tunnytox: A real Yoruba will never abuse an Ogbomoso indigeneReally? dayokanu is that you? I tot as much that ur monikers must be numerous here! When u were doggin me around, cursing, erecting billboards I did not complain. Is it now you have just realised a real Yoruba will never abuse an Ogbomoso goat? No wonder Akintola betrayed Awolowo into the hands of Balewa! Emi ko lo n tan! |
ilugunboy: You are not making any iota of sense any longer...You have never made any sense in ur numerous posts here. Egun magaji Abeg go and warm ur grit-filled brain on ur bed. omo you funny sha 'serious foooool' |
dayokanu: Tomakint aka Andre Uweh Mr "I am Yoruba"Ogbomosho Goat! |
ilugunboy: Lolzzzz....una get time to respond to " I am Yoruba". Egun ma gaji, u no go kill me wit laff *tomakint still laughing hard* did u just say 'serious folks'? In case u dont know u are in a 'web of deceit' by dayokanu already! Serious folks ko, 'Serious foools' ni! Egun u really made my day today ![]() |
Katsumoto: He is the most liberal Yoruba imposter in the history of Nairaland; he is such a brilliant poster that others have to post on any thread he posts on.You have been on this game of 'masking the truth' for so long I understand ur points so well alongside ur gangs. U av been quiet for a while now, thank God a 'post' is making u to flex ur muscle as usual! Keep trolling! |
Katsumoto: Is that all? Now sod off.I hope you are ok? |
@ katz, indeed ur refusal to common sense is strange these days! Of course, I was expectin u to comment on Uwuchue's acct because his views compromise ur judgment. I tot u would hav known I am against ur views here based on ur style of bungling debates and cunningly shifting them into ur 'comfort zones' because 'katz must argue to win'! The more reason I ignore u too, until I see a more liberal-minded katz I can careless if 1000 bigots are whinning provided I am not waffling! We can stil meet. |
inufele2: Page 11 tomakintTomakint responds to inufele the babalawo and the next thing; 'return of the almajiris' (naijababe, ilugunboy, tunnytox, and unfortunately katsumoto ) if that response on pg 11 is ur 'serious reply' to me you must be on a very long thing. Uwechue's account compromise ur prejudiced-judgment but if Madiebo's acct is given now u will rubbish it as a fluke |
@inufele2 u're a funny nigg.er ain't u? why not try a career in d group of Baba Suwe. In case u don't know, I don't giv a tinker's damn what u think about me. You did not giv me a cogent response on any pg 12, stop lyin! all along u av been brutish in ur many posts here, hence no word 4 ur type. If u can prove where I av said anything degradin about the Yorubas, show it! Mr tribal-minded Yoruba see me as ur liberal-minded Yoruba rival that will take u out of ur cave-man mentality. My point! ![]() |
Ngodigha: Shut up your dirty mouth, idiott. You think every yoruba is as bigoted as you, fool.Ngodigha abeg free that 'babalawo' even if dem reach 1 million 'highly tribalistic Yorubas' they can't cow me ! People like him bring shame to the revered 'Yoruba Race' always gloating over what they know little or nothing about. He keeps shouting 'give me source' and d moment you supply one, his grit-filled brain can't interprete d info before him.Avoid goons like that! |
@ icon aus and crossover, may you live long to see the country of ur dream. My position on the civil war was initially from a biased mind as a Yoruba man towards my Igbo brethren until 7 years when I started meeting people who actually fought in the war and revealed some of their experiences too dark to be in print. Our parents should be blamed for sowing these seeds of discords in our hearts, thank God I know better now. It's a pity we were used to kill our brethren in the East. Thanks 4 ur wisdom |
Da infamous: This why i hardly engage on some issues here on NL because most of them are not thinking straight so why bother? the article is from Nigeria world by Alfred obiora nzekwe...as i said sometimes when i read some comments i laugh is better they don't comment at all because it make them look like a product of evil...You are right, since the war issue has been on I have been watching in utmost shock the message of; 'rightness of wrongs and virtues of vices'! |
