eddeux, your gif is out of line.
violence against women is not acceptable, ok?
dont try to justify it with all these lame excuses about someone hitting you first. Defending yourself is quite different from viciously jabbing someone in the face.
if you think you're justified abusing your female partner for whatever reason, having a record of having punched a girl in the face will NOT prevent any police officer from arresting you and throwing your butt in the slammer should your partner decide to press charges.
In nigeria where police dont interfere in such matters, if the woman has strong brothers, they can organize and beat your a$$ to a pulp for manhandling their sister. |

something's wrong if a surgeon is proudly proclaiming herself a herbal healer, and touting a miracle cure for fibroids via her mentholatum or whatever it was she claimed to have used.
if she can submit her "cures" for independent unbiased analysis and clinical trials in a non-naija setting then i'd much rather go with those findings. |

there's north africa and there's south africa.
the main reason why these regions do not go by the general tag "africa" with the attending mindset, is because of the presence of a huge non-black political majority who are native to such places.
fact.
in any case, africa is almost the only continent on earth which is grouped as a single monolithic demographic entity. |

@ angiefan [as usual ] HMV remove Anyone But England gear from stores
Entertainment retailer HMV will no longer stock anti-English World Cup merchandise in its Scottish stores amid fears it could incite racial hatred.
The chain reportedly made the decision following complaints to police from the Campaign for an English Parliament (CEP) and members of the public.
A banner featuring the slogan ABE - Anyone But England - was removed from HMV in Kirkcaldy after a police visit.
A spokesman said it would no longer be "actively promoting" the ABE brand.
In a statement printed on its website, the CEP called the merchandise "insensitive and provocative" and said retailer Debenhams had made similar concessions following a complaint about ABE T-shirts being sold in Welsh stores.
In our view, the shirts are not against England or the English, but simply about some Scottish fans expressing a view that they want any team other than England to win this year's World Cup Spokesman HMV
It said: "During the last world cup, a number of racist attacks were committed in Scotland against English people and anti-English racism remains a problem whether it's a world cup year or not."
The organisation's spokesman Stuart Parr added: "The Campaign for an English Parliament will challenge any company that incites racial hatred towards the English.
"Racism is unacceptable no matter who it is directed against, including English people."
Slanj, the company behind the ABE brand, denied its goods were racist and insisted they should be taken as "tongue-in-cheek football banter".
'Race issue' Manager Ross Lyle said: "They're our local rivals. It's the same as Celtic-Rangers, Liverpool-Everton. It's just football banter and football rivalry.
"On a personal football level, I'm just jealous because Scotland aren't there, so I don't want England to be there either."
An HMV spokesman said: "If we thought the shirts were in any way racist, then we certainly wouldn't have stocked them.
"In our view, the shirts are not against England or the English, but simply about some Scottish fans expressing a view that they want any team other than England to win this year's World Cup.
"It's not a sentiment we agree with, but surely a football fan has a right to express such a view if they choose to.
"This is about the World Cup and should not be turned into a race issue."

Sports › Re: Is France An African/black Team? by tpiah: 3:48pm On Jun 19, 2010 |
the french national team often has a heavy black presence when it comes to football/soccer. The blacks arent always african though. Many are from the carribean.
some years ago, i recall one or more french citizens took exception to that [it was in the news].
however, the french representation in other sports might not be structured the same way [ ie with a heavy black presence].
one has to check.
at the recently concluded eurovision song contest, the musician who represented france, was french congolese. That was the only black artist in the entire competition, i should think. |

You people should be playing adult games in bed with each other and not playing silly mind games i wonder oh. now, after reading the poster's explanation of what really happened, i wonder why the other woman thinks it's ok to text someone with a pet name? Is he her boyfriend? or why are they rolling like that when it's not nairaland where some with up to 3 wives and 2 mistresses [and vice versa] are still scouting for more. While having my bath, she lied to me that she want to call a friend using my phone, she picked the Lady's number. While I was away to work, she called the Lady and started ranting on her. The lady in question is not normal when it comes to things like that, Omo Unilag, She just teard for my wife on the phone, and even told her that now she has drawn the battle line and she will take her husband away from her. most likely her intention from the getgo. Unfortunately, you happened to let your wife see that late night text, and also unfortunately, your wife happens to be the fiery type who wouldnt keep quiet and let her husband philander. |

