A broken engagement is far better than a broken marriage.. he is doing this now, then what is he going to do when you are both married?
And some words are worst than beating trust me.. I know from experience

If the answer to these questions is yes then I see no reason why ordinary insult should spoil your marriage, unless he beats you. Insult him back - call him a bigger fool, a he-goat, a maluu, a stupendous ignoramus calamity - and get used to it. When kids start coming he won't have time to insult you again.

Starting a family is not something you should do simply because you feel like doing it or because the society see it as something you should do.

You should only start a family when you know you have the required tools (sticking with the financial aspect).

Imagine a couple who earns 100k combined monthly and then decide to start a family because they want to start in little ways. 3 kids along the line and with other responsibilities; how are they gonna cope with enrolling those kids in good schools, providing them with the necessary materials such that the kids can compete with their peers?

Every decision we make in life will either make or mar our future. The streets of Nigeria is filled with innocent children hawking bananas and groundnuts because two lovebirds failed to think twice before jumping into the murky waters of marriage.
In the school where my mum works, a child of Primary 1 pays a whooping N65,500 for tuition alone. If you want the best life for your children, I'll advise you make it first before marriage. If you want them to go to schools where children sit on the floor to learn, e concern you.
