Politics › Re: Boko Haram Negotiates Cease-fire, Chibok Girls Release In S’arabia by tomiobj(m): 2:27pm On Oct 17, 2014 |
200 galz.lets bet. They won't More than 5 nanss: Islamist militant group Boko Haram is in talks with the federal government to release more than 200 girls abducted six months ago and negotiate a cease-fire to a deadly insurgency that has claimed thousands of lives. An adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan and a man calling himself the secretary- general of Boko Haram told VOA Thursday that discussions are under way in Saudi Arabia, aided by high level officials from Chad and Cameroon. Boko Haram’s Danladi Ahmadu, who is in Saudi Arabia, said the girls are “in good condition and unharmed.” Ahmadu would not elaborate on the conditions under which the girls would be freed. Riyadh is not involved in the negotiations. On April 14, dozens of Boko Haram fighters stormed a secondary school in the remote northeastern village of Chibok, kidnapping around 270 girls. Fifty-seven managed to escape. Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau later threatened to sell the remainder as slave brides, vowing they would not be released until militant prisoners were freed from jail. President Goodluck Jonathan has been criticized at home and abroad for his slow response to the kidnapping and for the inability of Nigerian troops to quell the violence by the militants, seen as the biggest security threat to Africa’s top economy and leading energy producer.

RoyalPriesthuud: Please pardon my inquisitivity, but Lagos is GMT+1. Can you please explain how/why it's 4pm and not 5pm . Lagos is under gmt. Don't campare lagos time with northern city times ed london or Paris. Because the use daylight saving time. Which is. Since it gets dark on time. They reverse their time by one hour to 'save daylight' Lagos /nigeria is GMT+00 |

CHAPTER 1: The stars shone brightly and so did the moon. It was a beautiful night and everyone was asleep, except Anna. she climbed unto the bed and rolled up on her 5year old sister who was sleeping. "let's play Elsa" she said in a playful tone. Elsa grunted lightly. "Go play by yourself Anna" she said pushing her 3year old sister unto the bare floor. Anna landed on her butt and rolled her really big eyes. suddenly, she remembered something and a mischievous smile appeared on her lips. she jumped up and climbed the bed again. opening one of Elsa's eyelid, she whispered with effect, " Do you wanna build a snow man"? obviously, it worked. Elsa loved that. They did it together always. jumping off the bed, she shoved aside the covers and they both scrambled out of the room screaming and laughing, disregarding the silence of the night. "shhhhhh!" said Elsa trying to bring her sister's laughter to a tolerable minimum and she herself was guilty. Entering their large ball room which was normal for a palace to have, They shut the door and Anna shouted to Elsa with pleading eyes. " Do the magic, do the magic!" " Are you ready" " yes". Elsa stamped her right foot on the room floor and snow spread out therefrom to all four corners of the room. She was heavenly endowed with the gift to freeze things with ice and make snow out of nothing. In no time, the room was a rink. Elsa built a snow man and hid behind him. " Hi, i'm olaf and i like warm hugs" she said, as if it was the snow man talking. "i love you, olaf" shouted Anna. "Jump,Anna!" shouted Elsa It was a trick they'd been practicing for ages.Anna jumped off a snow drift, and Elsa caught her in another. Anna began jumping faster and faster, and Anna practically had to shout for her to slow down. Suddenly, Elsa slipped on the ice. She fell, her short blond pigtails swinging. She pushed herself into a half sitting position, just in time to see Anna spin through the air, and was goin to land on nothing!"Anna" she cried, shooting a blast of her snow magic, meaning to make a hill of snow for her to land on. It hit the little princess in the head. Anna crashed to the ground. Elsa ran towards her sister's limp form."Mama! Papa!" she cried, cradling the unconscious Anna's head in her lap |

Weirdo. What do you even think of to d xtent of smelling cutlery Kachisbarbie: This happened today and I decided to share it with my e-buddies. I got pretty hungry within the day and had to go for lunch with friends (not in a fast food though) - when we got there, immediately they served us, I picked up my spoon and smelt it (stylishly) : now this is a habit that I formed over the years - it's now reflex - I must smell my spoon before eating.
I do it everywhere, @weddings, child dedications...I have lost count of how many times my husband/family/friends have told me to stop it - but I can't . Let me take us back to how I formed this habit.
I think it should be about 6yrs ago, when we relegated my kid sis (the smallest sis) into the kitchen dept., she was about 10/11yrs then. She had the weirdest way of washing dishes. One day she served my food - the spoon was already inside the rice...when I started eating, I kept noticing this 'cockroach like smell'. I checked the plate, the tray, my mind didn't even go to the spoon.
Then bang...I smelt the spoon and I threw up immediately, it was the damn spoon - I felt like beating that lil-witch that day. It destabilized my system for days (I kept throwing up)...so since then, I don't care where/when/how...I smell my spoon/cup before using to eat, except I washed it myself.
The question is :- Is this habit of mine that bad, my friends couldn't stop talking about it today. :-Does anyone else do this? I don't want to believe I'm alone.

Wow. So I should go and start celebrating like an idiot bah Sijioke: During the evening. Big brother called tayo to the diary room. Tayo said he was suprised when bigbrother called him but when he got there and bigbrother told him that it was a good news. He had already knew it was the news. He was already shedding tears.. Bigbrother congratulated him and gave him a congratulatory card with the picture of the baby boy attached to it. He thanked bigbrother. When he got back to the house.. All the housemates were happy and they all rejoiced with him especially his freind Esther, and his nigerian counterpart. Lilian.. The housemates prayed for him and the baby. They were all happy.. Then tayo named his baby oluwatoye. He gave a testimony of the awesome delievery of the baby. After the dangerous pills his girlfreind took and the doctors bad report that they should terminate the baby, but with the shocking reports God saved the baby's life. He thanked all his freinds that God would strengthen them all and that God would help them in times of trouble. Meanwhile, tayo and lilian the two nigerian housemate among others were nominated for eviction this week after failing the extraveganzer drama performance which would have immuned them from nomination and eviction if the new head of house [samantha] does not add any of them up. |
