Christianity EtcRe: Cultism, The Spiritual Consequences And Deliverance Through Christ by tot(f): 6:13am On Sep 01, 2019
The Gospels are full of the miracles of Jesus, Paul's letters are full of exhortation, correction, teachings aiming to mature the readers in Christ. So, I really don't understand the stance of Nigerian spirikoko that claim to know far more than the Scriptures and start detailing the hierarchies of demons and their operations. Where in the Bible is that promoted?

Some other points:

- A man of God is still a man and is not infallible. Using a known pastor to validate something which is erroneous does not change the fact that it is erroneous. For those who take the stance of Pastor A said x and Pastor A is well known, therefore whatever he said has to be right even if there is no Biblical basis, have you not turned such a pastor into your idol?

- Anyone belittling the Word of God as not being enough is displaying an enormous red flag.

- On the last day, each person will stand as an individual, there will be no hiding under the cloak of another. You are not going to stand together with anyone else. Therefore work out your own salvation with trembling. Don't be deceived.

People have different agendas here, there are many wolves in sheep clothing. When a person starts using subtle tactics to intimidate or shut others who rightly challenge them, it speaks volumes. Even Paul was glad the Berean Christians searched things out in the Scriptures for themselves.

For those who feel they know more than God sef, carry on. Continue delving into the dark things until it swallows you.

People are meant to be challenging exactly what Buhari achieved in Japan (vis a vis what we see Ghana successfully accomplished) this kanu of a man keeps serving as a distraction to what should be focused on and foolish youths will also keep doing back and forths with each other on petty irrelevant nonsense, later they will say poverty is increasing in the land, how won't it when you can't engage your leadership properly.. So annoying.

Is it just a single person (ochibuogwu5) that posts in this thread every 2 minutes huh

I've clicked on the last few pages and just one person literally filling the entire page.

If you want to be posting multiple updates / your daily thoughts why not create a diary or thread or even a blog dedicated specifically to that and those who are interested in what you are writing can subscribe to it, rather than hijacking a thread like this meant for interaction from everyone, that's very selfish behaviour.

The beauty of a thread like this should be the diversity and input from different people, not a one man show.

This is a classic case of half empty or half full glass of water, your pessimistic mindset made you think €55m "donation" is nothing but an assembly plant worth.far less is an achievement. What Nigeria needs isnt assembly plants, but for indegenous automakers like inosson and proforce to be prioritized through policies that discourages the likes of Toyota from gaining more access to our economy at the expense of local guys.. this is the only way to create sustainable employment and stimulating the economy without worrying about Capital flight

.
It is not a donation, nothing is free even in Freetown.
How many cars has innoson produced and sold, the man whose business is being frustrated up and down. Rather than the government to focus on creating an environment which investors will naturally gravitate to, he is busy gallivanting all over the place. Which company will come and start operations in a country where both citizens and foreigners are kidnapped on a daily basis, a country where they will spend a better part of their revenue on diesel for generator. Buhari should sit down in his country and get to work. Ghana has done the hard work already and built a good base on which they can easily attract investors.

If your job here is so defend Buhari please don't quote me. I am only interested in discussing with those that have the interest of the country at heart and not the political jobbers and tribalists here that defend without being objective.

We got €55m from EU to rebuild northeast, besides we don't need toyota plant when ipobian inosson is trying to grow, and maduka coscharis owns a ford.plant with nissan plant also functioning

..
Getting €55m from the EU is not an achievement. Getting companies to establish a base is what stimulates growth in an economy by creating jobs. Meanwhile, it's not free money, it is very likely a LOAN which means Nigeria has to pay it back with INTEREST.

We don't need Toyota plant you say? So because company A exists then no need for company B? If this was how other governments ran their countries they would have become like Nigeria. How about increasing the number of industries and companies in the country? With unemployment in double digits we do not have the luxury of saying "we don't need Toyota plant". Sigh.

..as Buhari woos Toyota to set up Assembly plant in Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday held investment talks with top officials of Japan Bank for International Cooperation, and Toyota Group.

The meeting was held on the sideline of the Seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development, TICAD 7, in Yokohama, Japan and was contained in a statement signed and forwarded to DAILY POST by his Media Aide, Femi Adesina.

Led by its Deputy Governor, Mr Nobumitsu Hayashi, the Japan Bank for International Cooperation indicated its interest in supporting projects in which Japanese companies are involved in Nigeria.

The bank said it had lots of resources dedicated for that purpose and would be interested in oil and gas, and investments in infrastructure.

President Buhari welcomed the bank, informing the team that Nigeria had introduced the Ease of Doing Business, and bureaucratic bottlenecks were being cleared off the way.

At a bilateral meeting with Toyota Tsusho, a part of the Toyota conglomerate, President/CEO of the group, Ichiro Kashitani, indicated interest in sectors like energy, healthcare and automobiles, saying Toyota would be delighted to have presence all over Nigeria.

Kashitani said Toyota Tsusho wishes to also build an advanced medical diagnostics centre, which would foreclose need for foreign travel to obtain cutting edge medical diagnosis.

President Buhari urged the group to also consider setting up a car assembly plant, noting that Nigeria had the capacity to absorb the investment for positive returns.

At another meeting with the Prime Minister of Algeria, Noureddine Bedoui, President Buhari counseled that the political programme in the country be faithfully executed, which would lead to general elections as soon as possible.

“Algeria is a good pan-Africanist nation, with a lot of influence over the continent,” the President said.

Prime Minister,Bedoui said dialogue was in progress with all stakeholders leading to elections, hopefully by end of the year
Urging. Wishing. How does this translate to tangible agreements? Nothing was committed to. If wishes were horses, beggars would ride. Talk is cheap. Ghana went away with a SIGNED MOU!!

We should consider the economy of the state or country before declaring extra public holidays.

At present, the number of public holidays in the country (13 or 14 each year) are too many.

Osun, by its declarations, has increased the number of public holidays in the state to 15 or 16.

Some days may just be observed but should still remain normal working days.
This is the only sensible comment I have seen on this thread. Thank you.
