you people must be moving with some hard core hookers, to make this kind of assumption about most ladies. abeg carry ya frustrations go- whose fault is it that you can only relate to professional bouncers. That's your personal problem. Like attracts like. You cant put a square peg in a round hole, so you should definitely date someone like yourself. yeye thread. am out jo. ![]() |
hmmm. see everyone stating their views about this issue calmly and without rancor. I almost thought I was on some oyibo site. The beautiful days are gone. anyway, I only recently became aware Nigeria and south Africa have turned to competitors even though one is in west Africa and the other is at the extreme end of the continent. na wa. |

4shyzzy:People were made aware of what was going on in South Africa through the international media, and it helped end aparthied. Now because you migrated to the place and are enjoying the benefits of freedom which the international media and Nigerian journalists made possible, you're suddenly shouting you are in south Africa and others are not. Doubtless, the state sponsored Zimbabwe media will be saying the same when outsiders want a clear view of whats happening. So which media do you turn to for news about Nigeria? The south African one? Keep yelling south Africa there. Anyway, you say you're Nigerian- what is new. Plenty of people like you on this forum. As soon as your leg land for outside naija, una go love the foreign country more than the indigenes wey una meet there. Na today? You are in south Africa yet the riots still caught you by surprise. And instead of complaining to your south African government, you're here lambasting Nigeria as if Nigeria is in south Africa. your view is a myopic one. You must have never heard of the frog in boiling water. It wont jump out if the pot is heated up slowly but will stay there until its scalded to death. The very fact that you're vehemently discrediting other news sources apart from the south African ones, itself shows a high level of bias, and given south africa's history, as well as your extremist stance, I think outside news sources are better placed to access the situation. - what do you know about apartheid? Nada! Don't come and preach to me about apartheid when you haven't experienced it first hand. Let me guess, you probably got this from a textbook written by someone who's never had to be subjected to this shameful period! Or was it Nigerpedia?na wa for people oh. So anyone who wasnt living in south Africa during apartheid, shouldnt talk about it. Were you yourself there? This your village mentality is amazing. Reminds me of mpele. Are you his wife? @4shizzy - international means outside your country, obviously these journalists deserve their awards based on their international experience, not reporting scandal that cause malicious damage to young minds like yours.see yourself. from 4shizzy - I DO NOT SUPPORT the barbaric behaviour exhibited here, though I wish you'd see the kind of people who ARE disparaging the country, UNEDUCATED, UNEXPOSED, IGNORANT, and who can blame them? This my friend are the fruits of apartheid. It's been 14 years and it'll take another 300 years before these people see other africans for who they are. These are the masses who never had an opportunity to go to school, interact with other africans but only brainwashed by the spirit of violence. Trust me, violence is what they know, that's how they were brought up and that's what they believe it will take to be heard. And poverty my fellow african will drive you to do anything, through violence (especially if you are under those living conditions). It doesn't even help to blast them here, because guess what, they have no access to the internet, and won't know what the internet is. You can scream all you want here, however they aren't hearing you! But let me guess, you knew this because you've lived here all or most of your life.look, don't come here preaching to me about south Africa. I don't live there, I don't care what they do with themselves. My major concern is for the people I know who reside in the place. And hopefully they will find their way out of that jungle ASAP. Likewise the other immigrants who are being targetted. One day the situation will turn around and the ones running their mouths anyhow because they think they've got it made, will be the ones begging the people they cussed out, for assistance. Be nice to people on your way up- you'll meet them again on your way down. South Africa isnt supposed to be a permanent residence anyway. If not for condition wey bend crayfish, why should people like you be opening mouth to worship south Africa while abusing Nigeria. As if the south Africans themselves arent looking down on you while you consider yourself lucky to be there. from 4shiizy - you don't know me dude, so you can not make unfounded statements. this is the kind of attitude i'm writing