Am a christian,.....we God belivers have not proven to be more moral than non God belivers.......

We kill and steal only to ask our God for forgivenes and repeat d same attrocity.

I think the basis for morality should be our conscience.....if we are about to do something,

will we feel guilty after doing the act

Will our conscience disturb us??

Most of us christians even use the bible to justify our immoral act......

THIS IS A SERMON I HEARD IN CHURCH YEARS AGO. I FELT I SHOULD SHARE IT.


Long time ago, there lived a wealthy king. This king was loved by the people because he ruled with love. He was known for one thing—he plans well. The king could spend days, months planning for events. If he were to make a journey, he would forecast the number of soldiers, palace guards,, horse, no of days as well as the food necessary for the trip..

He always went along side a famous entertainer. This entertainer amuses his hosts/guests by doing funny actions at times; he could hit his head on the wall, slap himself, act like a drunkard, etc to the delight of the crowd. Because of this, he was called a fool.
The king so much loved the entertainer that he ordered that a golden staff be made with the inscription the most foolish. He presented the golden staff to the entertainer and said.
TODAY I PRESENT YOU THIS STAFF FOR YOUR ROLE IN ENTERTAINING MY GUESTS AND HOST. YOU ARE REALLY THE MOST FOOLISH PERSON I HAVE EVER MET. WHEN NEXT YOU SEE ANY PERSON MORE FOOLISH THAN YOU ARE, GIVE THIS GOLDEN STAFF TO HIM.


Many years later, the king became very ill. He assembled the best physician from wide and near but no one could cure him. He knew he was going to die.

He assembled the royal family, friends and workers together. He started talking to them. He thanked the workers for their selfless service. He advised his son to lead with love and never to be autocratic leader.
He said,
VERY SOON, I WILL BE GOING FOR A VERY LONG JOURNEY. I WON’T COME BACK. A JOURNEY EVERY ONE MUST GO, A COMPULSORY JOURNEY........................

Before he could finish, he was interrupted by the entertainer who said.

The entertainer quickly ran to his room , came back with the golden staff and handed the staff over to king and said
