If you're new, read the first page of this thread.
Most schools will accept 2k, 3k, 4k pounds. Few accepts 1k.

Northumbria seems to be asking for IELTS. I am not doing that.

As a Nigerian there's nothing like IELTS if you have WAEC or NECO. You no check well.

I applied for the same course on 6th June. I think there's no hope on my side since you that applied May 10th is just receiving your offer now, when is it going to be my turn. I have till 31st July to pay my deposit for another school I got their offer so I'm going to miss Hull.

Apart from University of Hull, there's no other Uni that's less than 10k for a year course. But if your program is 2 years then you can try Northumbria, they allow students to just pay 9500 per year.

Maybe it's because you are going for PhD, Greenwich replied me within 2 weeks. University of Sussex, Northumbria, university of East London, University of East Angelia, responded a bit faster for Msc, i don't know about PhD.

Please when did you submit your application to University of Hull? I applied on 5th June and no reply yet.
Did you submit your reference at the time of application ? mine is showing reference not started.

My only issue been after payment of initial deposit. Will I be asked to pay another deposit while been issued cas or later on as the program progresses ?

After paying your deposit now, you won't pay any money until you get to UK during enrollment. Depending on the school, you will be asked to complete your payment to 50% of the tuition or 25%.

You can as well ask the school if they have payment options and choose the one that suits your pocket.

University of East London 7k deposit
Northumbria University but make that your reference is ready to reply their questionnaire. 2k deposit.
University of Sussex 2k deposit.

All the above schools responded to me within 2 weeks.

The whole picture of what I was saying is that a particular amount was frozen (the required amount) in my account. So, I had access to put and remove money but not the one frozen. The money that is frozen can't be withdrawn.

Note, the account was not frozen, just the required money that was.
