Job description:
This is a unique job opportunity for a creative Web and Intranet Communications specialist to join our forward thinking organisation.

With an expanding team and an ambitious business plan, the PR & Communications team here at the Accord Group certainly don`t stand still. They have achieved many of their goals so far and are set to continue this journey to accomplish more.

We need an expert copy writer, someone who has a flair for writing copy for websites and intranets and a good eye for design, a master at spelling and have a great command of the written English language.

You should have a working knowledge of Flash and HTML and be well versed in Photoshop and how to use social media sites for the benefit of a large and diverse organisation. Experience of using CSS would be beneficial, but not essential. You should be able to communicate well with everyone from residents, colleagues to stakeholders and should have experience in dealing with external agencies. We have recently set up the Accord Group Facebook page and have a dedicated Twitter page which we are actively using. We realise that this form of communication is part of the future and therefore we want someone who has operated these sites on behalf of their employer in great detail.

It`s an extremely exciting time here at the Accord Group; we are re-creating our intranet pages and need our Web and Intranet Communications officer to embrace this project from outset to completion. You will be responsible for the up-keep of the site and have the ability to manage and manipulate the web-based content.

You will be joining an innovative team who are knowledgeable, friendly and effective.

When u visit other countries u see how knowledgeable our Nigerians doctors are, they are expert in nearly all the fields and are well appreciated. Here they are not utilised properly, the infrastructure is poor,we have average equipments are poor facilities Too many fake drugs and deadly dieases not picked up early, until something is done by the federal government Nigerian's will contine to spend heavily abroad.

Very good report of Lagos, fair enough Gov Fashola has done some great things in Lagos but at the same destroyed the life of so many poor people. For example the banning of the okada's will cause serious crime in the city, how does he expect people to survive. The unemployment rate is extremely high, mostly the Island has been beautified with some other parts in Lagos but is it beauty we want to eat.

The fees on the toll gate is just a joke and when it rains heavily, the roads are extremely bad. To me personal I think Fashola was just a figure head in charge of Lagos while Tinubu is the one controlling the whole show.
