abeg kobojunkie take life easy. try to take things less serious. Whether you like Nigeria or not, is really irrelevant to most people beyond just irritating others on the internet. ![]() Loosen up and check out other forums as well. There is tech, math,tv, music, movies, food, properties, etc. No be only politics dey here. All work no play makes jack a dull boy/girl.Am just saying this because you seem like you want to bust an artery or something over Nigerians asking for better treatment. ![]() reminds me of Oliver Twist. |
so sad. ![]() |
Kobojunkie:so what's your idea of a legit complaint? I thought you feel Nigerians always cry wolf when they have no right to do so. |
Kobojunkie:your problem is beyond me. God help you find a solution. Why even relate with Nigerians at all, since you dislike the country so much. ![]() |
kobojunkie, why must you always go into a frenzy whenever you want to bash Nigeria. Yes, I have flown BA before. Dont know why people are assuming they're the only ones who have ever been on that airline? Yes, some of you people are so traumatized by whatever you experienced in Nigeria, that your thinking has become extremely weird and you don't even realize it. How can people hate their own country the way you do, and are even proud to boast about the low esteem you have for your own people. Gosh- if that's not permanent trauma then I don't know what is. See how Kobojunkie is screaming over this issue of Nigerians demanding better treatment. Chei!!!! I could write volumes here but I don't want to spend time arguing with folks who are determined to turn their inheritance into a wasteland, for reasons best known to them. Kobojunkie, I'm not even convinced you're Nigerian, so keep talking as you like. ![]() texazzpete: I dont think you and some others get the point here. The issue is much broader than whether you were treated like prince Charles on one of your flights via BA. |
see as peeps just dey display others folks pix for here as if say na them own. titosamtin carry latino picture, ilemobade attach another one as well. na so overconfidence dey expose person. ![]() @OP- if you're shaking with fear at the thought of visiting Nigeria, then why do you still want to go? ![]() |
anyway, next time terrorists or suicide bombers want to hijack a BA flight, all they have to do is look out for a diversion like this one, then make their move. While Nigerians and BA officials are slugging it out over the level of animosity in someone's tone, the ever ready terrorists can seize the moment since all eyes and attention will be on the BA/Nigeria duel. |
na by force to love person? the lady isnt feeling you. Maybe she's in love with someone else. try to see her point of view sha. What if she were the one calling you all the time when you dont feel like it. |
what kind of advice do you need nah? If you want to take her back, fine. ![]() If you decide not to overlook the fact that she cheated on you, got pregnant and had an abortion, then let her be and move on. It doesnt mean you should be bitter at her, though you have every right to be. But you don't have to continue with the relationship. Am just saying all this because I could be wrong but you seem like a laidback kind of fellow, going by your post. Most guys wont agonize about whether they should dump this kind of person or not. They'll just do it on the spot. Chalk it down to life experience. Everyone has to pass through one trial or another at some point in time. Forgiving her doesnt mean you have to take her back. Things can never be the same as they were before. |
something of an age difference there. but whatever rocks their boat. if they arent complaining then neither am I. ![]() Some guys like older women. Even real life naija guys. |
@ kaecy hello guysdon't you think the current negative publicity they're getting may have contributed to the improved service you noticed? This is what happens when some people register their concern at substandard treatment- the majority benefit from it, because it forces corporations to review their services and delivery methods. It doesnt mean folks have to get violent- there are various legal ways to voice your displeasure at something, and vocal opinion is one of them. Boycott is another. I don't know why so many people want to give others a free hand to trample on them anyhow. ![]() If whites/Europeans can boycott a company and actively protest over something like an organization polluting the environment, inhumane treatment of lab animals or some other such stuff, why is it so hard for us to grasp this kind of concept? I say we've been traumatized. ![]() |
leave. I can't be wasting my time with him when I need to find someone better. ![]() whether na joke or na true, I no get time for some overblown crayfish. |
@ topic: I dont know what this woman was thinking trying to dare Arabs. Is she totally out of touch with current news and the middle eastern conflicts? If they have no problem shooting down fellow middle easterners, why would they make her an exception? Am sure she knows better now. That's a lesson learned by fire. |
thank God for His mercies. Good luck to the family and thanks Hantayo for your efforts to reunite father and son Only a couple more unanswered questions: why does Emeka snr look Ghanaian if he is Nigerian. Which part of Nigeria does he come from. At least which state. ![]() |
eldee:I think the main point in this red passport wahala is there's a difference between being a British citizen and actually No, its not the same. interesting thread. Been lmao here. I had to run and check the 4some one as well. haha. naija get plenty ![]() |
