On the contrary, network marketing is legit but it's not just for everyone.

Is there anything bad if that bag of rice dealer tells you that he will give you 1k for every buyer you refer to his shop and another N500 on anyone who buys through the first guy you introduced.

Its more or less like a scam scheme for the wise. been to their presentation and immediately detected the wash.
I won't call it a scam but the warning structure is not just sustainable.
InvestmentWhy Swiss Golden Nigeria Is Unrealistic And A Waste Of Money And Time. by Toks2008(op):
Well many people may not know but I am an E-commerce consultant and my job is to scrutinize businesses that are online oriented and tell people which is a sustainable one or not and just as I warned about MMM as not sustainable about a year ago, I am coming out this time to state the red flags in swiss golden Nigeria.

I will not bore you with stories and I wouldn't be writing this today if the admin of a certain wattsup group with number +234 706 258 5988 did not evict me simply because according to him,I am spoiling his business (whatever that means) but all I did was simply professional trying to point out the red flags in the business when he ought to be simply professional by explaining to me.

Now get this clear, I believe in network marketing and I am not calling swizz golden a scam but what I am simply pointing out is that the earning structure is very faulty, unrealistic and unstainable.

Now the business module insists that you MUST refer 2 people and in fact you will not progress if a cycle is not complete and it takes 7 people(You inclusive) to cycle and according to the structure, once you earn, you start another cycle with your downlines following you if they also cycle and this goes on and on and on.....but what many fail to understand is that for this to happen, everyone who registers MUST sign up 2 people meaning the matrix must be filled up for the system to be sustained...in other words, the downlines structure must be in this format. ..

You
2 downlines
4 downlines
One cycle

Now for your two downlines to cycle there will be need for continuity meaning

Your 2 downlines
4 downlines
8 downlines
your 2 downlines achieves a cycle

your 4 downlines of your immediate 2 will need

4 downlines
16 downlines
32 downlines
the 4 downlines above cycles.

Now here is the glitch....for you to make a second cycle, you will not be needing just 7 people but

you
2
people
4
8
16
32

Meaning you will need 64 people to register under you.

Now it is not the 62 that is the problem but the fact that everyone MUST sign up 2 people who MUST sign up another 2 in other to sustain the business.

Invariably it means the business must have an arithmetic progression of a multiple of 2...

2
4
8
16
32
64
128
256
512
1024
and on and on....

In my years as a consultant,I have never seen a matrix filled up meaning there is no way that arithmetic progression can be achieved which simply means the earning structure only gives room for the early starters which is also a red flag.

Some will say team work will ensure you get 2 downlines but no team work can sustain the matrix at a stage when it becomes so large.

I do believe that if the Admin of swizz golden Nigeria can go back to the drawing board and bring out a sustainable earning structure, the business might just stand the test of time.

A good earning structure of any network must not favor early starters but hard workers and must give room for participants to earn even if they only refer on person.

I want intelligent contributors to prove me wrong.

Thanks

Christianity and Islamic religions are scams.

There is no religion in heaven..it's Man made so whether you call yourself a Christian or Muslim, it is inconsequential cos in heaven there will neither be Muslims nor Christians but those whose name are written in the book of life....better put, those who have accepted Jesus as lord and saviour.

These are the people that will make heaven..*BELIEVERS IN CHRIST*

I love good muslins and i have lots of them as friends but If I were a Muslim I would gladly convert to Christianity just to excape the shame some crazy estreemists are bringing to the religion.
Islam is not and will never be a religion of peace cos how can a religion admonish it's faithful to kill infidels (unbelievers of Isam)
infact the Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with
nonbelievers for the sake of Islamic rule.
Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding. Muslims who do not join the fight are called 'hypocrites' and warned that Allah will send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter.
What a religion.SMH!
Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"
*No reasonable person would interpret this to mean a spiritual struggle. The targets of violence are " those who disbelieve "

Ironically the Quran even promised these terrorists virgins in heaven (number not stipulated) that those who fight in the way of Allah and are killed will be given a great reward. It goes on to stipulate that Muslims will be awarded with women in Islamic heaven. It even describes their physical attributes—large eyes (Q 56:22) and big, firm, round "swelling breasts" that are not inclined to sagging (Q 78:33). The Qur'an refers to these virgins as houri, companions of equal age, but the highly-flavored emphasis of their bodily characteristics, including their virginity,

This is greatest joke of all time.

Not that I'm quoting you for any long drama, but i want you to understand one thing. If someone who calls himself a Muslim, goes on a rampage killing people, that's him, that's not islam. He is not following the teachings of our Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). There is no place in the Holy Qur'an or hadith(saying, action or silent approval of the Holy Prophet Muhammad) that says killing innocent people in the name of jihad is allowed. That's just ridiculous. What I see is just some people with something seriously wrong with their brain killing innocent people. Just because they're Muslims (which I probably think they're not) doesn't mean what they did was according to the teachings of Islam.
You must be a bad Muslim cos you don't even know your teachings.

you guys are not getting what this girl is trying to point out,all she is saying is that women prefer to date rich guys, but with the prevalence of broke men,its a struggle for them to settle with broke men,its only natural,as a man you shouldnt be expecting your gf or wife to help u out financially only when you are in dire need,a man should strive to be as financially dominant as possible, this ensures a stable relationship, but when the man starts expecting a woman to handle things for him he looses credibility and respect.trust me its more fun when you have so much more and your woman depends on you totally,u will enjoy her so much, buh when shes shouldering some responsibilities she becomes fustrated even if she is rich, women want to be taken care of,mens goals should be to strive for financial success and marry or date a beautiful ,good woman, not to be seeking for working women
My brother you made lots of sense but for me...a working class lady all the way cos I can not come and go and die for any lady who will dump her bukata on me.

