trendystuf: What is this world turning into? This happened in Gwagwalada in Abuja. Two beautiful high class chicks fight in public because of a married man. It's a shame, no man is worth going this extent for. See the photo when you continue....viewers discretion is advisedYou are beautiful and good, I love that! ![]() |
BinghiNya: the powerless xtian god couldn't save his churchI am happy you made a valid point here, (you wondering what valid point?) at least you recognized their is a 'Christian God' also called the Hebrew God, called Yahweh, I am that I am, Jehovah, etc. If the same Christian God can part the red sea into two, raise the dead to life, enter into a covenant with his chosen people, the Israelites, who are still kicking your cousins a$$es in the your Middle East and beyond, create the world and its inhabitants in 6 days, gave and still giving children to the barren, healing the sick, giving sight to the blind and finally sent his 'Only Begotten Son' Jesus Christ, to die for the sins of mankind (which include you and me) and whose name (the Mighty Name of Jesus) is still healing, delivering, setting free the captives of the Devil and many more miracles too innumerable to mention till date is what you call 'POWERLESS', well, I will rather serve that "CHRISTIAN GOD" till I breathe my last. I hope you can compare your 'Muslim God' to those feats? ![]() |
subterfuge: How can a CURSED nation like Nigeria enjoy 24 hours lightYou have said it all, I cannot agree less!!! |
Nigeria’s electricity parastatal, National Electric Power Authority now plc, was a malfunctioning entity. Little wonder, the common interpretation; Never Expect Power Always, please light candle (befits the acronym, NEPA plc). Although it was changed into Power Holding Company of Nigeria, P.H.C.N (still come under the funny moniker, Please Hold Candle by Night). Looking at the meaningful impacts of South Africa’s ESKOM (an energy giant), in more than thirty African countries one can rightly conclude that we still have a long way to go. When Chief Olusegun Obasanjo came to power in 1999, the total mega watts (mw) of power supply to the country was 2,800 mw, he had the chance to add another 6,540 mw according to experts (at least going by the oil prices that soared greatly under his administration and other additional grants from foreign partners as a result of our newly grabbed democracy) which would have taken our total electricity generation to a stabilising 9,340 mw. Unfortunately, he squandered this golden chance as a result of his “shadow chasing antics” especially the party politics he was playing and the unnecessary rancour he had with his deputy, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, for more than 3 years and other political associates and opponents. His rudderless style of leadership nearly brought the country on her knees. The history of power injection into the economy dated way back in 1956 when the 60 mw Ijora Thermal Power Station came up, twelve years later (1968), 760 mw was added into the National Grid through the Kainji Hydro Power Project, ten years later in 1978, the 720 mw Ogorode Sapele Thermal Power Project was added. The 540 mw Jebba Hydro Power Station was added in 1985; next was the 1,320 mw Egbin Thermal Power Station in 1987, the 600 mw Shiroro Hydro Power Station came up in 1990 while the 600 mw Ughelli Power Station was added in 1991 making the total 4,600 mw as at the year 1991! From 1991 till date (2012), if not for the corruption that has bedevilled the nation’s system we should be boasting of more than 9,000 mw but what do we have now? |

People generally love to relax after a hectic day, week, month, year! The more reason I would like to know how fellow nairalanders relax when they want to take a day off! As for me, I love watching wildlife documentaries or visits parks and just sit with my bottle of lemonade and peanuts, if bored I love the seaside too, some cool and soothing breeze on my skin can be so refreshing! I hope you are not all work and no play fellas.....ok let's go! |
I hope the numerous girls queuing in line and waiting to be exported for prostitution will learn from this
Son, everyone will die one day, I thought you are for real, unfortunately you lack respect for the dead? She is gone to be with her Lord, her slate is clean, you still have yours full of dirts! You are here typing what you don't know about her! If you are a lady in present day Nigeria, even in the world (with the way life is becoming unbearable for youths almost every minutes), I can bet you would be worse than a prostitute! Remember the story of the woman at the well (despite being involved with 5 different men and being a Samaritan for that matter) Jesus Christ never condemned her, show some respect and love to the dead! ![]() |
berem: I could remember when I was much younger,my parents always had their bath together in the bathroom. As time went on,as we grew older, they stopped.this doesn't mean they don't love each other, but maybe they felt it won't be necessary doing that.I also learnt from them bathing together with my husband. That was thoughtful of you, it's a very good thing for couples to engage in this act, because it simply cements the bond of love between the two hence making them fulfilled the 'two becomes one' principle! ![]() |
berem: my head is swelling hia! Thanks a bunch baby. You're welcome beauty ![]() |
nagoma: Land dispute is always dangerous , 50 people were killed in Ebonyi state last year due to land dispute.Even at Uturu in Abia State via Ebonyi State it was the same episode year in year out until it was resolved two years ago just like animals, humans are territorial beings! |