by the way, Mr Poster, you told us what your American wives/girlfriends did to you, but you havent yet informed people of how Nigerian/black women did you bad. I'm all ears jare. Lets hear about these nasty Nigerian women. ![]() what brought about this phobia. Picture yourself on a nairaland couch, and let it roll. |
@ OP a Queenish product abeg wetin be Queenish product? ![]() na so our people dey flabbergast English for Her Majesty oh ![]() |
iice:those roommates were all freaks in the fullest sense of the word. The comedy was probably a farce of some sort. The humor isnt the kind I appreciate, and it nearly ruined the entire movie for me. But there were some good moments. I also dont want to start talking about the dialogue here. Though I should have known what to expect from the director of The 40 Year old Virgin. I didnt like that too much either. |
na ewa agoyin una dey yab like this? ![]() abeg that's something I must eat anytime I'm in Nigeria. I even tried cooking it myself when I was in Lagos, and I think I did a pretty good job. Ewa Agoyin is a Togolese or Beninois, not Nigerian food. Its like a kind of creamy mashed beans served with a very spicy pepper sauce. Quite delicious. Also sold mainly/only in Lagos, I guess. abeg arnold, stop picking on sheniqua. Most people here have occasionally said controversial things at one time or the other. Word dey stick to person? thresa8 is someone who never posts unless s/he has negative info on other tribes. Likewise many others. |
I also wondered how someone can know who a newborn baby looks like. Maybe the baby was 100% white, with no trace of blackness at all. I've also never in my life heard of a woman refusing to come home from the maternity ward. Some naija guys don suffer in the name of marrying other nationality sha. Mr. Poster, this your phobia of black women doesnt seem to be working well for you, since its not like you're getting anything better in the female line. And do you also have a phobia of your female relatives? Seriously, I think this problem might be a psychological one. because if that's you in your picture, then I don't get it. ![]() 4him has really put everything in a nutshell here. This ya story don pass go, for real. |
Viante:I just finished watching it today. Good movie. Would have been better without so much R rated stuff like the gay references, and so on, but I still enjoyed it. Just know its very R rated and you might get some unpleasant shocks if like me, you were expecting a simple straightforward movie about someone getting knocked up. Well, I still enjoyed 300 in spite of similar issues, so whatever. I think the producer intentionally added some of the dialogue for shock value. The birth scene isnt for the faint hearted either. ![]() |
Sometimes last week, I got a call from downstairs and when i went there, who did i see but the father of my child. I wanted to leave but he held onto me, begging me to forgive him. i told him he almost ruined my life. h told me he had gotten married and that his wife was yet to give him a child, and that in his village, there was a title or something that was to be given to him, and since he had no child, the title was being withdrawn from him and was to be gven to someone else. I told him to get lost and that i had long since aborted the pregnancy, but he told me no, that he knew that i had the baby, and that he had seen me with her one evening when i went to the supermarket. i told him to get lost and i had to end up telling the security men to take him out when things were getting heated.does he need the child because he wants a chieftancy title and not even because his wife is yet to conceive ![]() From your story, I gather the child is 5 years old or so. There's still plenty of time for his wife to have her own baby. personally, if na me o, I'd just move elsewhere when the guy's wahala became too much. He doesnt sound serious at all. This is why some women remarry ASAP after all this kind of stress. At least the deadbeat wont insist on gragra if he sees another man in the house. |
everyone I know says Calabar. |
I can barely make head or tail of the original post. |
the top three are #2,6 and 5. In that order. # 5 more for the figure not necessarily the face. They all look nice though. |
I didnt know the guy was short, but what kind of plastic surgery can make someone taller, by the way. anyway, he should take heart. Even Hollywood has short stars like Tom Cruise. Olu Maintain should date beautiful tall ladies, since he wont have any problem getting them, being famous and all. na today? |
na wa. I was wondering why this Sheniqua sounds Nigerian, then I checked her posts and realized who she was. |
when I lived a "risky" area ages ago. There were a lot of winos/junkies hanging around the street corners maybe near their next fix or whatever. I never bothered checking. There was this really huge guy who hung around there as well. I worked late nights and usually these people never bothered me on my way home, but one night I was walking home around 1.00am from the bus stop, and the huge guy suddenly decided to trail me to my apartment. He told me so. I've never been so scared in my life. Strangely, there was no one else around at that particular time. I'd started wondering if that was the day I was to meet my maker, or worse. I began thinking about my mother, siblings and family in general and wondering how they'd take the news. I yelled at this guy to stop following me, but the drunkie insisted oh. I walked faster and so did he. I was about to start running when a woman appeared out of nowhere and yelled at him to leave me alone. The man then stopped and I got away from him. I swear I don't know how I got to my apartment that day. My legs were like rubber. See me see prayer oh. |
dinozzo:thanks. I'll check the sites out. and yes, the pop ups are very annoying. |
