OkCornel: Anyone who reads Rebecca Brown's book and still turn a blind eye to the testimonies in there and embrace fear simply has no clue on how powerful God is.
Heck, with this fearful mindset, Jesus must even be wrong to teach His disciples a thing or two about evil spirits.
I get it, today's church is filled with a lot of people who are even susceptible to fear in the first place!
The focus should be on testimonies of victory, and not what the kingdom of darkness is capable of.
But guess what, those who read those books will conveniently forget the testimonies of victories and disparage her books. I reiterate my initial point: The Bible clearly tells us that Jesus Christ is far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come, and He has put all things under His feet and has made Him the head over all things for the church (Ephesians 1:18-22). So why would one be analysing and focusing on things / spirits / lesser powers already placed under the authority of Jesus? For what purpose? Does this edify? Does this build up faith? By the way, Rebecca Brown has been proven to be a fraud. Well, I am not here to start debating, just to state clearly what the Word of God says. And that is the ultimate which trumps every other thing and person. |

michaelkaroh: With time, the purpose of every action must surely come to light. Those that would be deceived are already deceived but the people that know their God shall be strong and do exploits. Give it time. Well, we'll see re: with time. For any Christian, it is very important to KNOW God, let one's feet be planted on the solid rock so you won't be swayed. |

My issue with write ups like these is they place the FOCUS on the devil and his activities. It reminds me of Rebecca Brown's books and other similar books that end up promoting fear.
The Bible clearly tells us that Jesus Christ is far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come, and He has put all things under His feet and has made Him the head over all things for the church (Ephesians 1:18-22). So why would one be analysing and focusing on things / spirits / lesser powers already placed under the authority of Jesus? For what purpose? Does this edify? Does this build up faith?
Well, the Bible tells us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, the Bible should be your SOLE source as a Christian, nothing more or less. |

Chidorx60: You post made a lot of sense,a lot of carnal/human sense.
The prayers made in mfm is never against human vessels, but against the evil forces that manipulate humans.
You may want to say that mfm are taught to pray away their problems, because its they don't want to hear the ugly truth.
But lemme tell you were u are missing it,people face setback due to natural causes, exactly like what you clearly stated. But I want you to also know that most setback result from spiritual causes.
If you are the type who doesn't believe in the supernatural, allow me notify that you are living in a big illusion.
I will give u reasons why you must pray like an mfm prayer warrior.
When as a student every week to your exam you experience pounding headache which ends immediately your exam begins,,not once, not twice.
Or as a student you read so hard that you tell people answers to questions but when it's time to write, you can't see a thing and then you now begin to beg people to write for you.
Or as a lady of 39 you have never been wooed by a man,am talking about an extremely beautiful lady, Or as a lady any man who wooes u is being chased about in the dream different men.
Or as a business man you set up chains of businesses which all crumble each time, after having a specific dream.
All these scenarios are of situations that happened to people I know or have heared about.
This world is more spiritual than physical, its only people who have not seen real spiritual problem that will say, thoes prayers are alternatives for thinking straight.
Btw I'm not an mfm member. That's one of Nairaland's in-house atheists. All he needs to see is the word "pastor" or "church" in the subject line, that's all it takes to set him off. They won't paddle their canoe and practice their atheism in peace. |

Overdraft is an arrangement under which the customer is allowed to withdraw in excess of the balance standing as credit in the current account, but only up to a certain limit.
Loan refers to the fixed sum of money borrowed for a definite period, against collateral, which is expected to be repaid with
Abeg, which Nigerian bank allows overdraft into 5m?!!!
Also, which bank issues loan without collateral?! OP has clearly stated there was no property.
Meanwhile, the number that "bought data" in trucaller is a male name.
Anyway, even a blind person can connect all the dots. |

For those who are unsure whether to believe this "17 year old girl" (at your own peril), see below:
1. Deleted response to RonKenoly
2. Different comment on another post showing a male name
Anyway, it is clear already to all and sundry that this is a SCAMMMER.
3. Initially claimed it was a loan, then switched to it was overdraft which was easy to get (despite no collateral), then changed to the banker borrowed money from other customers for the 'mother' and on and on it goes.
