@livy2018 be careful with your medicals. There's no hurry about it. No one can predict CIC so you don't know when you'll get ITA. For instance, why was there no draw last week?
As you've been advised, medicals last for exactly one year and your COPR expires when your med expires. |

fizzile: Had my Bachelors btw 2005 to 2011 and a PGD between 2013 to 2015, then Masters 2016 to 2017. So while filling the express entry i have to include all of them and not just what i evaluated? Getting set to dive ooo.. cc: newmum0615, tojued I would advice you indicate only your masters while diving into the pool. Keep things as simple as possible for later. After ITA, when filling you application proper, you can all three under educational history, indicate those that weren't evaluated. You'll be asked to upload supporting docs for all of them (certs for others and certs + eca for masters). Alternately, since they're all within last ten years they can stay in personal history and only Masters (with which you're claiming points) stays in educational history. |

Please some questions for peers and seniors. How detailed did you go in your personal history? Did you add activities such as choir, church society (catholics will understand this) etc? Especially when it's a proper chorale group and not just a church choir or if you are very involved in the church society and have done a lot of Facebook posts on their activities. If you owned and operated registered businesses while employed, did you add them? Also how does one explain two full years of unemployment? Will oyinbo understand that in Nigeria it's common to jobhunt for 2-3 years after NYSC? Then, are you guys truthful about aliases? When they ask have you ever been known by any other name or alias, is there anyone who has ever put their social media alias (for instance nairaland moniker ) Peace y'all and wishing you a fruitful week ahead. |

fizzile: Hey guys, i am trying to feel my express entry form at the moment. Just a brief question. Since i evaluated just my MSc, do i have to include all my educational qualifications and dates on the profile or just the qualification for which i had the evaluation? Newmum0615, tojued I'm including both Bachelors and Masters because bachelors was over 10 years ago and so can't stay in personal history. I evaluated only masters. |

opella: Good morning house. My husband was in the pool for one year and since his points were not up to 420 he wasn't invited to apply.
I want to reapply as the principal applicant this time around, once my ECA and IELTS are ready.
Hope there won't be any problem with my decision, due to the fact that my husband was in the pool before? There won't be any problem. |

Ifeoma77: For Listening and reading, I used this site I love the site because it's a true simulation of exam conditions and the tests are timed. You also get detailed explanation for each answer at the end of the test so you'll understand why you failed the questions you failed. Going through the answer breakdown at the end of the tests made me understand the Reading questions far better than any other 'tips' I saw online. After several tests, I started hitting 9 consistently in Reading (and I got a 9 in Reading when I took the actual test in April). The same goes for the Listening section. The test answers are explained with both audio clips and a short transcript of the relevant section of the test. Dudujomi |

Mummychichi: Unfortunately it's not. Will be 37 on September 10. Another question is if I rewrite ielts (hopefully july 27) and get a higher score and I get ITA, will I need to submit all documents before my next birthday so my score doesn't drop? No. once you get ITA your score is locked in. You have 90 days post-ITA to submit your documents. |

luffyhaki: Sounds dodgy
Are you typing your own employment reference letter? Isn't everyone? Regardless of where you're working and whether they'll use your preferred template or not, I'll advise anyone to type up their letter themselves and attach a copy to your request for reference letter. Worst case scenario, they'll ignore your attachment. Best case scenario, lazy secretary or HR will simply do copy paste (or copy type), print and give oga to sign. No long tin. |
