Upforsex: I get out of the house daily and I do things that get me exhausted and take my time. But you know that time when you want to sleep and going through your phone then you find yourself viewing porn. That’s the problem. Masturbation doesn’t drain me mentally like you perceived When u get home and u are about to sleep, keep your phone far away. So u won't be tempted to watch porn. Trust me that shit is dangerous |
Career › Re: Why Do Job Seekers Avoid Insurance Sale Roles? by totem1(m): 5:35pm On Nov 09, 2019 |
ehinmowo: I will ALWAYS advise people to rather remain jobless than to take insurance job in Nigeria. As fraudulent as GNLD is, it's more profitable than insurance jobs (I have experienced both).
Firstly, insurance has had bad stories in the past. Many people have been scammed (though the regulation is a lot better now).
Secondly, many people that embraced insurance (both now and then) were not told the entire truth. Hence they ended up losing their money and the claim they supposed to get (if you default in your premium beyond the agreed grace period, forget any claim).
Thirdly, People have limited knowledge about insurance. They don't know that you can "save" your money with insurance companies the same way you can save in commercial banks, with some added benefits (firstly, you are covered, insurance wise during the period your money is there, and insurance has the HIGHEST return on investment in Nigeria, you could get as high as 17-30% return. unlike commercial banks that will be stealing your money).
Apart from the above factors, insurance companies are looking for cheap labour. There is no marketing team or vehicle for mobility or marketing. You will walk the streets till you literally see your soul departing your body. Tell me, who will invest his millions or even thousands with someone with bent shoes and sweat? If insurance works as the marketers (sometimes they use fancy names like risk advisor. lol. to attract "JJCs" claim, why are they working under one of the most heinous conditions?
Like I said, it better to be separating weevils from Beans every morning than to work for insurance companies. I "saved" money with Niger insurance till end of policy, 2 years later and still counting. I haven't even seen my principal, where are the regulators? Insurance is a joke in this country |
Nairaland General › Help Niger Insurance Has Refused Pay My Investment Claim by totem1(op): 4:13pm On Apr 05, 2019 |
Dear Nairalanders, I don't know what to do any more. I have a 2 year high interest investment with Niger Insurance. I paid my premium through out the duration of the product. My investment reached maturity at the end of August 2018. It has been one story or another. It's about 8 months and this insurance company has not paid my claim. I'm really desperate and I'll appreciate any advice that would help me recover even my capital. Do I have a strong case against Niger Insurance in court? And in case anyone else is considering Niger Insurance, please be careful. |

You are right, I'm Nigerian but I feel sorry for Ghana. I met a Ghana based yahoo boy once and I felt bad while thinking of the rot he was "contributing", I hope they all rot in your jails, since our govt wont do that. Your government should keep up the good work, but should also be careful so it won't affect lawful foreigners. I love Ghana. Plan to visit again. V0lv0: I wish they could scrap this Ecowas rubbish as it does not bring any benefit to Ghana in any way.
Ghana must first look at what benefits her citizens first and there is anything wrong in a country benefiting it's own citizens first and we are allowed to do this and Ecowas rule cannot overrule a country's own rule if it will be to the detriment of it's own citizens.
Nigerians can either abide by the rules of the country they are based in or go back to their country. If it was the other way around and this was happening in Nigeria they would be a Ghana must go 2.
This is not about hate or envy but doing what's best for the country's citizens.
How I wish they could scrap this Ecowas nonsense as it has opened the door to so many unlawful and criminal elements in our society too. |

Please tell that to the students whose life were destroyed by the same guy! Not only he is a part of the dysfunctional system IMO, he's also an enabler and a full participant' passing judgement on offenders and enforcing rules. It's hypocritical to descend on student offenders and still commit the same thing, he had too many stories around him. Is not about him, it's the system. CU is the best school IMO but it needs to be reformed. I hope this can trigger a change. NSK4U: so because he was part of a system that judged wrongly, we should also judge him wrongly? sir, two wrongs they say don't make a right |
Education › Re: Olumuyiwa Oludayo: Sex Scandal Covenant University Lecturer Chat Leak By Student by totem1(m): 2:39pm On Sep 12, 2018 |
Nothing may be wrong with what he did, but he was part of a system that punished students for the same behavior NSK4U: yes, I shall continue to defend him. mind u, this is a part of Africa where a man is entitled to as many wives and girlfriends as he can afford and lecturers are not exception to that! and a lady too is entitled to either concur or decline any such approach. in this case, the man isn't forcing the lady and thus should not be condemned for his expression of interest.
so try to separate ur individual views from what is legit and lawful. thank u. |

