This not a news nau. It actually happened when Steve was about 14 or 15 years. He asked the pastor a question about the Biafran children and he couldn't get a satisfactory answer, then he stopped going to church. Yet, he was into Buddhism as at the time Apple was lifting up. So why is this a news? |
Sincerely something is wrong with us in this country, psychologically I think. We need philosopher kings now. At least, to start the change from top to the bottom. But can this era produce them? |
If Nigerians, especially Nigerian leaders are not more heartless than this, Nigeria would have been a better place and there wouldn't have been a need to know that Lebanese and Arabs are heartless. |
Simplyleo:If they can't account for this, how can they account for $2 trillion? The problem with Nigeria is not lack of sufficient money, it is lack of accountability in governance and wastage of resources. That is why we are still struggling with the meagre amount of money we're running the country with. |
Maxymilliano:You kidding right? America is still "one nation, under God..." |
ChiefSosa:Wawuuu ..una weh done then. I'd rather keep my boxers. |
ChiefSosa:I know you have like 20 of them. Where una dey get this money nau? |
superCleanworks:What a very intelligent way of responding to a comment! So mature and full of wits. But don't keep it up. |
[quote author=superCleanworks post=101346544]i can bet that top nigerians will make for 10% of the population on that website we love to dip out hands in criminal stuff[/quote Not only criminal stuffs even heroic stuffs. If those guys were Africans, you'd probably think all Germans are angels. Right? |
Pastorjohn2:Haaa....nkan n'bẹ ![]() |
mofedamijo:Indeed, they should go to hell ni o though I don't like using the word. I got at least 4 offer of admissions from Russell group Universities in the UK last year. What is University of Amsterdam where these universities are mentioned? |
MadamExcellency:Giving back to her country? The country didn't build her o, her parents' money did. Those who should give back to their country are rotting away in our public schools. |
Norms? Isn't that how the world thinks you're normal? As a matter of fact, if you want to be 'normal', it has to be because you're following the 'norm'. Isn't the world 'normal' from 'norm' itself. Anyone who has great goals to achieve other than what presently persists has to be abnormal. In government, the abnormal stands out, in science and invention, the Musks, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg we're not normal people. Was Delay even normal? Be abnormal but let it be in the positive direction. |
Imagine them asking for info on the last 3 websites you visited, last amount of data allocated to you...does this make sense? How does it provide security for s nation struggling with database issues? |
helinues:Emotional recklessness....see oyinbo from someone hiding away from the truth. It's in desperate times that we know desperate people so don't school us. The ideologies he held surfaced and now resurfaced and you say "emotional recklessness" |
JudgeKronos:What do you expect when suffering has gone to the extent you don't know how it feels to be normal again? |
Godchosen001:I'm very sure this picture you've been posting is a form of sarcasm. Yeah, keep being sarcastic in that format so that Nigerians won't fall again into the same trap they're in. |
Na every month be mother's day ni? This is why I hardly post on these international or national celebrations jare. My mum deserves celebrations every time and anytime and I cannot comman kee myself with this day, that day all the time. |
Jesus gave us His entire life and yet, we still break his heart. How much more you. Be grateful you haven't meet your end on her behalf. Take some time to cool off in those things you like doing (maybe your career, family etc), come back better and stronger and move on with life. It ain't gon be easy but you'll be glad you successfully wade away from depression. |
blackarcher:And in the process of cruising, after cruising her body so well, you discover she has a mark on her body which you won't be able to ignore in the future. Then all of a sudden, she starts looking like trash... This is the reason they keep preaching that people should stay celibate until marriage. At least, everything will look meaningful though there may still be challenges. |
![]() Every time I see this headline, the question that keeps coming to my mind is "is it boiled or fried"? Is it hunan's or doll's? What type of p*nises exactly are we talking about? Some news headlines just defy everything called sense. |
They're just wailing ni joor. Nigeria is not cash crush or crunch jare.... Let them continue repairing the National Assembly with 32 billion. They can even double the amount. Abi they can't borrow money again ni? |
MELVANA:Is that where you'd stop? Some of us are ready to read intellectual concept as long as it's posted so continue writing it. I want to understand what accelerationism is based on your perspective. |
Humanoid01:I was going to read and pass but had to stop at this. I don't have the kind of money that'll make you feel really good about yourself now, I don't have the handsomeness that'll wow some ladies and even about dress sense, I haven't achieve the ideals I set for myself. But what is a man if his brain is empty and full of mundane things? So technically yes, intelligence can be acquired by what and how you read and how you immerse yourself in knowledge, where you go, what you listen to and see on Youtube etc. Basically, you get intelligent by what you engage yourself with in your everyday life. So for me, I have a certain level of confidence here. The fact that I'm not empty upstairs make me not want to chase girls because I know that not every girl can stand me and the kind of discussions I'll engage them in except the well endowed upstairs. |
wink2015:You care to know why it's so? Awolowo loved his people and coupled with the ideas he had, he looked straight and focused on his achievements. The new breed of politicians in Yorubaland today are opposite of that. They will only defend their pockets and their family members. Trying to do all these and pretend as if the love the people, trials and challenges of governance will blow them off easily like it is blowing them off. Insincerity (caused by greed and lust for money and power) is the problem of political leaders in Yorubaland today. Take that away and you have highly intellectual and competent administrators in government offices. |
Rossnitti:Ridiculous people indeed! And you don't think you're the one being ridiculous here or is it because you have little or no idea of America's history? FYI, America led by the Democrats party majorly, wanted out of the Union just because the Lincoln administration outlawed slave trade. Just because of slave trade. Not because of killings and kidnappings and favouring the perpetrators, not because of acute and alarming level of greed and corruption, not because of tribalism. If Nigerian government as an institution wants us to stop talking about division et cetera, then they need to make us feel equal on all grounds. Outside of this, Nigerians will keep clamouring for any escape route out of this unholy, unproductive, monstrous and disastrous union they're presently. |
Drizzy5001:Not "majority", you can some and I'd agree. I know a lot of girls in my department who studied even more than I did during my undergraduate days. In fact, some of them fell sick because they starved and stressed themselves just to make good grades and yet, I did better than many of them. So should I also say "they offer their bodies for the mark". Girls are currently holding education more tightly than guys jare. |
greymiles:Drop this mentality jare..... Are you saying people hate buying from the Igbos in Nigeria because they're the hub of commercial activities especially importation of electronics? FYI, I'm not an Igbo and there's NOTHING I hate about the Igbos or any other tribe for that matter except for the Fulanis over-superiority attribute because they feel as if they have all the powerful people and they can exploit other people. Yet, I don't hate them for that. If UNIZIK is as good as you say it is, its qualities will trump over any hatred from anyone just as Innoson is quietly flying already. |
People that think governance is about construction of roads, bridges and train are the most dangerous people to meddle with. |
Mtscheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwww........ ![]() What's shifting in the paradigm here? If paradigm shift will occur, it means all the politicians in power right now will have to be rooted out and it won't exist under the grossly, corrupt, inept system ably headed by the "humble administration" of the person you mentioned. |
Partially true... At a time when the country is in dire need of constitutional reforms and all-round holistic reforms in all spheres of governance, it's lawmakers are executing solar street lights projects that would barely last 6 months. Honestly, I think lawmakers are the first and major problems we are having. The power to impeach an erring executive, to reform or rewrite a part of constitution that is against the people etc lies with them. But what are the doing. And perhaps Madam Oby is right because asslicking of these politicians is just too much. Just watch out on this thread alone. |