T9ksy: Of course ke! Ojukwu was right to attempt secession .................with 120 rifles and no means of feeding his civilian population. What a bold andcourageousmove..............indeed!!!You make me laugh with ur adultrated sarcasm is it nothing 2 u that Gowon was willin to secede when he returned from Aburi b4 he was convinced by Allison Ayida-led Civil service? What do u now make out from the 'unity' Gowon was pretending to give? |
all4naija: I would be very happy to see the Igbo community along side the fictitious writer take this matter to the International Criminal Court(ICC) at the Hague. Then, we will see how much this matter can prove with evidences to support the Alzheimer-suffering prof(Chinua Achebe) stance on the war-crimes!Should Biafrans succeed in dragging Gowon to ICC, trust me Gowon is history! How Murtala and co were acting like animals under is watch as the GC wil finish him off |
Abeg tell them o! This debate is tilting towards a psychopathic path from my Yoruba folks. The fact is who shot the first bullet? FG! Who started the genocide? FG! Who shot at relief camps in Biafra? FG! Who shot at planes with relief materials? FG! If there was no genocide as claimed by some clowns here, then what do u make out from harakiri committed and protest from people around the world at Nigerian embassies in support of Biafra. Ojukwu was right to secede! |
Ngodigha: Shut up your mouth, fool. If you have read it, then you would have known that Osuji has been telling lies?. Did Achebe say Yorubas are not intelligent and they do not do well in classroom?.Abeg free that monster (gidiMonsta) I can bet he has never read the preview let alone the book. Even though I have read the preview online I can tell that Osuji is writing under the strong influence of bitter hatred on Achebe's works. The book was a careful piece! |
@inufBefore u take Osuji's account as ur 'gospel' try to read General Madiebo's on the war u will av a full grasp of the true picture on how genocide was committed against the Biafrans. All those claims that the FG was tryin to send food to the Biafrans were 'laughable propaganda' the food sent to Biafra by FG were for the FG troops in occupied territories of Biafra. Ojukwu insisted on the usual route for food supply from foreign aid but Gowon refused, there the starvation-driven GENOCIDE sets in! |
inufele2: Stop turning in a circle like a lunatic, I throw you a challenge its either you take it or fckk off! Osuji is a psychopath? Ok agreed now disprove the points of this psychopath and prove he's wrong otherwise this so called psychopath is better than you simples.Challenge? u never did, u were only regurgitating what Osuji did and I raised a vital point Osuji was trying to evade, GENOCIDE! Over to u now, was their a GENOCIDE againt defenseless Biafrans or not? |
inufele2:You now see the reason I can't engage you. Even if the truth is painted in white u still will not see it. Osuji has been confirmed to b a virulent critic of Achebe and if you now take the words of a psychopath to be your 'gospel' I am afraid I cant help. Achebe's book has stated the noble truth you love to hate, that;'there was a FG-orchestrated GENOCIDE' |
inufele2: Your story of the donkey is for your own consumption, if your own number 6 is working you'll stand like a man and disprove the points Osuji raised rather than rambling like a confused demented fellow. You dont get it, do you? I feel like engaging you on some salient points, but my problem is how do I drive home my points to someone labelled; foool, imb.ecile, slowpoke, and the likes on this thread without derailing? Hope u got my point now?huh |
inufele2: LWKMDDude, I am afraid your story may be of 'the donkey who laboured for 30 years just to become a horse, unfortunately it never became one' I hav gone thru ur uncivilized rantings here and the attendant bashing u've received. It's obvious ur no 6 is not wired for logic, if I engage u now it's like fetchin water wit a basket ![]() |
I may not have read Achebe's book, but I have gone thru a thorough preview of the four chaptered 333-page book in a most concise manner.Indeed, Osuji must be a 'Clown from Mars' to label such a detailed piece Lies and Fiction, not even our own Wole Soyinka would say that. I now have every reason to agree with samkoro that the said Osuji might be mentally unbalanced and perhaps still looking for his identity! |
