Please don't let any of your siblings study any of the aforementioned courses in this era, they are better rewriting JAMB or learning digital skills than going to higher institution to waste time and resources, and if by mistake you allow them study any of these outdated generic courses, then prepare to support them with learning trade or starting a small scale business after graduation.

Some courses ought to be scraped in Nigeria. NUC/NBTE and Ministry of Education ought to revisit our tertiary education curriculum and remove a lot of outdated courses from there and replace them with current trends that can produce graduates that will solve current global challenges.

what did you study in the university, fine arts is a practical course that made me a successful man , I have friends who are doing great in fine arts as well do u know what is in fine arts at all?

It will soon reach Ogun and Ondo, if not the Army, because you control it, bandits will show you shege. Keep rejoicing.

What do you people want for God sake. Army kills innocent people in SE you rejoice, now Army are killing innocent people in SS, you are rejoicing. This says a lot about your tribe.

Sometimes u people should do this tribal war with sense, the military comprises indigenes of all states and tribes in Nigeria, delta has their own sons and daughters in the army

All those mentioning me, are you trying to say men don't practice bestiality? Then why the unecessary defense when it is common knowledge that men sleep with animals?

Ask yourself how much the vcs paid to have a degree

quote author=Faiththatworks post=127996266]Although I'm a supporter of good Education for all Nigerians,I believe there's a point we must get to as a nation and stop the pretense.
How can a University student be paying 30000 per month as tuition fee and expect quality education.
That's trying to behave like the Ostrich who sticks it's head in the sand and believes he's invincible,we must stop the pretense that's there's no problem in the Funding of Public Universities in Nigeria.
We must start to look for solutions on how to solve this issues, Asiwaju should as a matter of urgency, start the students loan programme before the end of the month.
I also suggest Universities stop this notorious exhortation of students through sundry subheads like Departmental fees, Hospital fees, Accommodation and other unnecessary expenses on the students.
God bless Nigeria.[/quote]

God bless my Igbo neigbours. Nobody is telling them to go back to their villages. Nobody is destroying their Establishment or demolishing their Houses under the pretence that they did not abide by the building plans.

Our Igbo brothers are the true Definition of one Nigeria when such does not exist in the minds of those who hate & jealous them.

God bless all Igbos anywhere they are & give my SS people the wisdom to know who their real brothers & enemies are

Zik lived in the West/Lagos but he never lived in Edo.

Zik's grandmother told him the history of Ezechima, their Benin ancestor. The same way someone whose great great great great parents migrated to America centuries back would be told the family story. I believe everyone is best placed to tell own family story.

But it won't make them authorities on other tribes, unless they spent their lives objectively and scientifically researching the subject.
a lot of historical findings did that,go through history of Africa arts and besides a whole lot of my friends from Benin answer to yoruba names like adeoye, adsewu, Omo etc

Career / Re: Why Do Majority Of Us End Up Not Practicing What We Studied In The University? by toyinid78: 4:21am On Oct 12, 2023
I see a lot of write up saying we studied what cannot be used in Nigeria, in between the lines we studied where the lecturers are not practically good ,

Let's take zoology for example in Nigeria a zoologist can end up employing people, if the individual is creative , why do run abroad and want to work there? You think the government actually provides jobs naaaa the individual over there will create a job and make it work, a zoologist can starts to have a shop as an office here and create mini zoos for secondary schools.

Get some African animals that are cage able and design a small zoo for schools, get your phone and audio device make documentary videos , make short clips of small animals, or interesting animals and post on TikTok, YouTube, Facebook etc and monetize it, sell your contents to digital tv stations.

I have seen Chinese people selling houses that a year salary can buy, we have people who graduated as architects in Nigeria yet they are busy looking for a job and a quack that just learn it from the roadsides rides nice car n work as an architect because he goes to building sites to hunt for jobs.

Land is dirt cheap in the sadwaste. With 500k you can buy land in any of their rusted roof slum cities. But how many of them can afford 10 million to buy just one plot in the Eastern cities?

Their problem is largely poverty mixed with ignorance.
and those buying land at 10 million naira in the east are going to carry the land to heaven, if Igbos are all billionaires, the land won't be available For a Yoruba man to buy , una just like to stress una self , if you reach 100 years and die will your grand children carry the land to heaven as well
