Some people don't just understand or believe ttc is real and not a respecter of anyone.

They just assume it is something you have control over, like deciding to read a book or not.

Some people don't have emotional intelligence and maturity to handle such delicate matters, they feel bad for having to rejoice about their baby or something you don't have, and don't know how you would react or won't want to make you feel bad, so they keep the news away from you not to hurt you, and not because they believe you are evil or irrelevant.

For someone like me, when I share some news, attimes something just goes wrongs, so I have learnt to keep quiet and let my situation announce itself and I may not discuss a situation until we find ourselves in that line of conversation, So you may think I intentionally don't want to share something information ifmeanwhile we are not close meanwhile it's not true, just trying not to "jinx" the good news.

If a close friend decides not to share a news with me, I will respect that and know there most be another reason rather than the intention to hurt me, and maybe I have not been a good friend anyways, or the news is not a big deal to them as much as it is to me. who knows, for me I will either call to congratulate them or not acknowledge and save the little money I have. In this Buhari times sef, no time for anyhow spending.

But in all some people are just pure evil and fulich, so you leave them on their lane

I agree, Clomid makes most people ovulate later than usual, for everytime i took it, my cycle days increased at least by 2days up to 5 days. also the cyst is not an issue like your sis said, the ruptured follicle that produced the fertilized egg usually increases in size produces an hormone that supports the preggy in 1st few weeks and dissolves on its own once the placenta is fully functional.

I watched this online in my days of fantasizing and mesmerizing about hearing a babys' heartbeat

Just stay hydrated, don't stress yourself, be positive, definitely see a Dr and above all be prayerful. Wishing you a healthy, ms free bumping and easy peasy delivery at the appointed time.

What I do is 1st kpekus after AF I initiate it and make sure it is very very wonderful my excuse is that I have missed it, but at the back of my mind I know once I am able to do a good job that 1st "welcome back" time, dh will be the one chasing me for the next 1 week which by then it is around ovulation time and I am extra sezxy too just to carry on the mood so it is a win-win for us both and no pressure.

You better woman up and don't go and be showing yoursef, let that raking and anger end so you can get some good kpekus.

Down to moi-moi wrap business

Make sure to wash your leaves with water and foam sponge,
Those leaves go through alot before finally getting to you
and some usually have black tiny spot stuck on the surface
I always make sure to scrub them off while cleaning

Sort and separate them into 2 batches of Large and smaller leaves
For the smaller leaves try and strip off part of the stalk at the middle to make the leaves flexible while bending
careful not to rip the leaves

Making MOI-MOI Wraps/Cones
Leaf 1- Large leaves
Leaf 2- Smaller leaves

Select one of both leaf 1 & leaf 2

Place Leaf 1 vertically ( Tip pointing up, large base/stalk down)
Place Leaf 2 horizontally on top of Leaf 1

Once in that position, roll both leaves together from one end like you want to make a cone (like paper cone those groundnut sellers use those days )
The stalk in the middle of leaf 1 is the center/focal point for rolling the leaves together

Then fold the pointy cone head to the back about 1" to 1.5" to secure it
Make sure your cone is very cony and rolled well

Pour in your moi-moi content
Fold and overlap the top to close up the leaf
(I had to invest in a NGN300 scoop to pour the content, less messy unlike using a cup)

Note - the shiny side of the leaf is the outer part, the dull part is where your moi-moi is poured into and cooked
Also, i don't use the cut off stalk from the leaves for my pot base
It just makes it very messy for me
I use my microwave grill, and turn it upside down
Matter of preference and aesthetics

The first wrapped moi-moi is very essential
and must be strategically placed in the pot
this will form the base/stand for other wrapped moi-moi (atleast that's what i do)
*First moi-moi, most times = sacrificial moi-moi*

Never place your wrapped moi-moi head first
or Flat inside the pot
Placing it flat makes it is easier for it to unravel and spill the content
First wrap is placed inside by the side
almost standing upright and leaning on the side of the pot or leg of grill


You can place some leaves upright as base in the pot
then fold it to cover all your moi-moi once you finish arranging inside the pot
this makes pouring water into the pot easier
without getting into the wrapped moi-moi

I hope you find this useful,

Of what i mean by wrapping from top and not bottom
and making a Cone

I have tried to learn that moimoi leaf tying online but I couldn't do it. It was so messy, I got angry and used my nylon je je. There is an aluminium plate some people said it's safe to use.

It can be frustrating i tell you, but don't give up, continue trying it often and you would be a pro in no time.

Most people wrap from the bottom part, i roll/wrap from the top/side to make my cone
I use 2 leaves per moi-moi wrap, not in the conventional way but across each other like a + sign with horizontal leaf close to the bottom not middle

one thing i noticed about my cycle since this year is that i do have different symptoms from after ovulation to af.
from my last cycle i noticed IMMEDIATELY after ovulation my breasts are tender and painful....please, is it still the hormonal imbalance playing with me? the thing weak me o.

Hello babes,

it is normal, those symptons after ovulation before AF is called Pre-Menstrual Syndrome -PMS and it is more common than you may think, except you have done hormonal profile/assay physical symptons are not enough to diagonise hormonal imbalance.

the reason most women feel the symptons is becos of the different hormones at work. before Ovul. estrogen alongside other hormones rules that duration but after Ovul. progesterone becomes high preparing for pregnancy and continues to increase in pregnancy which is why PMS and preggy symptons are alike, but if no bfp, it goes down, the symptons go too, then AF, then estrogen picks up again and the cycle starts all over a gain it is always cycling over and over again, makes sense why it is called the menstral cycle