Dede1: The worse propaganda noticed during and after Nigeria\Biafra war came from Yoruba land. In fact, some of the propagandas were childish and laughable. For example, the crap that surrounds Francis Fajuiyi wanting and begging the July 29, 1966 coup participants to die with Ironsi. What a joke. You are perfectly right on this! in fact, the coupists targeted Fajuyi first because of info reachin them that he gave his blessings to d Jan 15 putsch! |
Even the monkeys that witnessed the war knew there was GENOCIDE! The vultures feasting on the corpses of those innocent souls knew there was GENOCIDE! The great Wole Soyinka affirmed that indeed there was GENOCIDE against the defenseless Biafrans long before Achebe even wrote his book! TIME Magazine, Nelson Mandela and many other great minds gave their supports to the flawless accounts of ACHEBE! The book's centrepiece hangs on a FG-orchestrated GENOCIDE! So, who the hell is OSUJI? ![]() |
Ladies crying is a common occurence in the Western world, but in Nigerian context it hardly occurs and if it did occured it is strictly within the climes of 'ajebo babes' which means 'finally I have a shoulder to lean on' enu mi ko leti ma gbo yen |
jay di: dnt think the north will stand a chance in d 2015 elections....Definitely a Jonathan is it come 2015 till 2019 (that is if d country will still b one)! 2019 may likely tilt towards the IGBOS (mark my words). If Nigeria will still b one, Abokis can attempt it by 2027 but trust me, the Muslim NORTH are gradually becoming irrelevant in Nigerian Politics ![]() |
no vex oya, so, how far with the bed of roses one na?
No vex too That's why you are a man ![]() |
and you have touched on another subject that baffles me, if marriage is not a bed of roses? why should we bother getting married na ![]() ![]() ?ok, we may get to that later. but er. . . is this what you're taught at the counseling class? also, a wife is a hireling? really?
Dude not a 'wife' I wrote 'a woman'! Read my post again! |
Dude, why hasn't the DEVOURER visited Dangote or Bill Gates?
Son, you make me laugh from your arguments you are trying to use logic to explain away the words of GOD, no, it doesn't work that way.Asking me about Dangote and Bill Gates is not the point here, God has said in his book (read Matthew 6) that HE send his rain both on the just and unjust (note that rain here means HIS manifold blessings) if you are a cheerful giver (like what Bill Gates, Dangote and other philanthropists are doing) there are some blessings attached get that one sraight. What we are discussing here is the issue of TITHE; and I have given you a telling descriptions of what that are attached in my other post. |
If I am privileged to advise intending couples I will ask them to ponder on these three: • A house is not a home! • A man is not a husband! • A woman is not a wife! Meaning: • A house is a building; a home is where characters are shaped • A man is a visitor; a husband is a shepherd • A woman is a hireling; a wife is a keeper …..from the above work out your own SALVATION with fear and trembling, because MARRIAGE is not a bed of roses! |
uhonmora: only if it is given to the poor and needy openly in church and not used to pay salaries and fund affluence. tithing is not a remedy against poverty, hardworking and determination is.Hardwork and determination alone cannot guarantee you the needed remedy against poverty, if you think so I am advising you to think again! Why, I know and heard of a lot of guys who are working in big time companies like Shell, Chevron, Banks and other multinationals that are living in deficit, couldn't build houses of their own, not successful in marriage, not living in good health despite their so-called stupendous wealth. The issue is this, there is a Spirit called DEVOURER (read Malachi 3: 8-10) that visits every defaulter on this TITHING issue and its job is to act as its name is, DEVOUR! When you pay your tithe, God spoke in that portion of the BIBLE that HE will rebuke the DEVOURER for your sake, that means tithes can give you 100% sound health, debt-free life, sound and working marriages, divine protection etc. Friend, tithe is more than what you are viewing it to be, it's a question of praying for the discening Spirit of God to see it as it is, MY POINT! |
Tithing is one of the greatest LEGACY Parents can bequeath to their children. Yeah its RIGHT for children to pay tithes because as they grow they learn to live with that notion. Tithing is one of the known remedy against POVERTY! Don't forget that ![]() |
