ikaboy: Hello Gurus! my appointment is for November 26th and my passport is to expire on the 7th June, 2014. I hope using the passport will fly?
That's no problem, your passport has more than 6months before it expires. All you need to do now is to go tidy up all your documents and get prepared for your interview, you can always renew you passport at the Nigerian Embassy in US.

Amefrica: Yea bro! smiley I sight you too. I can testify to their mind-blowing feedback too. Newfoundland all the way!

Hi, does anyone know the mode of tuition for UPEI and Memorial? Do I have to pay the school fees before I get the TRV?

Thanks loves!
I emailed the school within the week, I asked them this particular question and they informed me that all you need to pay prior to the release of your admission/acceptance letter is $100 application fee, they further explained to me that it is the requirement of the CDHC to determine how much deposit of your tuition you will pay.

lisadem: There are different States in the East with different costs of living. Be specific on the state even if you are gonna conceal your school name. However, i doubt if you will find a good apartment at that rate. your best bet is to be on the look out for a roommate so both of you can share the apartment rent and other utility bills - electricity, water, internet etc
What about accommodation in Virginia?

Phder: Seattle is not in New York, it's in Washington. Comparing New York to Washington is just like comparing Abuja to Lagos, lagos = Seattle. (that's the closest comparison). Your friend should put the weather into consideration, NY enjoys more sun than Seattle (it rains a lot).
You need extra "fifteenhundred" (1500USD) to live the same life style you live in Seattle in New York.
@Imperiouxx dragged me here. *un-follow thread*
My question is seattle in washington and virginia which is cheaper?

Hi everyone,

A friend of mine received I-20 from two schools, one in Seattle, NY and the other school in Virginia. Now, he is confused in choosing tho he prefers the school Seattle, NY but due expensive nature of NY he is now considering the other school.

Please I want to know which is cheaper, NY or Virginia?

Guys, Newfoundland is the place to be: cheap accomodation, cheapest tuition in whole of Canada, plenty of sea food, cold refreshing weather, oil rich region, nice people( most amazing ), party peole(downtown)...its countless.
Welcome to Newfoundland! Don't mind Dommakaveli...people like tupac always want a place like L.A.
pls what is the name of the school? wanna check it out!

meg1028: Thanks very much l will look for somebody with any of the two bank Mastercard and get back to you
Bro just walk into any branch of Zenith Bank near you with the dollar equivalent of the money you want to pay and extra $20 (service charge) tell the customer care that you want to buy their dollar prepaid buxz card (you choose either visa or mastercard). They will direct you on how to fill out the forms, you will get the card within 1hour, then call 012784444 or 012781740 to activate the card immediately and you are good to go. Pls remember to go with either ur international passport or drivers license.

I have my own and it works. I use it to do all my online payments.

Hello everyone,

Nice work you are doing here. I intend to apply to Memorial University for september 2014 admission. My worries are, i do not know the procedures at the Canadian Embassy and documents needed. Again, I am 25 years old will be 26 by May next year, would my age be a RED FLAG at Canadian Embassy because i'm opting for undergraduate studies?

Nalikedis: Please I want to ask concerning F1 visa application... Can I use a different sponsor from wat I submitted to school for I-20 issuance on my DS 160 form? since the name of sponsor didnt reflect on the I-20. Thank you.
Yes you can but remember the relationship between you and your sponsor is written on your I-20, so you ought to be careful especially when the VO asks you... who is sponsoring you?
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part5 by Tochium: 4:00am On Nov 03, 2013
Hello everyone, What should be my answer to the following question while filling my visa application (DS-160)?

Have you made specific traveling plans?

TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part5 by Tochium:
@Amefrica

Sorry for the delay.

You need to prepare well next time. You did not explain to the VO how studying in SMSU will enhance you aspiration, from the answer you gave the VO (becoming a minister) there is no how studying in America will contribute to it.

Wish u all the best next time.

F-1 students are not permitted to transfer from a private
school to a public school, and any F-1 students who violate
their status under this regulation will be inadmissible to the
U.S. for a period of 5 years.

Hi sis,

Please note that u will need some documents like employment letter and study leave approval letter which may be required at the embassy.

It is very important to say that u have been working since after ur NYSC because it will not just cover the 1yr gap but also be a
tie to Nigeria (that u will come bk after ur studies)

All the best!