Even if I have all the money in the world I would rather prefer to set you up in a good business so that you can help yourself, your family and our family.

One thing I always say us that only broke ladies make it a big deal dating a broke guy.

Funmi let me hint you about something...

I'm not bragging but I have developed a strange phobia for Nigerian ladies expecially the educated ones and I will tell you why.

These ladies are availed the same opportunity as their male counterparts...we went through the same educational system and strangely enough the Labour market favors the females the more yet after stressing themselves to aquire a degree, they still come out looking for a financially comfortable guy to dump their life on....WHY?

I have vowed never to go near a jobless lady no matter how sweet looking you are...you must do something even if you make 1k a day or in the process of doing something worthwhile

Only a hopeless lady will say NO to a guy because he is broke because a reasonable goal getter will understand that a broke guy today can be rich tomorrow as long as he is smart and hardworking

One thing I expected the OP to write is about a broke leech of a guy who is not just broke but will be asking the lady for money. ..this is A BIG NO FIT ME.

Please ladies think.

In my opinion, a girl loving a broke guy is like a guy loving an ugly girl, it's tough.

Girls how do you cope in loving broke guys?
I will give you the last straw of advice..

WORK HARD AND BE FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT TO CATER FOR YOURSELF AND AT MOST TWO CHILDREN WITHOUT THE NEED OF A MAN AND GET A MAN TO MARRY FOR THE RIGHT REASON WITHOUT USING HIS FINANCIAL STATUS AS A CRITERION....ONLY THEN CAN YOU BE TRULY FULFILLED IN ANY UNION YOU FIND YOURSELF

BEING BROKE IS RELATIVE AND A BROKE GUY TODAY COULD BE RICH TOMORROW AND VISAVIS SO HINGING YOUR LOVE ON A MAN'S FINANCIAL STATUS IS THE DUMBEST THING ANY LADY CAN DO.

I agree with you 200% but you see...this is very subliminal and many people hardly realize this....Ladies have a subliminal influence in man's quest for wealth....

Just look at thus thread for instance
https://www.nairaland.com/3836851/girls-how-easy-it-totally

It's trending on front page and it just buttresses my assertion.

Greed is on everyone's DNA but it's our tolerance levels that differs.

My point is that our ladies have a great role to play in molding the life of the men in their lives

Do you know that Abdusalam Abubaker was greatly influenced by his wife to bring back democracy to Nigeria and she bluntly refused to live in Aso rock but stayed back in Lagos as Justice.

You all kept musconstruing me...my point is that a woman can either influence her man positively or negatively and majority of monetary crimes by men are geared towards pleasing a woman.

I will stop my argument at this junture.

Hypothetically I understand your stand view that a woman must not be blamed for the decision of a man to indulge in crime and I quite agree but I actually looked deeper and I can't state it better.

A lady bluntly responded here that she would rather date a yahoo guy than a broke guy and that is exactly the facts on ground

Mh point is that our ladies have lots of work to do in curbing the excesses of cyber crimes expecially in Nigeria because most guys involved usually spend this money on ladies.

But unfortunately this is near impossible because most ladies will always go with spenders.

Visible to who? The person making the money or to one busybody somewhere? What exactly does "visible" mean?

How does a millionaire online affiliate marketing expert explain the "visibility" of his source of income to idiotic busybodies who do not see him going to a particular office or shop everyday?

Bottom line is that there are a million and one modern ways of making millions of dollars without having a VISIBLE (i.e conventional) income source that every fool understands. And nobody owes the world an explanation about how he makes his money... Insofar as he has not been caught committing any crime.

I know someone right here in Nigeria who has made millions merely by providing relationship advice to a handful of rich white folks overseas - via the Internet. All sorts of possibilities exist if you use your initiative, and if you have some luck. I know because I'm a living witness.

If one's source of income is not visible to busybodies, that does not mean that his income is illegal. Prove that his money is rooted in a specific illegal activity or just mind your own business. I hate this typical Nigerian idea of "where do you work", as if the only legit source of money is from "visible" employment. People are so shallow-minded here.
You make sense expecially that "where do you work" part but I guess the guy you quoted was referring to legitimacy or a source you can defend if asked.

Smart people these days make more money than hard working 8 to 5 people but the archaic mindset of Nigerians still see you as jobless if you don't leave your house by 7 and cone back in the evening.

Work smart and stop stressing your life with hard work.

You may say why am I blaming the ladies but you will be amazed that 99.9% of yahoo guys spend a greater % of their illgotten wealth on ladies so if our ladies can learn to say yes to only guys who are legit I guess there will be a drastic reduction in the prevalence of yahoo boys in Nigeria but this I guess is almost impossible cos most ladies can sell their soul for money....this is why I don't pity any lady if these yahoo plus guys use them for rituals
