@ Moderators, can you please consider this for the frontpage, because I believe there are lots of Nairalanders who will benefit from the debates, it has been the bane of our development and the real 'corruption' that had eaten into our economic fabrics for many many years; https://www.nairaland.com/1114278/civil-service-reforms-what-happened

Is this woman drunk or something? What is wrong with Nigerians for goodness sake, 38 years of nothingness from our Abokis in power left many things in state of disrepair, now Jonathan inherited a functionless Nigeia from Obj and Yar'Adua, he is trying his best to fix things (at least we've seen improvements in power, roads, educational institutions funding, youth empowerment, more women in politics, active-poverty elimination programmes, etc) I wonder how some folks reason as if that place is a very cool place, I challenge anyone here 'cursing at Jonathan' to mention one past leaders (dead or alive) who has done better than Jonathan within his short time (2 yrs) and let's compare and contrast haba as if to fix Nigeria will take just two years, allow this man to serve out his term before you judge! Many of us are sick in this country!

mystikal: Ahhh....Ibadan, that was one dirty town I visited sometime last year. Interesting night life though. Someone rightly said towns in the west bar lagos are too sleepy.

PH, Lawd have mercy. Apart from the night life and money around, this town has the ability to test my sanity. dodgy roads, unending traffic,

Calabar, comes alive in december. can be a ghost town in the other months. clean too

Uyo, lovely road networks, emerging nightlife and excellent relaxation options in Cinemas and parks

Abuja. I love this town

Lagos, nuff said

Owerri, schooled here once. fun town it used to be.
You cannot but love Abuja but you need MONEY on a good scale!

arbitrage: Such hyena must be alone for lion to kill it. Though smaller in size and uglier than other canivores, hyenas are the meanest of the big cats. I watched a documentary earlier this week on National Geo Wild as lions killed their prey and were eating. Then came the hyenas and took the prey from them. As the strongest of the lions felt annoyed, he ran into their midst to take the pray from them. You need to see the attack those hyenas gave the lion and he escaped for his life as he left the meat for them.

The next after that was a big tiger who just killed its prey and was dragging it to where it will eat. The relatively smaller sized hyenas pounds on him and he had to run from them while growling at them from distance.

Then the documentary came finally to a point where the commentator was saying that, the most ferocious lions and more ferocious tigers would kill their preys before eating them, but hyenas are the only ones that will eat their prey alive. Believe me, they started running in circle around a herd of buffaloes to confuse them and while they created the panic, they ran after and attacked one of the largest buffaloes in the herd, while the rest where escaping for their lives. The buffalo was so massive that they could not grip its neck or head to strangle like lions and tigers would do or a leopard would attempt. But while they gripped him from behind and legs and dragged him down so that he knelt down on four legs, the ever mean hyenas (with their usual fearful growling noise) started tearing and eating the buffalo alive. While his body and head were looking helpless and struggling, they ate him bit by bit to his intestines until he gave up the ghost. Then they continued the butchering. Before you say Jack Robinson, what they had left and were dragging along in a row was a long skeleton of the earlier buffalo.

Hyenas are mean and fearless of any lion or tiger. No other animals can dare lions and tigers but hyenas; not because they are stronger but I think it's their grouping - unity.
@ the bolded, we called them "Narrator" Commentators grace the football pitches and other sporting events, never mind we are all here to learn! cool

saxywale: Are hyenas members of the cat family?
never mind that was a blunder from him, Hyenas resemble a dog more than a cat, of course they have their own family, Hyaenidae, unlike cat (Felidae) and dog (Canidae) cool

nwachineke00: Ok I really hope so
Looking for the right man or woman may take you the next 100 years, I still insist, MONEY is the underlying factor why Marriage is being delayed on the part of guys. No married couple want to be a 'beggar' it is the greatest level of embarrassment you can get in a relationship, even your wife will be ashamed of that union!

nwachineke00: Please I need your sincere opinion(s) or reason(s) as to why most guys are afraid or drag their feet when it’s obvious they are “due” for marriage.
You may call it 'Phobia' but the underlying factor why guys don't put marriage as a top priority now is the condition of things around especially 'MONEY'! Believe me, money is the number one thing when it comes to marriage and every other things (love, care, a good-listener, patience with wife, and all that) follow! Marriage requires planning which requires worth waiting for patiently! cool
