Kaduna has a dual carriageway linking it with Abuja....as well as a direct rail link.

Minna on the other hand is a single lane road after you turn off at Dikko.(Got lots of beautiful scenery along the way though).

The consideration should be safety, cost and time, so why go the long route if not for political consideration and if they are sincere with the time duration six weeks is just a little less than two months. Minna should be the best bet if they mean well. Minna is relatively safe and fewer police men and other secuirty will be needed to man the area unlike the deadly terrain of the Kaduna area, where you have boko, herdsmen, bubu's almajiri followers and angry shites members ready at the slightest promoting to unleash terror.

Govt should have no interest whatsoever in the proposed airline, rather NACA and all the regulating authorities must be strengthened to function effectively, government should create a conducive and enabling environment for airlines to operate successfully.
I bet you govt 3% involvement is all that is needed to frustrate the management of the airline. Just point to one project govt of Nigeria has ever sustained successfully. After the project is completed and inaugurated once time for maintenance comes in govt bureaucracy sets in and then what you get is a systematic degradation until final and total collapse.

This shows these guys have not done a thorough research into the challenges bedeviling this our country. Since you cannot change the people the way out is to change the play pattern. Govt must. begin to hands off business that are for revenue generation purposes. I am there now for the holiday for your info.

It seems alot of our youths in this country need to be educated adequately about this abroad mentality. Some of them are under the illusion that living abroad is the answer to all their problems, some believe the good life can only be found there. Well let me start be informing them that life is not and never a bed of roses.

Alot of people living abroad work like slaves, they earn wages like labourers hourly. Some the kind of jobs they do abroad they will never dare to do it in nigeria all because of pounds sterling and dollars. Some work in cold rooms from morning to night and later on they come down with various cold related ailments. Some work as glorified houseboys and girls they call themselves care giver, personal care manager etc. Some work as agbero/bouncers they call themselves security officers. Some work two different jobs no sleep for the son of man all to pay bills, some are paying debts for the rest of their lives, but they lie to the people at home. They will pose inside snow, pose near brand new cars which some of them dont own, speak fake phonetics wear cold jacket to show they have arrived in the land of cold. Just to create an imagination in the mind of those at home.

Truth is when we make our country better nobody needs to subject him or herself to the harsh conditions of living of immigrants in London, Spain,US, Germany etc they are second class citizens, no matter what you know or do there is a cap to your rise in the organization. Not to talk of the extreme cold weather and they know it that our skins texture was never designed to withstand that type of weather , no wonder most of them who leave here normally come down with arthritis, pneumonia, chest problems, ear, nose and throat infections. Are Dangote trucks the only trucks on Nigerian roads how come in every three trucks related accidents that often consume lives at least two are associated with Dangote trucks. Now I am wondering upon all the graduate drivers and the fact that the accidents have become one too many, it would be expected that the trend will be on the decline at least some penalties and sanctions ought to have been put in place.

Then if those trucks are obsolete and not proper;y maintained which I suspect because they are kinda uncommon, they are not the usual MAN diesel, or DAF, or MACK rather they are china made trucks with more than 22 tyres and if anything to go by I am certain those truck have no local support trained staff and business must go on because here money matters before human lives.

In normal societies those trucks will be suspended on our roads to allow the appropriate authorities to investigate the root cause of these truck accidents that unsually involve Dangote trucks but here no way as far it is the untouchables. In civilised countries can a truck of the same company be killing people anyhow at will without calling for immediate investigation. Even if they are transporting human heads or arms no police man dare stop and search those trucks, thats how bad it is. As usual our normal way is to pray, may god continue to guide us and save us, nothing can be done and nothing will be done, yet there will be more dangote truck accidents. I have been watching this governor closely and he comes across as a show man rather than an action governor, putting his picture on all ankara he wears, painting his lips and parting his hair, moving like some robot etc, meanwhile happenings in the state are systematically swept under the carpet where his his ranking officers are fingered the Chidinma case is one that one has been buried and the names mentioned tactically exonerated. If the governor does not stop and correct this either by paying the people the difference in cash or retrieving this bags and giving them the correct one then this is corruption at its peak because someone obviously has short changed the people and pocketed the balance of the 25kg rice originally promised.
Anyway I am not from the state but as a concerned citizen I think the people should demand their right.
