@Topic: I find it interesting that snakes (or the python) receive(s) such a tolerable treatment up in that region, whereas it is normal to kill them and collect their sloughed skin in my area.
It is a common knowledge that where wild animals are shown love and not hunted down savagely they (no matter how fercious) tend to be docile although not in all cases but the possibilities of being docile are very high!

No matter how hard these Islamic Fundamentalists try to frustrate the government of Jonathan they with their sponsors shall fail woefully and come 2015 Jonathan will still emerge as the President if they like they can go to blazes! I think it is glaring enough for all to see that the future of Nigeria can no longer be entrusted into the hands of the core North!

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Vincente Del Bosque: Why He Might Be The All Time Best Football Manager! by tomakint(op): 5:31pm On Dec 05, 2012
Very unassuming, humble, focused and a pleasing personality to his players such are the words to describe a man who within three and half years (1999/2000 to 2002/2003) of taking charge of the most successful club in history, Real Madrid, won seven unforgettable trophies! The trophies include; two UEFA Champions Leagues in 2000 and 2002, two La Liga titles in 2001 and 2003, one European (UEFA) Super Cup in 2002, Intercontinental cup in 2002 and one Spanish Super Cup in 2001. Only Pep Guardiola, former coach of F.C Barcelona (2008/2009 to 2011/2012 season) can boast of a better record than Bosque within such a short period. He successfully managed 104 wins out of a possible 186 in his time as a coach of Real Madrid, it would be recalled that he achieved all these successes despite that he had no control over transfer policy, team selection and other aspects of club. What many have failed to realize is that this same man was already a “Bernabeu Legend” for winning five La Liga titles (then called league championships) and four Spanish cups (now Copa del Rey) as a player in the 1970s.

A known man of principle and a committed worker to the core. Despite being a great achiever within that short space of time with Real Madrid, he was shown the door on June 24, 2003 – just days after winning the club’s 29th La Liga title. For that power play on the part of the management (President Florentino Perez and General Manager Jorge Valdano), it took four years and eight managers for Madrid to win another title in 2007 under the Italian legend, Fabio Capello. Right now, Vincente Del Bosque remains the first and for now the only football manager in history to win a World Cup, European Championship and 2 Champions League (the peaks of football competitions) besides other trophies! He remains the first and only football manager in history to win his first 10 games as debut manager of a national team. One interesting thing about Del Bosque is that, he is not showing signs of fatigue even at 62, with many years ahead one can imagine what he still has to offer. Indeed, he is unique and these intimidating records will surely stand the test of time. Kudos to this “King of Football Managers”!

naturalwaves: Hahahahah, those who live by the sword die by the sword. This your point is gonna put you into trouble.lolz. You said he has become a clown? Very funny. Who is more of a clown? A single Artiste that has released about 3 average singles since he broke from a group or a 5 man team that cannot collectively release any song in the class of the one that was released while Dbanj was there. The 5 man team of course! In this case, 5 heads cannot even prove that they are better than 1 and you call the 1 a clown? That's a void argument. Try another one.

Well, there is no rule that states that Artistes must necessarily acknowledge their producers when being given awards for a song. Doing it is just for doing sake and not doing it does not necessarily imply that the Artiste is proud. It is a professional thing where everyone does what he or she is expected to do.

Moreover, I have seen Don Jazzy collect the best producer Award several times and he didn't acknowledge any Artiste too while receiving his award. Sentimental debates will do us no good.

BTW,how does your whole post affect the subject matter of this thread? tongue
Oh I nearly forgot, a Tuface is a titan compared to a D'banj, please let's compare Tuface to legends in Africa like our own Femi Kuti and the likes, I hope you got it right now my bro wink