HeyCorleone: Funny.
Stopping internet fraud is hard.
I don't support it but what are niggas to do?
The structure of the country is not one that allows legit hustle.
If it was a country like the US or Canada or Switzerland that they are deliberating such issue, it'd be more reasonable. Not here where Jobs are not provided and the environment to create a job is absent. An idle mind becomes the devil's workshop.
Internet Fraud is only normal in a condition like this. Boys should be left alone. Okay they should quit Yahoo and do what?
The system should be fixed first. It is not the system sir.. why is it so widespread among Nigerians. I mean Nigeria is not the only tough place to live in. Other people have not embraced this crime like the way we hav done. This criminals should be gotten rid of like the vermin they are.. cos their activities affect every other person that is trying to hustle the legit way. The damage they do to society can’t be quantified. Let’s not even go into the number of people that hav lost their lives as a result of their activities. God help us in this country |

Nigeria is a country that has no moral compass, everybody will cheat you at the slightest opportunity, a real Hobbesian state, weak institutions, weak laws, corruption and inpunity, EKEDC cut my light at lawanson and still came wit a ridiculous bill and another disconnection notice.. anything and everything goes.. my agent withheld my deposit for another flat, I can’t find redress except I do it in the jungle way(bribe some uniformed men and roughen the criminal up). Yahoo boys and thieving politicians are celebrated, lecturers go after female students and demand for bribe, pastors and Imams spend the congregants contribution, civil servants won’t serve you until you part with money, Perennial fuel scarcity at Yuletide, our political system is a joke and our votes don’t count. I can’t and I will not raise my children in this geographical entity. I am a Canadian PR and I bless the Canadian govt for giving me a chance to find my way in a system that works. Nigeria stinks while less than 2% of the population live in luxury. |

sheikshegetto: It took me a while getting over my bruised pride, I made sure I was going to let them know I don’t give a hoot about them the next time they showed up, return their cold greetings with ice block greetings of my own and ignored them until they were gone.
One weekend, Karen told me about a pool party a friend of hers was hosting, because of a certain memory about the last pool party I went to, I bid her farewell and hope she had a good time.
“What do you mean, have a good time? Boy you’re coming with me.” She said with a finality that bordered on no further arguments.
Sometimes I don’t know if I had to remind her that my mother was still hale and hearty and her postion wasn’t vacant to be bossing me about. I’m a grown man who need not do what he doesn’t want to do so I agreed to go with her to the party not because I want to but because she made me….grown man in a relationship my ass. Have y'all ever been to a party of law students? On a normal day, yunno those folks can be proud to a point of annoyance cos I don’t know whether it’s the fact that they believed themselves superior to the other departments or the black and white attires they strut around in that makes them look like casket undertakers to me. But believe it or not, the ajebutter law students from private unis are the worst and I was unfortunate to be accompanying my ajebutter law student girlfriend to a party full of them…Irony Ayee!! Like the classic Karen that she was, she waltz into the party already in full swing getting the attention she craved as everyone’s eye’s followed her in as she held on to my arms like a queen in court…what a drama queen.
In the blink of an eye we were soon swamped by her friends and admirers. Jude strolled over, as sleek and immaculate as ever(the tall bastard) both Precious and Valerie hanging on his arms. He recognized me on the spot with a mild nod of his ororo oiled head, and a raised eyebrow to acknowledge how different I look compared to the first time meeting. His companions on the other hand must have attached my look to the pap filled pot bellied mongrel they saw a few weeks before cos they did not know who I was. 1 Like |
