The old Rivers State was split because all the ethnic groups thought it was overdue. Ijaws campaigned to have at least one ‘Ijaw State’. Different groups had their opinion on how they wanted the split to happen. There were the Orashi group, Portharcourt State movement etc. So Bayelsa State creation has nothing to do with your Azikiwe or Ojukwu as some of you claim.

I was telling someone that you shameless Igbo people will be putting out a story soon how you fought for Wike against Gumi that silenced the later over the issue of Abuja as you always want to take credit for anything that tickles your fancy.

The structure in question is not in Abuja but Portharcourt. It’s not under the control and supervision of Wike.

The vested interest Wike has is because he built and donated the structure to the Nigerian law school when he was the governor, as part of the State’s contribution towards legal education but unfortunately, it’s been grossly being mismanaged with clear lack of maintenance even when funds have been made available.

If it was issued by a third party that is licensed to do so, then it was issued by CSU because the third party would have verified his records with the CSU before issuing such.

If a Criminal record certificate was issued by a third party vendor in the US or Canada, it is not wrong to say that you have a criminal record certificate issued by the US or Canadian authorities or government because the third party will not issue such without verifying your records from the government database.You guys are just creating an issue over nothing.

The questions honest people should be asking,

Are there third party vendors or private establishments that are licensed by CSU to provide services such as issuance of diploma to individuals?

Did Tinubu get a replacement diploma from one of these vendors or companies?

If the answer is yes then there’s no forgery anywhere.

I know that even some government agencies give licenses to private companies or third party vendors to provide such services like criminal records, drivers licenses etc and this is different from how it is done in Nigeria but doesn’t mean that anyone who patronises those third parties are engaged in forgery.

There’s no forgery here. The only thing that will show forgery is if there’re no third party vendors empowered by the school to deal with such things as replacement of lost diploma and other services or if the third party vendor that Tinubu claimed he got it from, denies that it is from them. I know for sure that in the US, Canada, UK etc organisations and even the various tiers of government empowers some private agencies or third parties to provide certain of their services to individuals on their behalf such as drivers license, health care and even criminal records certificates. Now because in Nigeria you get your police records directly from only the Nigerian police and no third party or intermediary, doesn’t mean that someone in the US or Canada who got his from a private company that is licensed to provide such, forged it.

It’s important for people to know that systems are different. Why would anyone forge something when he absolutely has no reason to? The school confirmed his attendance and graduation so on what basis would he then forge the certificate?