I hope you don't mind if we dig down on this debate again my bro? I don’t need anyone (the press, especially Nigerian Press whom I considered most times are fond of celebrating mediocrities) to tell me how good a song is, at my age and based on my longtime (over 25 years) romance with beautiful songs (I mean real beautiful ones be it Nigerian and foreign ones) I can easily identify with real songs from real artiste! Now this is where I have problem with you folks (d’banj apologists)! At least, I can speak for myself here that I am not hating on his success, trust me he is doing very well for himself, for his fans and family but the truth be told he is not representing Africa, stop fooling yourself, he is merely representing himself! He is not opening any door for anyone I don’t know when you start familiarizing with anything music in Nigeria. Fela, King Sunny Ade, Majek Fashek and Femi Kuti will qualify to be the true ‘door opener’ for any Nigerian Acts, these legends were sought after during their times by great American Labels (from Arista, Polygram, Island, Motown, to Interscope Records) not them ‘chasing American Labels around’, these legends have done headlines collabo with great American superstars, these legends can handle one or more musical instruments well and dish out monster hits, these legends were known worldwide far afield to Eastern Europe! King Sunny Ade and Femi Kuti came close to getting 2 Grammy Awards nominations apiece at a time Grammy still has its flavor unlike now that Grammy has been rubbished, after a Kanye West will go upstage to grab microphone from a Taylor Swift because he felt a Beyonce should have been given the award – absolute show of shame! Trust me, I have heard the best of tunes, this may be too convoluted for you to understand but those who know what I am talking about will understand!

And this is the one who claims he is Africa’s finest (disturbingly arrogant to high heavens)! He has collections of monikers ranging from; koko-master, mensah, skibanj, eja nla, igwe, Mr Endowed, oyato (just one man). Indeed, D’banj is a perfect example of; ‘an empty drum makes the loudest noise’. After his hit single, ‘Oliver Twist’ produced by Don Jazzy before their break-up, he has managed to dish out three funny, nursery-rhymes; he called one ‘Sister Claro’, a song he featured in for his brother, Kay Switch and his own song, ‘Oyato’, we all know what happened to those songs and now 'Mr Bachelor' you and I know that's another crap from D'banj. I thought he said he is too good to be labeled an African artiste, but would rather preferred a new recognition, ‘International artiste’, indeed D’banj is delusional to think he had conquered Nigeria musically, let alone Africa not to mention going into the mainstream. I thought he said, he can churn out the best of beats from his staples, unfortunately he has been finally ‘Akpanised’ by Kanye West (a confirmed jackass, according to Barack Obama based on Kanye’s numerous stage bust ups during awards shows). D’banj is just running around for cheap publicity. That’s what you get for biting the ‘finger that once fed you’! Leave it or take it, he is gone musically!
Music/Radio › Re: Video: Asa - The Way I Feel by tomakint: 4:02pm On Dec 05, 2012
If I am not mistaken below are the lists of the top ten International Music Stars recognized in Africa by CNN in their order of preference as at December 2011, includes;
• Asa (Nigeria),
• K’naan (Somali),
• Nneka (Nigeria),
• Rocky Dawuni (Ghana),
• 2face (Nigeria),
• Amadaou et Mariam (Mali),
• Youssou N’ Dour (Senegal),
• Salif Keita (Mali),
• Ladysmith Black Mambazo (South Africa) and,
• Cesaria Evora (Cape Verde Islands).

In this era, a Tuface, a Femi Kuti, an Nneka and an Asa are clearly the leading lights when it comes to making the news in real music in the International arena. There is something unique about Asa that makes those who are 'matured musically' to just fall in love with her genre of music; she is a master of her own flow!

D'banj is yet to prove himself after Oliver Twist.Na only that one una dey fling for our faces everytime in the name of star, give me something new abeg.
Btw @ the guy who said I don't know anything, my first post already stated that D'banj is currently bigger, maybe you skipped it, read well before posting, aite?
Once again you did it again, hit the nail on the head. I have tried to stay away from this thread but you just brought me in to it. D'banj is simply a 'clown'! No more hit after 'oliver twist' that was mastered and mixed by the Don himself, Don Jazzy! I remembered on the other thread you said something like, 'if he wins something on his oliver twist he will not acknowledge Don Jazzy', guess what, he did just that! You are a good mind reader gurl!!!

I am not a Catholic, and I don't subscribe to image worshiping, that is Idolatry according to Biblical doctrines and standard! Images of Angels, demons, devils are all around based on experiences from people who encountered them, and truly some people have encountered Jesus, the more reason a particular image is attached to him!
