Why is it that people like you always have to wait until Igbos do it before you start preaching.?
Look at topics on the front-page. It is littered with clownish braggings from Yoruba nut jobs.

But somehow, I don't see you preaching to them.
You probably even liked one or two bigoted posts.
I couldn't give a hoot whoever does it, you guys should stop the senselessness. Makes no sense that every single thread is littered with crap.

Just take a look at the disgraceful comments on this post. Nigeria is not ready to progress with these kinds of citizens.

Continue tearing each other apart whilst you share a SINGLE passport and identity as far as the whole world is concerned - Nigerian passport.

Continue tearing each other apart whilst the thieves at the top have a field day, thieves who are united in looting despite tribe. Foolishness!

Many people are bashing this guy for making money illegally despite the fact he invested the money in Nigeria and still runs a charity organization.

I'll not be surprised if this guy spends 10 yrs in jail and still come out richer than some people criticizing him.
Dude, let's put sentiments aside. Anyone involved in internet fraud is evil and NOTHING can ever justify it including philanthropy. Some of the victims of such fraud are people who have sweated decades to save up that money, some of the money are people's pensions, some people go ahead to commit suicide as a result. Please let us not forget that there are REAL PEOPLE at the other end of fraud.
It is not innocent money.
It is not harmless money.
It is money obtained by WICKEDNESS

That Elizabeth Holmes was something else. What stuns me was how she was able to get away with it for so long? She made suckers of everyone even Forbes

Madoff was the Don of Dons when it comes to corporate crooks.

He created the largest Ponzi scheme collecting over $50 billion and never invested a dime of the money. How low can you go?
Honestly.
Well, she's blonde and pretty, the quintessential "all American" girl. I'm sure that helped in some way. Branding and image, tick.
Madoff is the father of them all, someone needs to write a novel about that guy, like the Godfather cheesy

What puzzles me is how the investors fall for it. Don't they do due diligence? I don't get it. Although on the other hand, a lot of these scammers in the West package very well, so I guess it's sometimes more difficult to sift the wheat from the chaff.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Am I been extravagant or is my village people following me. by tot(f): 3:21pm On Aug 17, 2019
Before you can determine whether you are being extravagant or not, you need to go back to the basics. Each month, what are your fixed costs? How much do you spend on transport, feeding, etc on a monthly basis? That determines how much is left you can reasonably save. As someone already mentioned, you need to open a separate savings account and pay yourself FIRST before non-fixed expenses.
Also, your accommodation, although paid yearly, can be saved for on a monthly basis.

Unfortunately u can't be matured with morons like that. People that will be quick to call u a hater and insult u because u have said something they don't agree with should not be given a pass. They are like animals. The only language they understand is the fist and the boot.

So it's either u leave the thread and let them keep perpetuating ignorance and bullying everyone that disagrees with them or u stick around and put them in their place. And trust me I love putting them in their place smiley

What I am doing is a public service. It lets the few people capable of thinking realise that they aren't alone and are free to voice their doubts and critiques whenever they want to. You may not like it. But that's the way it has to be until the general IQ of the average Nigerian significantly improve.

Cheers.
There are loads of characters on NL, there are those who only know how to focus on insulting others or derailing posts with tribal crap but descending to their level means one is no better, because you are basically exhibiting the same thing you are condemning. This thread could have been a knowledge base on physics, laws and principles pro and against the claim.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

Same with Elizabeth Holmes, the Theranos lady. Being featured on Forbes now is a no-no, they've lost credibility.

For the avoidance of doubt and for the neutral people who are reading this. I have years of experience in the power sector and with power generation too. All the idiots arguing against me here like lwisee and his moronic twin Valenu probably didn't even graduate from school. And they are here arguing with me. Ask them what kind of experience they have other than asslicking. cheesy wink
There are people reading this thread to understand the details (not everyone is in the sciences or engineering) but all one can see is insults from both sides. It's just a shame that Nigerians can not engage in healthy debates without getting personal. At the end of the day there is nothing to learn here from any of you. Years of experience would be expected to bring maturity as well.

Who are you to decide what is important and what isn't or gave you the authority to censor me or anybody else here and therefore interfere with my right to freedom of speech?

You are obviously giving yourself more importance than you actually are.

Accordingly you have two options here: either address the issue raised or completely keep your mouth shut; otherwise you have no right whatsoever to determine what I or anyone can say - the forum does not belong to you; so deal with it.
