Often times Paul says that ...I advice...and even at that we are still meant to obey because its the same scriptures but the uptightedness of many pastors are leading people to hell.

These same pastors fornicated before they married but will now tell members to seal up sexual passion and they are not to even think of masturbation...how cruel..its like saying dont pee if you are pressed.

Tell anyone that Toks wrote that you should masturbate with peace of mind if your passion is driving you crazy...but if you have the grace to subdue it better.

Enough of all these hypocrisy.

Even common sense tells us some things that are unwholesome but common sense is not common.

Even when I was a hardnened sinner maturbation was so foreign to me and the very mention of it was abominable to me.

My own bible speaks clearly to me about such things as maturbation without calling it by that particular name. When the bible speaks against lust, uncleanness, inordinate behaviors, concupiscence, keeping my body which is the temple of God holy, integrity, dignity and such things I don't need anyone to tell me its addressing such dirty habits as maturbation and the rest.

You can go ahead and interprete your own Bible however suits you.

Why should a married couple engage in maturbation when the partner is absent. Isn't that unwholesome? Where is self control, temperance, honour, integrity, discipline in such act. Even animals don't go to such extremes. If you have an evil habit, deal with it and stop justifying it.

There is no other sexual activity sanctioned by God and supported by the scripture except that between a man and a woman and only in marriage. Anything outside this has nothing to do with God and is outright sin and ungodliness whether in marriage or outside marriage.

Show me from the scriptures where Abraham, Moses, Joshua, David, the holy prophets, the holy apostles of Christ engaged in such an unclean habit as maturbation.

The same method you use to justify maturbation is the same gays use to justify their ungodly shameful act.

Why? Because you fellows do not understand God and how holy He is. What it means that God is holy. What it means that God requires us to be holy as He is.

I know you'll still argue but I won't engage you further.

It is one thing to argue and another to discuss issues for the benefit of others to learn.

NEWS FLASH...i gave my life to christ 27years ago when some people reading this were not yet born.

Im fully grounded in christ with the full baptism of the holy ghost so please put to rest your erroneous belief of the new age thing cos im as old fashioned as you can think of.

Talking about making analysis over masturbation i must state clearly that i have never whanked in my life and yes sometimes as human i fantacize been single but you must understand that this discussion is not about both of us but for others to learn..

Sexual feeling is as normal as the feeling of tiredness,sleep,defecating and urinating.

Lets stop leading people to hell by making life hard for them.Lets say it as it is...if your passion is high please get married as Paul adviced and because of the economy situation people cant marry as fast as they want but this does not stop hard on from happening or a lady from getting Hot.

Please lets not allow hypochrisy to be the order of the day.If you are single and feeling Hot try to control it but if you can please jerk it off and be at peace rather than fall into actual fornication.

I must only warn that addiction to all form of habbits is the problem here so be careful not to get carried away..and get married to avoid burning with pasion.

I believe you termed uncleanliness to be masturbation right? ok i won't argue that with you but e both agree that self servicing was never mentioned as a clear sin except the adjourning circumstances as explained by what i wrote up there.

A lady who is married and her hubby is not around then she touyches herself sensuously thinking of her hubby in your own definition is a sin likewise a man that does that.

Sometimes we put ourselves more in bondage by our own reasoning because i still wonder why self servicing without porn inducement or illicit taught relate to uncleanliness because unclean acts are sinful acts.

In my opinion,iof the bible wants self servicing to be seen as sin we would have seen at least one verse that expresly addressed that but the silence of the Bible concerning it has given room for men to bring logic and philosophy to it and that is why the issue of self servicing will always be a complex issue to discuss.

Masturbation becomes a sin if you look at a lady lustfully while indulging in the act and it becomes lustful pleasure because when you watch pornographic films and magazines and you masturbate, you are lusting after the sexual figure you see just like lusting after the opposite sex.

But when you have a wet dream as adolescents do and wake up messed up or when you think about yourself just making out with an imaginary person you are not married to with no physical presence of the person or when you do it thinking about your spouse,is it a sin considering that all thee cases has to do with fluid emitted from the man or climaxing by the lady? This wil always be a subject of debate.

I love it when people argue intelligently and back it up with scriptures.

Now carefully read the scriptures i quoted and meticulously note the part that talks about the long hair of a woman is ghiven to her as a covering meaning a lady with a short hair can as well cover her head while one with long hair needs not cover it again...please read the passage once more.

13Judge for yourselves: is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him, [size=13pt]15but if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her? Honestly this is one thread i had always wished lalasticlala puts on front page so that people can learn the undiluted truth from the scriptures and ofcourse for people with contrary view to come up with good points freom the bible so thatw e all can learn.

Heresy is sending many people to hell and also not making many people to come to christ because some ladies said they would rather not be born again than stop wearing earings while some say if it is wearing of trousers that wil take them to hell then there is no use being born again.

Ok i believe you are not one of those who read Bible verses in isolation but will also combine other passages making reference to same topic..

Anyways here it is:

"I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes"

So lets see the passage reading verse 9 and 10 together

1 timothy 2 vs 9.

9.Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments, 10but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness.

Now to another passage in (1 Peter 3:3-5)

"Your adornment must not be merely external—braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses;but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God"

It is clear here that wearing of jewelries was never stated as a sin but women were advised not to make this a priority...

I spent years working hard and making something out of life for myself so why should i settle for a struggling man in a one bedroom apartment when as a single girl i was controlling 3 bedroom apartment.

Lets stop promoting this nonsense stereotypes that a girl has to drop all standards just to get married .

I dated a lot of mr prospects and trust me its not easy being with that category of men because a lot of them have enormous chips on their shoulder and just want to leech on you .

When i met my husband he was in between jobs and i made it clear to him that i would not date him until he got a job and till date he said that fact alone was one of the things he found appealing

mind you i was 35 at this time but i was not swayed by all the talk similar to what OP posted and i have no regrets for my decision at all .

Good but i will not allow advice any lady to follow your footstep cos she may regret it and you just probably killed the prospect in your man as explained above.

I can imagine dangotes gfriend way back giving him same condition you gave your man.

Job job job...no be small thing..abeg i will advice every lady to ask her man about his dreams and encourage him to follow it.

The only advice i give guys is that while pursuing your dreams you will naturally attract a woman who will stand by you and you dont have to drop your dream to get a job cos you want to marry a typical naija girl.

if your dream is to get a job please do and if not please dont ever give up that dream and as i wrote,you must get a lady who will flow with that dream.

Nigerian ladies are the most annoying when it comes to the issue of money and marriage.

A reasonable lady will understand that with about 100k she can start a life with a man without children or at most a child and they can build their life from there.

If a lady strugles to bring home 30k a month and the man strugles to bring home 40k,trust me they can manage that.

I dont know maybe its my background that makes me think this way but i believe millions of ladies in Nigeria are also from a humble background.

Jobs dont drop from heaven and if 3 out of ten guys are gainfully employed and ten ladies want a gainfully employed guy then it is only normal for the three employed guys to marry 3 out of these 10 ladies and share the remaining 7 among themselves as mistresses...this is why you see rich guys passing around myopic money monger ladies who would rather be with a rich boyfriend than get married to a hustler.

Jobs will come when it will and if it is that important then you go get one too...all the musicians we have no get job o but the hustled their way up,Dangote sef na huslter so our ladies should think because na hustlers go still employ that guy wey mut get job before they marry them.

Infact naija ladies are mostly responsible for the low enterprenural drive of our young men cos an average Nigerian lady would rather want her man to look for a job rather than starting his own business...too bad.
