |
CONGRATS SEUN N ALL THE BEST |
We are so corrupt we "worked" our way out of the list. We have legalized corruption here. |

I pass by Kirikiri prison virtually everyday, i recently noticed some renovations at the female prison, they are laying the ground/road leading upto the entrance with paving stones. When I saw this I began to suspect that Mrs Ibru was there or was on her way back. She may be serving her term, this is just my deduction o!!! |

, but what do i know
