enough of the talk about whatever conditions bred militancy.
it's getting stale.
anybody wanting to breed militancy can do so even if they live in buckingham palace or the white house.
it's about your nature, not necessarily your condition, and i for one am tired of these excuses found in different parts of nigeria.
always looking for a way to justify lawlessness and anarchy.
get some home training already.
if these bombings are in any way tied to some useless rituals and juju somewhere, then the perpetrators will never know peace and will end up the same way as their victims.

cap28: And your point is
Are you so dumb that you can't see that Jonathan is part of Nigeria's ruling elite and therefore has absolutely no connection whatsoever with MEND. So, in your book because Jonathan is from the Niger Delta he will automatically have an allegiance to MEND - how dumb?
The nigerian elite make up just 1 % of the nigerian population but they are enjoying 95% of the wealth of the country, they are not only from the north there are some southern traitors in that group too and Jonathan is one of them so wake up and stop deceiving yourself into thinking that because he is from the niger delta he has some sort of hidden allegiance with MEND. keep fooling yourself since the truth is bitter!! |

Jarus: I know you are not olodo, but your brain fails you this time around. Wasn't it clear enough from the article that, if anything, the pastors account of YRD's condition was the first I trusted, having been dismissing all prior press accounts as exaggerated. I gave kudos to the pastors for saying the actual condition they met YRD, while advising Turai that she needed to act fast and toe the path of honour. But to you, I must not mention anything/anybody Christian. The earlier you shed that mindset, the better for you Madam. paranoia. and show me any thread you opened about yaradua's health prior to his visit with those pastors. you really have no point here. Jarus: While every other person secularly analysing the issues I raised, the only thing you forced yourself to see was where I mentioned Pastors. Tell me you didn't read that piece, like any other post I make, with a bigotic mindset. This was glaring to even the only poster after you that asked you why you can be that cynical. you are more bigoted than anyone you point fingers at. fact. it's a part of you which you cant escape or wish away. |

Really brother, understanding the need for revolution and a country's history and geo-location is necessary here.
- China have undergone several stages of revolution/rebellion since the early 1900's (1911/1949 are only a couple of the major ones) - India also underwent its own stages of revolution
--Also, there are rebel groups in China and India that still fight the government ---As far as geo-location goes, look at Saudi Arabia, one of the reasons most citizens choose not to revolt against The Kingdom's structure and manner of government is based on neighboring countries waiting on their downfall/weakness,
What happened in Nigeria today is sad but many will see it as a necessary evil. i said INTERNAL revolution. yes, the internal reference was necessary because i knew somebody would quickly start attacking their keyboard with blah blah blah about preindependence revolutions in both countries. without stopping first to consider the fact that almost EVERY country at some point in time has gotten independence from one foreign overlord or the other. so stop for a couple of minutes and see if you can get my point before rushing to reply. i repeat- india and china turned their situation around through their intelligence. i do not have time to go into saudi arabia with you. |

Jonathan Goodluck, the ONLY Nigerian president to break Nigeria's 35-year electrical blackout, thanks to Musa Yaradua who laid the groundwork and foundation of everything jonathan is claiming credit for now. by lighting up more of the Nigerian nation than any leader in living memory, has accrued enough genuine, nationwide goodwill, to ASSURE the mold-breaking incumbent a sweeping electoral victory in the next presidential polls @ bolded in your dreams perhaps. things like this are the reason why i say the nigerian break up is on the horizon. the signs are glaringly obvious to anyone who can see them. |

MaziUche0: Nigerian military is not going against another army like they did against Biafra. It is hard to fight organization such as these since they can blend in with the population and have no fixed location. This is any military's nightmare. it's people like you who stay safely hidden while others listen to your bad advice and blindly leap to their deaths. |

No contradiction. . . Odi destroyed, you did not see huge outrage. People mother and daughters were r-aped by Nigerian soldiers and people say nothing. why was odi dealt with? can you answer that before crying louder than the bereaved. wicked nigerians just suddenly woke up one morning and decided to attack defenceless villagers, abi. una lucky una no still dey under british or other colonials. you'd have known the meaning of wiped out. |

jayprof: -I am not in support of MEND or their acts, neither am i in support of the unjust oppression in Nigeria, I sit right here on the sideline and all i see is a big revolution coming on. Sooner or later, the people will cry "enough!", take to the streets with arms in hand and demand what's theirs be given to them. Its the general course of nature, we as humans get fed up of constant abuse (several countries in the middle east are proof to that fact at present).
- As for the quote, here's the full thing:
"Yet where does this anarchy exist? Where did it ever exist, except in the single instance of Massachusetts? And can history produce an instance of a rebellion so honourably conducted? I say nothing of it's motives. They were founded in ignorance, not wickedness. God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. And what country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure."
Be the judge! the fact of the matter remains some nigerians will always be miserable no matter what. end of. It's a state of mind and even if your village becomes paradise you will still find a way to make it hell. china and india are still waiting for their own internal revolution till date. They turned their situation around through intelligence, not by bombing themselves s.tupidly. |

Really sad!!! There's the good, the bad and yet to come, the very ugly outcome in the course my country is taking.
# Hmmm, a wise man once said:
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants, "
If by the mere force of numbers a majority (Nigerian Government & Family) should deprive a minority (everyone else) of any clearly written constitutional right, it might, in a moral point of view, justify revolution - A revolution knocks Nigeria, will you answer without much more costly prices to pay? ---May the souls of the lost ones rest in eternal peace. AMEN stop quoting things you dont understand. did you stop to ask yourself what patriots refers to here? think before you type. let you and MEND be ready to shed your blood for your cause then. havent seen that in your cowardly hideouts so far. |

all the south african booty and rubbishing of nigerian women has helped you in what way?