about and i'm against. Don't make statements or judge when you don't have the full and correct information. how would you know things are falling apart when you are rolling in new zealand? You are so misled dude!once again, see yourself. Your own attitude is so arrogant simply because you consider yourself lucky to be in south Africa. ![]() na wa. Wetin else I go talk. Brainwashing is not good. - you are so bloody ignorant, this obviously comes from a very educated lady who obviously have been exposed to quite a lot of information. Though I pity her because it is newspapers like DAILY SUN that perpetuate this kind of inhumane act as this is the only newspaper that the poor and uneducated masses read. If you knew this, you wouldn’t even make your blinded comments. Mind you this is the only cheapest newspaper they can afford and the reported stories are unfounded, ficticious and promote ingorance. And the newspaper sells like hotcake in the townships/squatter camps/mkhuku (where most nigerians don't live). She herself is blasiting at the wrong avenue, because THEY would not hear her! I don't read this newspaper and I would suggest you don't as well. You cannot believe anything that is printed on it as sure enough stories are made up, hence I provided a list of online newspapers that you can rely on for information. By the way, this is the kind of reporting I have seen from newspapers in nigeriannews.com. I may be ignorant myself, and I now plead with you to please provide me with reputable online newspapers,I no talk am? No sense arguing with brainwashed people. You're here trying to force your views down people's throats- telling them what to read and what not to read. You make me wonder if south Africa is not actually a police state, with questionable freedoms and suspicious media. abeg you've turned into oreo cookie- black outside and whatever color inside. Them get plenty color and flavor now, not only white one. http://graphics.iparenting.com/attachedpics/oreos.jpg Like I mentioned before, there are educated illiterates and semi literates in abundance here. Reasoning with some people is a waste of time and accomplishes nothing beyond dragging the person down to your level. Anyway, don't let me disturb your prayer meeting. Typical Nigerian attitude. They will be praying and abusing with the same mouth. One immediately after the other. In fact I join you in praying for south Africans to accept you as one of them and not mistake you for a foreigner, Mozambican, Zimbabwean, Mozambican or malawian. God no go gree that one oh.

|
who is applying using Jennifer Lopez' picture? Who are you fooling? if na jessica Alba or beyonce photo them for no catch you. wise up abeg. |
There are those who think (even though they may or may not be Nigerian) that all Nigerians are loud stupid, criminal idiots and deserve whatever maltreatment they get at home or abroad.first and foremost we need to change our attitude towards Nigeria. The degree of bitterness people have towards Africa in general and Nigeria in particular is evidence of the self destructive tendency which is pulling the continent down. Western countries report shocking stories of themselves everyday on the news, yet you'll be hard pressed to find indigenes of those countries loudly blasting and cursing their countries the same way many Nigerians do. If bad news is reported about Nigeria, some Nigerians will rejoice and use it to justify their attitude. If good news is reported about the country, some will mourn and either disparage it or attack the source. And its all so self defeating. For example, the naysayers will shout and scream about how bad Nigeria is. yet some south African was pointing out that Nigerians have an annoying reputation for shouting, in their country. As if no one in their own country shouts, but thats another matter. The fact is even the most vocal anti-Nigerian Nigerian is still displaying the same traits he is condemning about Nigeria. So how does that make sense? Una don turn to anti-Semite Semite. And how will anything get done if we are busy yelling for change but at the same time waiting to condemn any move in any direction whenever it concerns the country. Misdirected activism. ![]() |
she has apologized. End of story. |
