Blessgerald:Hello Sis, i pray God will surprise you pleasantly this time around. though I had a fresh cycle, apart from the drugs i took i made sure to keep my feet warm from ER and all through the 2ww, I ate warm/hot meals and avoided cold drinks i was majorly on bed rest during this period, though i didn't have a choice cos i was battling ohss for most part but above all it was prayers and God. I couldn't stand the no bathing after ET so i took my warm bath as usual, watched alot of comedy movies/videos and kept myself happy and in a relaxed mood all through the 2ww, spoke to all my reproductive organs to work together for conception and pregnancy including all the drugs and injections too. I continued all my prenatal supplements (Vit E 400iu 2ce daily, Omega 3 Fish oil 1000mg 3ce daily, Osteocare 1tab 2ce daily and pregnacare original, i stopped Coq10 100mg 2ce daily few days after ET) I have no idea on endo scratch and for prednisone, i started at ET 10mg 2ce daily and starting weaning at 9weeks to stop at 10weeks If you are still using same hospital, pls ask them for breakdown of the entire process from start to finish including drugs/injections so you can know if anything is out of place this time around and raise alarm if need be. Pls no surprises this time around. Better still it is not too late to transfer your embies to another trusted hospital ooo All the best Sis. |
Azaebere:Hey my sis from way back, thank you ma'm. How far na, how is it going, how have you been? longest time |
sugarcoatted:congratulations sis, nothing will cut your joy short. From what i know, trans-vag.inal can pick up just the yolk sac and gestational sac at 5 weeks and from 6-8 weeks heartbeat can be seen, most Dr's like to wait until the hbt can be detected so as to not get the mum unnecessarily worried. Another way is to check beta hcg level, don't worry just relax and follow ur Dr's advise everything will be fine by God's grace |
Mandela89:congratulations sis, healthy and happy bumping to you. |
Tripletwins222:Hello Ma'm, have you tried COq10? I tried this with my dh one month and it greatly improved overall SFA parameters. He was taking 100mg daily, i incorporated a lot of walnut - asala and banana as snacks for him also with tigernut, coconut & dates drink i prepare myself and his entire parameters improved, though there was really nothing wrong initially just wanted the entire count to increase which happened Above all, back it up with prayers. |
Expectantmom:Sweetie, just keep praying it remains that way, shey you read how TeamApril mamas are complaining about nausea? Happily embrace the no symptoms ooo, cos the symptoms/nausea can be frustrating when it hits Even me wey no get serious symptoms didn't find it funny at some point Healthy and happy bumping to you |
Graciousgirl20:Hello Ma'm, please see your Dr, mine is not intense and not all over my body, it's just mainly my legs and occasionally my upper arm I noticed it happens after bathing so i had to stop bathing with sponge and also stopped washing my legs with soap or even rubbing it during bath time i also only dab water off with my towel otherwise if i drag the towel over my legs it starts to itch badly and nothing stops it, no cream, oil or even diluted ACV stops until it runs it course. Please see a Dr don't wait until the normal 12weeks for antenatal registration |
Vwoman200:if not that Dr's/govt hospitals are on strike i would have suggested you go to one, though process maybe slow but you will get affordable care there. Most private hospital consultation is usually around that amount 10k - 30k depending on location of hospital In addition to the ewedu therapy you should include cabbage in your diet too, some lactating mamas use this to stop/reduce their milk supply. I am not a Dr oo, just my 5 kobo advise, Your LH is also high which corroborates the low P4 i.e annovulation and may also mean PCOS, for natural remedies, i will advise you try PCOS diet and if you are on the heavy side, try loose some weight also. These will take at least 3 months b4 you see changes oo. All the best, may God surprise you pleasantly and soonest also. |
Blendy77:Thank you ma'm, mine is actually not once a day, i guess different protocol |
MummyNeto:Oh great, thank you for your response |
Loisemm2:Thank you Sis ehugs |
Omojudy:Got it |
Blendy77:Thank you ma’m, did you stop gradually or at once? |
Omojudy:Thanks ma'm Yes, i guess diff hospital with their protocol mine says to stop at 10weeks, just want to know if mamas stopped at once or weaned off their medication. My clinic said to stop at once, but concerned about developing reaction to stopping cold turkey. |
Expectantmom:I have responded with my alternate email ma |
