i was the one that asked my doc if i can go for it after the insemination, he said if i can afford it i can, i started using it, had used for for some days but something happened When j used it yesterday, after like few minutes,
I felt a wumbiling noise and force movement like kpum in my lower part of my stomach, infact the thought of it disturbed my sleep last, I think I will stop on it for now, was just using it as precaution of Pcos cos it has been years back i had low progesterone but it built back and I had conceived naturally but lost it at 3 month, I think I will stop the cyclogest for now cos I am scared of using it since that incidence last nyt.

Don't worry i don't think it is something you should worry about it, i would say don't stop it unless you check your p4 level 1st but also it good to trust you instincts.

It depends on your P4 level if it is low, some Dr will ask you to commence immediately after insemination, if p4 level is okay you may not be asked to use it except you start spotting or there is a need for it

My 1st iui bfp cycle i was not placed on it, 2nd cycle i was placed on 200mg cyclogest daily just as a precaution but it ended in bfn. The explanation is that for iui since it is very similar to a natural cycle and there is no retrieval of follicles from the ovaries, the ovaries still retain parts that will produce p4 naturally to support pregnancy except in cases where one have low level of p4 naturally.

Hello Mama, anti malaria drugs are not just given or taken anyhow during pregnancy as some can pose great risk to your baby.

I had concerns about it and asked my Dr seriously before i was convinced about taking it. My Dr's explanation is that anti malaria drugs is different from malaria preventive drugs which is the routine one given in pregnancy not the regular malaria drugs used for treatment of malaria when you already have it.

The Malaria preventive drug is given anytime from 16weeks upwards not before to ensure you are in 2nd tri and after you must have started feeling your baby i.e quickening, so pls discuss with your Dr. If you have started ANC your Dr will keep asking if you have started feeling your baby move it is because they want to know best time to give you malaria prophylaxis medication, at least this was what happened in my case, if by 20weeks you still don't feel your baby maybe due to anterior placenta, they will definitely give you the malaria prophylaxis then.

Whatever you do, don't self medicate pls.

I'm not taking duphaston but the cyclogest is supplemented with twice weekly progesterone injection.

Thanks sis. I'm definitely working with my doc. Was given 11 weeks. I'm somewhat scared of that time frame, that's why I'm asking questions for my peace of mind.

Don't be scared sis, P4 is usually administered until the placenta forms and has taken over production of P4 which is usually from 9weeks/10weeks, but for your own rest of mind you can continue it until 12weeks - 14weeks, i am sure your Dr won't be bothered if you decide to continue, just discuss with him/her. Are you taking Duphaston also?

don't know about whatsapp group, i think one exists.

I didn't have a mock transfer, infact i did a fresh transfer, but heard mock is good if you can afford it, helps to know how you'd react and serves as a guide for main transfer.

The other day i was jisting Expectantmom about the nightmare i had that i almost woke up in tears, since my bfp i can say i have only slept 2 nights without having a nightmare. If i worry or watch horror movie, i will have a dream/nightmare version of it, these days i don't even bother

You can imagine now adding vigilante of 2hrs -3hrs to this , but i am not complaining oo i am romancing my package like that atleast its better than some other packages like MS, spitting, tiredness etc

for the cyclogest i stopped once, cos the tabs i was given was calculated to finish when i clocked 13weeks. Duphaston i weaned off it. You can discuss with your Dr also

Thanks for your input, it is actually for IUI he didn't add any other drug just letrozole.

Pls discuss with your Dr, I had 4 iui's and never went beyond 5 days on letro, though I only had one cycle of it and I have never heard anyone take beyond 5 days. Other mama's will add their input too

I had to google the use of letro for 10days and it is an actual practice which yields good result when compared to the short-5days protocol for iui. I am sure your Dr has prescribed this as your peculiar/personalized treatment. Don't fright sis, just trust everything will work together for your good and you will testify this cycle. Don't give up yet or conclude your Dr prescribed wrong dosage, I was just never placed on 10days protocol. read below for more information about it.

Please I want to know the right dosage for letrozole, I have gone through the thread but what I'm seeing is different from what my Dr. Prescribed for me; he prescribed 2.5mg 1x2 daily for 9days from CD 2 to CD 10.
Mamas that have used letrozole before please come and help me out.

Hello Sis, dosage is usually for 5 days maybe reconfirm from ur Dr and know why he/she wants u to take for 10days, sometimes other injectables are even continued after 5th day on let.r if it is iui, but reconfirm and ask questions till you are clear

Babes, don't stop taking your antibiotics oo otherwise you may build resistance to it and also run the risk of getting your wounds infected if you don't complete your dose, it is best you see your Dr asap, delay can be dangerous or at least see a correct pharmacist around you. You can't take a decision about your health based on internet opinion.

Please a quick question:
I had a surgery about a week plus and I have exhausted the drugs given. Didn't want to get new ones cos I am not just comfortable taking those plenty drugs especially because of the something something growing inside me I know some drugs isn't good for Early stage.

When I went for the dressing today they saw purse abi what's the spelling which isn't good. And they tried removing the fluid. so the nurse wrote drugs for me to buy which the nurse assured me won't affect my something something. Plus most times I can't sleep at night due to the pain but I am scared of using drugs.

My problem is, my husband asked if I showed the doctor the names of the drugs so she can assure me it's not harmful to me because of my condition and I lied and I said yes.
Please here are the names:

Tab Augmentin (branded)
Tab Chymoral
Tab vitamin C bottle own.
Tab flagyl 400mg.

I hope I am good to go with them? Cos honestly I want the best for me and the something something presently in my incubator.. I rather endure the pain than take in anything harmful.

reminds me of when i was given augmentin when i developed ohss during 2nd week after embryo transfer, lol when the nurse gave me and i saw aug... i just changed it for her straight, me that was silently praying the spotting i saw the day before was due to implantation, the Dr had to explain and even threaten that he would remove the drain before i agreed to take it.