4shyzzy:but what makes you objective and others subjective? The south African media was also there during apartheid, helping propagate the status quo. Apartheid ended barely 15 years ago. So what exactly makes their media more reliable than others? Did they suddenly develop perfection overnight? With your attitude, even if you hear of a Nigerian journalist who also won international awards or a Nigerian newspaper which is internationally recognized, you'll still disparage them because " they are Nigerian". South Africans will see you the way you see yourself. Disparaging your country wont make them respect you more. And you sound just as xenophobic as the mobs themselves. I fear for that country oh. Things are falling apart in the twinkling of an eye. here's another quote from the South African lady who isnt blinded by xenophobic patriotism. And she's actually from South Africa. No nation is bereft of crime and by the same token, no nationality is bereft of criminals. It is true that some bad seeds who have emigrated into South Africa have criminal elements but while publications like Daily Sun do much to fuel xenophobic feeling among South Africans with headlines such as ‘Mozambicans kill Lucky Dube’, ‘Zimbabweans in shoot out with Police’ the majority of criminals, as the South African jail population will attest, are South Africans. |

this 4shyzzy:in response to this: SENATOR JD:hmmmmmmmmmm. Are you sure you want to take this route, 4shhyyzz. look at what you posted here: I am saddened by this situation because I am married to a South African and I have made South Africa my home, I pay taxes here and employ South Africans but this incident has reminded me that I am a Nigerian and will never be welcome here.why are you directing your anger at senator JD instead of the South Africans who arent accepting you? You're bitter at Nigeria, you're bitter at South Africa, na wa. I wont even bother commenting on your personal greivances with Nigerian journalists and blind worship of south African newspapers, here. |
but you can't deny that girls get bashed and called all sorts of names when they talk about sex, even in threads that ask for their contributions
that could be true. Though guys do get bashed as well. Some of the stuff in sexuality section sometimes sounds so juvenile to me, as if the posters are Hot teenagers with time on their hands ( like the one looking for mammy water), and I only visit the section occasionally anyway. |
interesting topic. People have different values and are free to live however they want, but some threads are just so stupid. Posts like Is it ok to sleep with my stepmother (why not ask your father instead of nairaland), can a father sleep with his daughter, can a mother sleep with her son, i want to bang someone's pregnant wife and remove the baby, etc etc, deserve all the bashing they receive. shio. besides, posters can get attacked for various reasons, not only because of sexuality. One of the longest threads here is the one about the guy who can't meet girls that match his intelligent. Or whatever it was he said. |
@ topic: it may be harder on you than on him at the end of the day. Women are the ones who tend to get burned the most by these kinds of things. A man will find it easier to dust himself off and walk away. He can easily do the same thing with countless other women and still have no intention of letting it interfere with his married life. its not yet a physical affair but its gearing towards an emotional affair. |
@mpele: Zukiswa Wanner expresses shock at current affairs in her motherland.this is the way a human being is supposed to talk. Someone with human values not baboon ones like you. |
Mpele:please go and eat. am begging you. your not being pitch black has more to do with malnourishment. maybe you can hunt some hippos and baboons for food, as them plenty for your backyard. you really should ask some Nigerians to cook you muscle building foods like we have at home. You definitely need some eba, fufu and pounded yam in your tiny stomach. what a pity. |
OsunAmazon:kobojunkie has stated many times that he didnt attend college. Therefore, to him, college isnt important. "Why should Nigerians/Blacks get a pat on the back @ kobojunkie But why should Nigeria get a pat on the back when majority are here, to get away from Nigerian and to a better life for themselves in their familiesdo you see how you are begging the question. Nigerians are bettering themselves by getting an education in order to improve their lives, and you still complain. Is the topic about the reasons Nigerians travel abroad, or about their achievements while there. You need help with your defeatist mentality. Before anyone even tries to colonize you, you are already down prostrating in agreement. Even other races would shake their heads at you in private if not in public, if they hear these things you say. You are undermining yourself. @ kobojunkie How does sending yet anothing book to a library help heal Nigeria?? honest question"Nigeria" is not a person, okay.Every country is made up of individuals. The books in libraries are read by people, not countries. Dont know if I'm wasting my time here. |
@mpele Go to hell you jeolous, inferior, filthy, barbaric, saveges, bastards.I dont see how you consider yourself sane, going by some of your posts here. Your picture only confirmed my suspicion that you've got a lot of things wrong with your brain. |
arent "coloreds" suopposed to be more educated than black SAs How the hell does a person not know the difference between a hyena and a baboon?