SEFAGO: women behave differently. Hilary Clinton is a way stronger woman than the average type lol ^^ in a 40 year marriage, i'd think it would take more than rumors of an alleged affair to destabilize things. the timing around the BP oil spill and the drastic fallout from it, figures very strongly in this case. there's obviously going to be a huge financial catastrophe for a lot of people, going by the general mood. http://www.ecorazzi.com/2010/06/08/alec-baldwin-wants-oil-disaster-to-set-example-says-%e2%80%98let-bp-die%e2%80%99/ |

Politics › Re: Al Gore And Tipper Gore To Separate After 40 Years by tpiah: 11:41pm On Jun 18, 2010 |
Such was the case when the news broke that our 62-year-old love-him-and-hate-him former Vice President Al Gore – who had enjoyed a seemingly rock-solid marriage with Tipper Gore for four decades – was being accused of carrying on an extramarital affair with fellow eco-champion and producer An Inconvenient Truth, Laurie David, for the better part of two years.
Both Mr. Gore and Ms. David have denied the gossip, with David’s reportedly legitimate paramour Bart Thorpe claiming that “I know for a fact that Laurie hasn’t seen Al Gore for at least two years—at least” and David herself insisting that the supposed affair is a “total fabrication.”
Gore and his wife officially announced their “mutually supportive” separation on June 1 with friends claiming that it was “not one of those (cheating) situations in any remote way,” several weeks prior to Star magazine’s exclusive revelation which lacks any-and-all backbone, aside from an unnamed insider revealing that “Al and Laurie went from friends to lovers. It couldn’t be avoided.” Harlequin romance novel anyone?
Still, tongues continue to flap…perhaps because the mere suggestion of two eco-warriors walking off into the sunset together would offer a ‘convenient excuse’ to justify the dissolution of yet two more high profile marriages and maybe — just maybe – we’ll still be able to have our happy ending after all. Human psychology is a weird thing, isn’t it?

norrisman: Thanks to all the people who gave sound advise; sweetdoc, roctation, missy B, top up, ayanfemmy, iice
To all the people critisizing me, thanks as well but you wont know where the shoe hurts unless its on your own foot. To the person critisizing me for using love peddlers. I was young and was in high schoool. If you have a boyfriend there is a vey high chance he has used one before and if you are a man yourself, God knows what you have done so get of your high horse.
I spent all of last night reading about Sickle Cell Anemia and couldnt stop crying. I cant understand why anyone has to go through all that, why does anyone have to go through all that? Life is so unfair. I always knew about the disease and even know a few people that have sucumbed to it but I have never had a reason to read deeply about the subject until now and it makes me put life into a better perspective.
From your reponses so far it seems the best option will be to open up to her and tell her the whole truth. I am hoping to find the courage to be able to do that this weekend, if she is strong enough. You guys wont beleive how much I hurt for Shade.
Thanks again to everyone. sharap. you gave the breakdown of your current expenditure on p.rostitutes, you liar. you also mentioned your dream hooker hotels of choice which you plan to visit. ogbontira like you. shade ko, shayo ni. plz spare me the sob story. I have no patience for arrant adulterers who try to pretend they're angels. At least be a man and admit that's your lifestyle, and having affairs isnt new to you. Stop pretending its your "friend" telling you to sleep around. norrisman: I paid N5000 for the services of one of them girls when I went home last year. Thinking about it, in 1994 it cost me N50 and in 2009 the same commodity cost me N5000. Isn’t that a 1000% increase in price? Wow! But even in this business the forces of demand and supply work. I remember picking up a girl on Sanusi Fafunwa at about 4am and phucking her on in my car behind 1004 and only paid her N200. This must have been around the year 2000. I always had it in my head that those girls round that way charged exorbitant amounts but at 4am the chance of finding anyone to take you home is low hence the reason she settled for a quickie for that price in the back of my Peugeot 505.
The most I have ever paid is N5000 and this has only happened on a few occasions when I go back to Nigeria on holiday. Since I moved abroad I have come to realise that N5000 and thereabout is a fair amount for the girls to charge for that essential product especially compared to what their counterparts on the other side of the world charge. I mainly paid an average of N300 when I frequented those seedy joints when I was lived in Nigeria.
Shout out to these hotels I always wanted to visit but never had the balls to; Jolly Friends Hotel, Ikeja Ambassador Hotel, Toyin Street, Ikeja Makosa Hotel, Ikotun |
