abokis go back to your duty post
even most of u are ghost workers
we the ibos they here they make our pay
i pity those ibos in Lagos coz after the strike no money for them but the yaribas are mostly govt workers and will get paid for the strike even.
naija people no they lazy. get back to work.
Jonathan is really working coz right here in anambra we are already celebrating 4 weeks of uninterrupted power supply, onitsha to be precise.
the truth is that ones there can be steady power the removal of subsidy in PMS will affect us little coz most companies run on diesel and some big companies even generate their own electricity
i dey vex if i dey see aboki dey protest too coz them no get oil
if aboki are to protest then they should ask IBB for all the money he swallowed on gulf war
Jonathan we are right behind you

@Lasinoh

That is why all these Nigerian men that have been stuck abroad(especially in that UK of a place) for donkey years do not make responsible husbands. After chopping oyinbo congo and anus for too long. . . you can never keep them at home. Always on the streets. God forbid. So many of them on this NL and on FaceBook. Thank God say person don marry. Twa!

No wonder many of them are dying like flies. . .from poisoning and insurance collected on their arzzzes by these oyinbo women. If you try that for this USA . . . hunger go just kill you. No 'MAN-U' or "Arsenal" rubbish here. God bless the USA

Romance / Re: Pissed Off Ex by toyemz(f): 2:43am On Jan 10, 2012
@Msdarkskin

he might actually need her help for real but like i said she is right to keep her money to herself. it's her hard earned paper we are talking about PLUS an entire ocean between the two of them (distance). but like i told her she shouldn't be upset if he says "deuces!" instead she should brush her shoulders off and keep it moving too. the signs are there for her to read and like i said it doesn't mean he is a scammer but obviously neither of them are in the position to do for the other so it's obvious they are not meant to be, at least not now.

Lol
That's another way of looking at the situation
but I would say the hurdle of being oceans apart was one the Op was willing to overcome
i honestly cant even feel that whiff from the Lagos guy, I get the feeling more that he was gleefully singing oh lucky day,the day they clicked!

common the guy no sabi lie sef,what with all the strikes going on
i honestly think that no body has resumed work in Lagos, maybe later on sha( who knows)
and if he was real he wont be asking for a set sum for living expenses,he would just ask for whatever she could spare

him trying to garner maximum sympathy didn't help either and not being funny if ( like he said ) he really had 2300,000 to pay for a 3 year lease,then he would have chicken change to help cope with the living expenses
my two euros just
Romance / Re: Pissed Off Ex by toyemz(f): 1:58am On Jan 10, 2012
@OK2NV

seriously why would one big fool sit in Lagos and come up with this kind of stupid lie?

and why does he have to dump her because he couldn't get the money from her, that indicates that it was always all about the money!

If her being ugly is hurting you you at this point, then all i can perceive emanating from you is the fear of being exposed for who you are

As for me I beg her not to send money to that Arrow he is just another user
Romance / Re: Pissed Off Ex by toyemz(f): 1:52am On Jan 10, 2012
@op

looks like you 've got the proper thinking cap on

well here's my little bit:

Today my Nigerian boyfriend just dumped me! I am just tripping because it is all over money. So here is what happened. He lost his job over the Holiday because he was not able to report back to work on the correct day. The reason he gave me is he was confused about the date he was supposed to return. Subsequently he has to find another living quarters which cost him 2300.00 for a 3 year lease. This lease took most of his money, so he went to begging me to send him money of 500.00 to help him with living expenses. I am not stingy but I have a couple of problems with his request

In that paragraph alone, there are 3 major lies
=Him losing his job, just because he returned to work late, he would  have been served a disciplinary letter, or if it were that serious suspended while investigations were going on
-he paid 2300.00 for a 3 year lease in Lagos really?
he is begging for money and asking for 500 dollars,such a greedy beggar

well here goes,
the fact that he is so willing to dump you just because you refused to send him the money should only prove to you that that is what he ever wanted in you and also he likely has some one else on the go that he is feeding the same lies to
don't send him the money ,once you start he is going to feed  you with more sympathy stories and may directly  or indirectly ask you for money

on the other hand ,tell him you will send him the money and then don't just count the number of phones calls he will make to you

my sister don't be fooled. This guy is one of the notorious jobless scrammers that litter cyber cafes in Lagosls don't be deceived

Politics / Re: Boko Haram's Threat:massob Directs Igbos To Remain In The North;says'dont Panic" by toyemz(f): 3:11am On Jan 04, 2012
@

Yoruba was never a target until Igbo started masquerading as Yoruba. We know Igbos that went got Yoruba face mark to avoid Hausa nmassacre. When Hausa found out and it became difficult to identify who was who they made a blanket decision to kill every Southerner.

whoa
that statement has got to be one of the dumbest statement ever!
Really and you know the Hausa that well?

chill my brothers chill with the Hausa you are either are or you are not
the Yoruba got a fairer deal cos there are a lot of yoruba muslims living in the north,They go to mosque together
The ibos didn't because most of them are Christians
unfortunately whatever the cause of whatever uprising there will be in the north,it will always steam down to this factor
Politics / Re: A Protester Killed By Police In Ilorin by toyemz(f): 2:52am On Jan 04, 2012
@Leomax

Subsidy removal is in order. It has come to stay, the funds will be used for some other things instead of enriching few and providing cheap fuel to neighboring countries.

if you really really believe in that
pray what has happened to all the other public funds our great country has acquired over the years?!!

you should hide your head in shame, this shouldn't even be a debate.
If our leaders had one element of sense in them, fuel in Nigeria shouldn't even be an issue
but with every other thing in life depending on fuel it has now become the core of existence in my country

sure let them remove the fuel subsidy but only after the government has restored proper electricity,proper roads and stuff like they promised
then come get mouth remove subsidy ,but until then this is the total element of greed setting in

May his soul rest in peace

The shame of it all

The police force could not mobilise to deal with 'boko haram'
they are all strength and power to deal with armless protesters!
My joy knew no boundary when i heard that the boko harams were dealing with the Nigerian police
somehow that surge has died down
my prayer here,since the police have no shame on how to deal with a peaceful demonstration
may they receive many more bombings too

@randyorton

i am not surprised. shame to you ,girls. all ya do is chop from men of different sizes and colours without using your brain to think of the consequences of such silly act. We watch u girls mess yourselves up in school only for u girls to hope to have it all rosy in later in your marriages .look up the meaning of `karma`. the irony of it all is that they mess themselves in our presence and then turn to us for love when they are tired of their silly act

I wanted to call you a goat,but then i realised that goats have some brain
so instead i will call you the sheep,not the ram oh
but the sheep who when they use stick and wave one way they turn and when they wave in another direction they turn with out thinking
so you are a sheep

this is one very sad situation that no one wants to be in
every angle you look at is filled with pain
and hatred
but all that matters now are the kids,not only what they feel now,but what they will feel in the future
even if the courts decide in favour of the man's family, the kids may not want to see them
real sad situation
i hope God just dullens the pain as time goes on that will enable other angles to be looked at (amen)
