If it were that all electoral disputes could be resolved before handover date, it would make perfect sense to wait until after the final verdict from the most superior court and then a certificate of return is issued. As it stands, the Electoral act provides that the Tribunal must conclude hearing and give judgment not later than 180 days, 90 days each for the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. That is effectively 1 year. Meanwhile a sitting governor will typically handover about 3 months after election. Should there then be a vacuum when there is a 'validly' elected governor in waiting?

As for not issuing Adeleke a certificate of return immediately, I guess it's tidier to wait until the end and then re-issue if need be otherwise, it the Supreme Court rules in Oyetola's favour, there will be no need.

There is a vacum here already, certificate was issued to oyetola before the end of any court cases, all court cases must come to its conclusion before handing certificates of return to anybody... As it stand now, some are seeing INEC as disobeying court order or taking a side...

No argument whatsoever, Amen! The point is, the rules of court and law generally allows a person to exhaust all possible legal remedies within the stipulated time provided.

The rule does not says, don't issue certificate of return, infact, the court rulling said, oyetola certificate should be return and adeleke issued new one, if they issued certificate to winner in election without waiting for 21 days to see maybe anyone will challenge the result, why then, saying to wait 21 days now?

Its quite simple, they play money politics, wen they enter office, they have huge debt to pay back, they will return favour to party faithful too, most of whom u will give contracts to at inflated amounts and some, they wount execute it and there is absolutely nothing u can do about it, don't forget ur own investment too, u will wanna take back ur own money with profit... I sha know it's between Oyakhilome and Oyedepo. $150 million is just a bit above the amount living faith spent on Landmark university. However it is hard to analyze the wealth of pastors apart from their churches. Should we assign oyedepo's jet, schools to the church or himself. To me as long as those properties are registered to church then it can not constitute the wealth of pastors.

Private investors are the key to Nigeria achieving stable electricity.
Imagine if all the money going into the oil and gas sector were chanelled into power production.
The govt just has to find a way to streamline the power sector, because investors aren't putting much money there because they are not guaranteed of their maximum ROI.
We need to make the power sector profitable, just like the oil and gas sector, and we just might get it right.

To solve power issue is quite easier than many people are made to believe... Infact, it's easy. Just vote a working government and voila, in 4 years, u are already enjoying electricity
