Kobojunkie:What's the "assembly of one another". Which do you call the gathering referred as "The church in Sardis, the Church in Philadelphia, The Church in Pergamos and the other four churches? Jesus didn't want us to do anything with that you say? Are you really reading the Bible or something else? |
Kudos to those constituents.....they're the real patriots. |
Kaodek:#50,000 for Malami's response to the court's initial verdict. |
IfIPerishIPeris: ![]() Kai..... |
Algold: ![]() But seriously, I'm working on it. I don't think there's any purpose to life than to be remembered for something positive after one's departure. I may not make much impact but I'll still be trying. |
hayoholla:Would the manufacturers of arms from the Western world fold their hands and see this happen? This is going to be a long thing with so many chain reactions and because of new dynamism in the world, it may be difficult to predict what the outcome of all these would be. |
SlyIg:Yeah... it's good. But isn't it better that we pursue legacies that will survive beyond our generation? I mean, after our generation is gone, who will remember all these? But when we have sound legacies like the great men and women we read about, I think that's better. We should seek that more... |
Let them beautify the marital life like this too and then everything becomes perfect or is it not vanity to have beauty wedding theme and a marriage that crashes in less than 5 years. |
Killing of Muslims... This same hypocrisy we've been engaging in is why killings like that might not end on time. Until we start hearing headlines like "killings of pilgrims or travellers" instead of identifying people by their faith, tribe and political affiliation. The same thing goes with the Western world and it's quest to be rid of racism. We should recognize humans as humans first before thinking of colour, faith, sex etc. |
Killing of Muslims... |
Spirituality is a journey and not a destination and this includes all religions including Christianity. But guess what? In the Christian journey, you're always traveling and that is only when you can have a sign of progress. Static Christianity is dead Christianity because it shows you're not getting revelations from God, inspiration from his Word, insight, experience and newness of the Holy Spirit. I can't advice you to start going to church (The Bible did it already in Hebrews 10:25). What I will keep telling everyone is never to feel they've reached the top in Christianity. There's more and the Bible say "seek and you will find". It's dangerous to feel satisfied (complacent) because your conscience is not pricking you. I once tried and failed woefully. Shalom. |
To me, you're free to get as far as you want to get whether you're a man or a woman. The world is at your feet and you should not be denied of the benefits of being human. However, when we allow privilege for women to override men's freedom, were creating another unequal society. Moreover, if feminism is tearing marriages apart, why don't we restrict feminism to the office space and leave it out of the home instead of creating a toxic world. Which is better, a world where men would gladly give up their rights to honour women or a world where men would be coerced into making women higher than themselves and thereby building up anger and bitterness within? As for marriage, I go by the school of 'whatever rocks your boat'. Shey marriage is the agreement of a man and a woman? Let them choose what's best for them. If I don't like feminism, I go far from feminists and if I like it, I go for them. Don't feel intimidated whether feminism is supported or not. Do your own thing. |
May God comfort them Why is it that most of the natural disasters so far recorded this year were not predicted? What's happening? |
Pierocash:The gun is one of the bandits... |
Of course we know... Yet, instead of the leaders who are mostly from the North to turn the tide around, they revel in their influence and the comfort derived from power. Looting and turning national properties for their own use, depriving northerners of sound and solid mind-transforming education and thereby promoting illiteracy through the vain allurement of their hypocritically practiced religion. I don't think there's any way human mind can be open aside from education and for as long as the doors to educate is being shut in the North, Afghanistan will even surpass them one day, in terms of human development. |
Good Let's see what the outcome would be. Why grant him visa at all if he was to be grilled and denied entry in that manner. Anyway, should we be surprised? A diplomat was heavily dealt with some days ago how much more common citizens. Nigeria is what politicians and commo fraudsters have made it. |
richiemcgold:You didn't read it completely.... ![]() The girl's father who is a police officer mobilized his four colleagues to beat up teachers and school principal because his daughter was scolded. The man and his friends should be sued. |
Flytime:I actually posted that comment because it seems the major tribes in Nigeria (Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa) derive pleasure in projecting personalities to themselves just to prove superiority to other tribes instead of the three of them working to make Nigeria work for them. Affirmatively, I've been receiving insults in my mention which confirms my initial belief. |
Investigative:Sorry.... Ndo... pẹlẹ You should have in your sound mindedness skipped my mention. |
Kriss216:You're a Fulani Abi? Carry your AK-47 and God bless your soul, fall into the hands of the area boys and thugs in the Southwest and you'll see what they'll do with you. |
MMIA was an international airport before Nigeria's independence. So what do they mean by saying that our major airport are not designed. Even if they're not designed as thy claim, six years is enough to fix it. |
Investigative:The question we should be asking is "how does the Igboness of Rihanna translates Igboland into the glory it ought to be? How does it improve the lives of all Igbos suffering in this perilous country?". If we can't answer the questions, it's a waste of time proving or disproving the Igboness of Rihanna. |
RoyalUc:They are afraid of his influence. They know his interference can determine the outcome of Igboho's case. |
WibusJaga:Existentialism says no and especially since there's no absolute morality. |
Understand thou, that in all thy ranting, more people have heard the man's voice than yours. Christianity is an ideology that was never tested but yet condemned. Few are true Christians, many are Churchians. Yet, the bible is complete. The man loves completely and the woman submit totally. There can never be chaos where the two exists. |
The main issue should be marrying when you are really ready to and not when you are deemed mature. If you don't stop the playboy attitude now, you won't stop it later when you get married and hence, you shouldn't derive justification for not marrying because you are a playboy. If for any reason you are not married when even the last kid is married, you must have a genuine, sincere and tangible reason which nobody should downgrade but playboy? You need to work on yourself. |
When the history of the present is visited in the future, we are going to have stories like Fulani herdsmen tried to take over indegenous lands in the Southwest and the Southeast. Groups rose up in the two regions to defend their lands but the greed of the elites among them truncated their efforts. In that future time, the likes of Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu would not only become heroes, they will be revered legends. |
Iamdbull:I believe that if you visit mental gymns more than physical gymns, 'Sapalism' will become more automatic to you than this level. |
Dauraking:The East has sons and daughters in the houses of Assembly. What are doing with their mandates? I think it's time we start questioning our leaders down South. The North knows how to fend for themselves. |
The bible says "where the carcass is, there the vultures gather". No matter how well celebrated you are, the day you fall is the day you'd realize how many enemies you have despite the celebrity status you have. Hence, character counts. Don't drown in accolades and die like Hercules whose status made him forget he had a weakness. |
lkillbrokehoes:Most people who wanna live a low quiet life wouldn't even bother becoming scammers. They scam not only because they want luxuries, but because they want to be 'respected, adored, followed, admired' etc |