I think he said he is "white". In his case, that means brainwashed confusion. If his attitude is common to other black South Africans, is it any wonder the government didnt bother getting them educated. Since they're so proud of being ignorant. This one would probably burn down the school and attack the teachers anyway. Who'd hang around to educate someone like that. Since when do baboons look like hyenas? Even The Lion King which every little child knows about, makes a clear distinction between hyenas and baboons. And to think the music in the movie is even south African. barbarism is self defeating, for real. |
Lol @ tpia ![]() He does look like those Niger child beggars in Lagos that grab on to your lefg when all you want to buy is Ovation. However if one were to wash those ones up and get them dressed, they'd be very handsome and presentable./ Mpele however is a lost cause.
he really does look like them. Of course crack has compounded his problem. I guess his Chicago cousins didnt tell him to say no to drugs. |
how should one even begin to educate this human cricket called mpele. By his own admission he has no education and is a stark illiterate who knows nothing about Africa or indeed any other part of the world. He only knows his own backyard which is a thick jungle crawling with hippos, man eating lions and knobkerry wielding imbeciles. Posting a picture of some other African from his village and calling her Nigerian. Mpele, my advice to you is first of all get something to eat so you can stop looking like a scarecrow and more like a human being. If I were in South Africa I'd definitely think you are a refugee. Even the refugees look better than you. As it is, the picture is making me wonder if you're even in south africa as you say, or somehow typing from a former war zone. You seem malnourished and I wish you could get some food in your cranky behind. As a matter of fact, you remind me of those beggars who used to roam the streets of lagos. I could have sworn you look familiar like I've seen you on some street corner before. Are you sure you're not one of them, and its your general frustration at your situation which you're pouring out on Nairaland. @mpele isn't this beautiful. Baboons leaving with people!you're so stupid. do those animals look like the baboons you live with? Those are hyenas and a monkey, numbskull. They dont have picture books where you come from? And that is a performing troupe, idiot. Look it up in the dictionary. And your slums in south africa are far worse than anything I've ever seen in Nigeria. So whatever negative picture you have of Nigeria, your own country can surpass 100 times. |
e only remain make dem put Naija men inside laboratory for detailed study on the thing wey dey hypnotize women for them face. ![]() |
na wa o! see hippo chasing a human being in broad daylight! that place must be like a giant zoo, for real. No wonder one hears frequent stories of lions and allsorts eating human beings over there. And no wonder they have so many people such as this mpele acting like animals! Animal mentality! |
@ OP: sweetie, you are the one making yourself feel inferior. I guess wallowing in self pity makes you feel good. See as im mouth suddenly tripled in size. wetin person no go see for this Nairaland. na today? [s]did somebody call themselves handsome on this thread[/s]? ![]() |
Kobojunkie:you are quite right. many of your own posts prove what you're saying here. |
she said he's also afraid of relations coming to visit. maybe they're draining his salary. He could be experiencing a financial crisis at the moment and find himself unable to help them like before. |
mpele! mpele! mpele!!!! please remove that picture you posted up there in your profile!!! it's giving me the nasties!!!!!!!!! I really don't see anything special about what you posted there, that is making you run your mouth anyhow when even a proper white person will show more commonsense and better manners!!!!!!! You aint all that, abeg!!!!!!!! The photo dey scare me sef!!!!!!!!!! Go to Nigeria- I'm sure you've already heard the people there look good and have self confidence, which was why you were originally drooling about the Nigerian babes you want to meet if you ever visit!!!!!!! What's so special about you, for crying out loud! abeg comot for road make person hear better thing!!!!!!! ganja dey worry you!!!!!!! This is why brainwashing is bad!!!!!!!!!! Dem don brainwash ya life!!!!!!! ![]() |
minto:the fact that you said you've never lied since you were born, will bring your credibility into question. Even assuming its true. |
Kenyan Foreign Minister Moses Wetangula told reporters that the problems in South Africa were all the more surprising given the country's struggle with apartheid. |
with the way the economy is going, I myself am developing a money spending phobia. Please try to work with your husband within reason. The people phobia may be related to the money phobia. |
sorry o. |

.She is a feminist to the core and also very sensitive to comments. If I'll have to be taken up on whatever opinion I expressed on whatever thread, I want that restricted to nairaland but involving her might make some unnecessary arguement spill into my home or so I think.