Hello Mama's good morning to everyone, Please i have an urgent question concerning progynova, i was told to stop at 10weeks and scared to stop cold turkey, but this drug is showing me shege i intended to stop gradually i.e weaning myself off it but i just want to feel better also. beautyuche:Hello Sis, hope all is well with you & Baby, and hope you gone for your week 8 scan and baby is doing fine. What did your Dr say about the low does aspirin? We shall carry to term in Jesus Name, no loss nothing missing or broken by God's grace. |
Expectantmom:It's hard to say but mostly yes for unexplained infertility where everything seems fine or where there is ovulatory issue that can be assisted with stimulation also some not so serious spe.rm issues it is just few steps better than regular inter-cos, sp.er.m is washed, concetrated, cervix is by-passed with timed/super-ovulation. It is way -way easier and simpler than IVF and cheaper. I got a bfp on my 1st try and some other mama's i know on TTC thread, but 3 cycles after the 1st were all bfn, my advise is to give it a try if you are suitable for it before going on to more complex procedures. All the best |
Goldenheart002:Oh good you have no cramps, it is well with you sis just rest well, everything will be fine. Hope you will have follow up appointment? i think mine too was that manual suction can't really remember |

It is well with you Sis, pls rest well and take care of yourself, I didn't do sitz bath after the evacuation though I used hot water bottle cos I was cramping seriously to relive the cramps was given antibiotics and pain relief which helped. You are coming back very soon with double for all this trouble Hugs and kisses |
Slizzords:it is HCG test i.e pregnancy test and the result is positive i.e very pregnant ( that's a dye stealer sef) congratulations |
Glorioussugar:Hello Sis, don't ever think such thought about yourself, never ever go that far because of a passing phase and please stop putting so much pressure on yourself and hubby. There is more to this life than children ooo, take it from someone that has waited 7 years and done all the doable. Please relax, i know it is easier said than done but pls, pls and pls take a deep breath and relax, stop putting so much pressure on yourself and hubby, the psychological effect won't help which i think is what your DH is experiencing, pressure won't help anything my darling sis talking from experience. pls free your mind, BFP will definitely come but don't let your relationship and chemistry between your hubby get affected while waiting. I would rather you change your focus from getting a bfp now and instead focus on spending good, quality, special and memorable time with hubby b4 he leaves which is very crucial and more important, remember without your DH u can't achieve bfp alone so you need him to be in right frame of mind without pressure and u also. God will surprise you sooner than you expect |

Hello mama, how are you doing longtime ![]() |
Lagbenjo:Hello Sis don't be afraid of surgery, if the Dr advised surgery for the cyst better to have surgery and get rid of the cyst on time, except you are sure other treatment can get rid of it effectively or if you don't trust your Dr. get another opinion Leaving the cyst will make it continue to grow and still taking fertility medication will just make the cyst worse which can eventually affect the ovary just like the Dr said. Removing the cyst does not mean removing the ovary completely, i had ovarian cystectomy + myomectomy and trust me the cyst was huge, the Dr was able to save the ovarian tissue to give the ovary a chance to work again but at least i am free from the cyst and i got to move on to other treatment. Just find a good Dr that knows his onions that will be concerned and empathic enough to give you the best treatment. |
shawrygal:This high bilirubin/jaundice is so common these days, mums i follow on insta all had babies with Jaundice and they followed below which helped clear it within days, trust hospital is giving phototherapy well, just feed baby as often as possible so baby can poo frequently. The great physician Himself will lay hands on baby, weldone mama COPIED https://www.caringforkids.cps.ca/handouts/pregnancy-and-babies/jaundice_in_newborns#:~:text=How%20can%20I%20prevent%20jaundice,needs%20to%20process%20the%20bilirubin. Feeding often will make your baby pass more stool. The milk also gives your baby’s liver the energy it needs to process the bilirubin. Your baby’s stool should turn from dark green to yellow. If you are having trouble breastfeeding, it is important to get help. It might be necessary to offer your baby supplementary feeds of formula to avoid dehydration and to keep the jaundice from getting worse |
