cute kids. ![]() where is Inky who started the thread? ![]() |
baby mother is baby mother. I dont see how drama or issues can be avoided here. Even if the baby mother wants the guy back, well, they have a child together, and no sane woman would attempt to come between a man and his own child. if the guy assures you nothing is going on between them for now, then until he proves otherwise, you just have to trust him, since there's really little else you can do. Some guys will stray regardless. Whether they have baby mamas or not. At this point, I really dont see any quick solution to the problem. Just make sure you enquire about the child's welfare and wish him/her well. Send get well cards, gifts, whatever. ![]() Since people have many reasons for breaking up in the first place, his baby mama could occupy a very ambiguous position in his emotions. Its hard to tell. |
@ nuzo: you seem to have some racial issues here. ![]() rephrase your questions in a less hostile manner, if possible. How you're reading all this racial tension into my statements is amazing. check my posts on the thread below. Are you also finding some imaginary racial stuff there? https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?topic=128562.msg2197814#msg2197814 |

@ topic: there's nothing wrong with taking a break occasionally, from relationships. Planning to stay single forever, however, is a different thing entirely. Not really advisable, unless the person has no other choice.[s]Though there are some people ( mainly oyibo) who decide to remain unmarried forever.[/s] Sometimes people need time to heal, or just reevaluate themselves. And the ideal partner can come into your life when you're not even actively looking for one. relationship wahala can be very stressful sometimes, even when things are rosy. ![]() by the way,I hope its not all this tuface & co, as well as some of the nairaland posters who are busy abusing the women who did them bad, that are scaring you into the idea of staying single. ![]() |
even if the guy is ugly he will still have no problem getting ladies. ![]() His date is far better looking than him in any case. |
http://lindaikeji..com/2007/04/naija-gossip_25.html notice how she sounds here. I'm not reading anti-marriage in her comments: http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n288/bellanaija/lola.jpg click to enlarge <<sigh>> yes, she's so beautiful, but sometimes beauty, like brains, isnt always an asset in relationships, especially where naija girls/guys are concerned. ![]() |
Richie Rich collection-harvey comics classics volume. |
she's actually six years older than peter. Some people don't care about this kind of age difference. Madonna is also 10 years older than her husband. If Peter had a problem with it, then he really shouldnt have dated her in the first place. Or vice versa. ![]() these guys just impregnating girls all over the place and then refusing to marry them. I don't know, but I think there are consequences when a man does that. They don't go scotfree, from what I heard. There's too much sadness and heartache involved. I think its worse when the girl has been led to believe the man will marry her and then he suddenly changes his mind after she's taken in. |

@topic: toast ugly girls. No need to sweat. |
interesting. |

big thumbs up to deb here, for the airbrushing and other effects. ![]() The OP's first three pictures scared me. ![]() Anyone can be pretty or ugly depending on the photographer. Or the makeup artist. |

Zaria17:lordy lordy!!!!!!!! ![]() am speechless. could this be his dad? ![]() |
OMO IBO:for where? abeg comot my name from that observation. as it is I'm hoping the child can at least resemble the mother and not the father. ![]() |
saucekid- you again? hmmm. The joke section was here before sam milla became moderator. After he became moderator, he and his group attempted to start some kind of apartheid system where people were told to remain in other sections and not come here. Was that why he was made a moderator- to keep the jokes section only for himself and his buddies? People were posting and interacting before he and his friends started using his position as moderator to threaten others. On this page alone for example, sam would have deleted lightest's posts and commended saucekid's. He would also have accused anyone responding to an insult from saucekid, of being a troublemaker. Whether he stays or goes is irrelevant to me, really. But people should understand that personal sentiment should not blind you to the point of antagonism towards others- especially when you are a moderator. ![]() |
Emad:I think she's conditioning her mind to accept the fact that Peter doesnt want to propose. There was another interview some years ago, where she talked about the possibility of them marrying. Peter himself sounded okay with the idea, back then. This is just sad. ![]() i still cant understand why she even dated the guy in the first place. |
he looks a little stuck up. The girl seems more approachable. why do some girls always go for guys who are clearly a mismatch? |
@ topic: the men are refusing to marry. true talk! ![]() examples include tuface and psquare as representatives of countless others who believe in baby mamas but not marriage. not to mention various threads here on nairaland where girls are complaining about their boyfriends marrying late or postponing marriage. once again, true talk!!! ![]() |
this is why generalizations are sometimes off base. Even in high school back home we'd give each other flowers for Valentines Day. Hibiscus, harmattan lily, daisies, flame of the forest etc, are all flowers I knew in Nigeria. People planting flowers and shrubs around their homes. I'm always amazed by these kind of threads. maybe the brain drain changed a lot of things. ![]() |
Lola is biracial. Her mom is white. I knew she was pregnant the first time I saw this picture. The breasts and the way she looks. She seems tired and I wouldnt be surprised if thats either a big baby or she's carrying twins. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-128017.0.html I don't even know if I should feel happy or sad for her. To the best of my knowledge, she's mainly dated Naija guys, and I'm not sure why. Most of these people wont appreciate her. Dont know why she stayed in the country either, really. Its not like she has no other choice. oh well. I wish her and her baby the best, but I wish things could have been different as regards her partner. I think she may have given up on naija guys and marriage. ![]() |
not sure he could handle it. It got to the stage where he was threatening people and his friends were doing the same. I mean, what's with that? ![]() they also formed some kind of caucus and tried to run out anyone who wasnt in their group. |
@ topic: the problem here is whats the incentive that will make your boyfriend marry you after five more years of what he's currently getting for free. Men generally don't reason like women in these matters- he can cheerfully marry someone else after five years, without feeling too bad about it. What are you yourself doing to improve on your progress at this time, or does he see you as still being in the same place with few plans for the future besides marrying him. actually, he sounds like he wants a woman to have long term goals, in my opinion. |
ituen:you also missed it? ![]() hmmm, whats wrong with the mail. |
ituen:you're quite right. |
SAM MILLA:I really do think you need to get out more. And maybe read up on conflict resolution. And public relations. << shakes head>> its not about offending anyone, so no need to apologise. its about how you're coming across to others. ![]() see the smilies? Its all joy from my end. |
sam milla, for the love of mike, show me where I have attacked you here. Why are you this paranoid- can someone not talk to you without you considering it an attack. The other day you walked into the middle of an all out fight started by your friend saucekid, and immediately began blaming others for saucekid's nastiness and general rudeness without provocation. He was mainly fighting himself though, since others he was attacking tried to keep a cool head. Today I simply made a comment about your using italics- it seems like you're whispering, and you say I'm attacking you. Why on earth are you so sensitive? after you say you've made a gazillion posts here and yet you consider every little thing an attack.na wa for you. Are there any behavioral guidelines for the moderators at all, or is it just open season where some of you are concerned. |
SAM MILLA:so you interpreted my post to mean I'm afraid of you. sheesh, no wonder we're having issues. We're obviously not communicating. I need to work on my diction. << shrugs>> |
