I no know how to put mouth for this una case, he called and told me he didn't give u warranty on that battery and it was tested OK, before u carried it, I told him if there was anything he could do to it make u no lose , he said no, that was how I bought 2 batteries at oshodi arena for 90k , 45k each, for my client , both batteries was test for almost an hour each , after installing the batteries, less than a month, one Battery stopped working, we took it back to him, the thief still collected 15k and the battery before he gave us another battery after giving us a month warranty on the battery, a 200ah scrap battery is sold for 15k, he collected 15k cash , and the mumu said he was helping us, 15+15=30k

Really?! How come i am just seeing this after selling a scrap emerson 200ahr and another battery of 110ahr for 18k. With abeg oh.

Lol... Dis life sef. I av tire.

chiboyjohn:
trailer and car batteries are not safe, they contain raw acid ,during charging ,gases emits to the surroundings(not good for closed environment), because it can harm your health,,,
but inverter batteries contain sealed gel which is certified safe for indoor use,,,
inas much as we love cheaper things ,human safety should be our first priority,, i do not encourage people to use car or traileer batteries indoors, you can charge them outside and not inside homes

Yeah, totally agree. Safety first.

ceejay80s:
Trippledots & Penuelseun make una take am easy, if two elephant fight na the grass go suffer,
So make una no fight, I didn't say its the best application for it, but it works....
I prefer the deepcycle battery but as money no dey ground now, I used what I have till I have money for deep cycle battery,
As long as ur battery is 12v or 24v or 36v depending on ur application it will work, even these okada 12v batteries will power something *but for how long depends on ur load* its not the best application but it will work

I hear you my brother. I no get the time for baseless talks sef.

And bolded is actually load and/or battery bank. Reason i said if its sized properly

If i get a couple healthy trailer batteries foe the price of one rugged deep cycle, and their total storage is maybe double or triple the deep cycle one, i will go for the trailer batteries. Provided i have adequate charging provided for it.

Penuelseun:
You sef calm down, I said what I said, a trailer battery is meant for starting vehicles not for deep cycle applications. The lead plates of a trailer battery is sponge like while the one in a deep cycle is thicker. Please don't mislead the public, your type are the ones misleading the public in buying substandard batteries for them thereby giving them the impression that inverters are not reliable in the long run. Let's be guided please.

Heheheheee..... My type? Smh....such an ignorant statement.

Oh well.

I'll pass.

fowlyansh181:
wait are you saying a 43inch lg for 60k is too cheap to be true.. used? Jesus , something I got for 55k just about 2weeks ago for my lady and her zee world things make she no Dey disturb me for sitting room..

Your head get oil...

CsRockefeller:
Damn!!

I almost fell for that guy. I knew it was too good to be true. You can't sell an LG 43 inches for 60k.

I was to meet him on Sunday, but Bros said he won't be around, I even wanted to pay a deposit of 30k. Somehow, it didn't happen.

All through, I had doubts, was even angry with myself yesterday that that TV had passed me by.

Men!! People are evil.

The night is dark and full of terror.

You can... No add pepper and salt join d matter.

Penuelseun:
Not advisable, if you want to enjoy your inverter, then buy original batteries. Maybe the reason his battery lasted up till now is because his load is not heavy. A trailer battery is never good for deep cycle applications.

Wonderful... See the authority you use de talk. Oga calm down, na where u knw reach another person own start.

First ask yourself why is deep cycle called so, and how does lead acid chemistry work.

And, yes it can be used if sized properly and charged properly too

Mendy31:
I payed in 79k yesterday and he said the item will be waybilled to me today

These tv, are those power ratings when then are on full mode or power savibg mode?

Topmost11:
Good day house. House, my 60a powermr mppt controller arrived today. I shall fix it tomorrow.
But I have a challenge. The panel and battery ports has two +be and two -ve ports. How do I connect since wires from my panels and batteries are not two but one ie one +ve and one -be wires. I understand the pv, b and ou. Just how do i make one wire nter two slots. Those tjat are using this type of cc could also help.

I also read that I should fix circuit breakers between panel and cc and between cc and battery. I have read this before and has pencilled down this but has not bought due to funds. What is the implication of installing the cc now and incorporating the breakers at a later date. Pls keep in mind I will fix all by DIY so keep response easy to understand. Drawing will be appreciated too. Thanks.

You can use one slot per terminal if that's what your power draw can handle. The extra connectors are to take care of max power draw from the cc.

Budget method of handling high power from the charge controller.

Affordable and durable transformer based design

Do they fare better than apc converted-ups inverters?

teebozz:
Hi Guys/Ladies,
We understand this platform is for house clearance sales.
its a great idea and avenue for us all to meet some needs, kudos all !!
but some people still believe in buying best quality products like i do irrespective of price posted here, clearance sale or market price.
I have bought two items here(shoes)within a week,exactly d market price,they are perfect.
in as much the items are of good quality nd meets my taste,i dont care d price.
i even fear some low prices/clearance sales price cos of unseen/unknown issues u may face soonest.
But it doesnt mean am derailing the thread
Love the clearance sales objectives
Av never posted clearance sale item here but based on regular request for an item,i responded within 16hrs nd i stated, dis is not clearance sale. i stated d item condition as just bought nd used new.
Believe it,av gotten four different chats today and two calls.
One is ready to pick it at a fair price evn thgh its not compulsory i sell
There are some items people needs and cannot easily be gotten from clearance sale and the market price is too high.
Nobody with a right mindset can come to A clearance sales platform and sell at d price an item is purchased nor want to make profit as some believe, maybe few,but not just.
if a new item is sold 50/60 percent of d newly purchased price,i blv, dats great.
dis is automatically clearance sale or give away self.
Sincerely, some buyers are not ready to buy.
They want to buy at 30percent cost of a new item o,haba!!
Clearance sales doesn't mean it should be free now.
Anyway,I appreciate guys efforts for d sanity provided on this thread
Clearance sales,good development.
We will all get there
Splendid Sunday
God bless

What is wrong with you?

It's a clearance thread, period!

What's the problem with some people sef!?

CsRockefeller:
Why do people think that any stuff (2nd hand) you are about to sell here or anywhere in Nigeria must have a fault?

The washing machine has no fault pls.

Or is my price too cheap?

Hw much and pix pls..

jenifer007:
You guys are already making this platform boring with insult here and there.Guys let's stop that.Let the sellers come over to sell their stuffs and if no one patronizes them based on their high price,it is either they leave the thread or they will have no choice than to reduce their price .I can see lots of deleted comments.

It is a free world...No need of activists on this thread.I believe we are adults. Let the sellers have freedom to sell and let the buyers also have freedom to buy or not instead of quoting sellers to insult them.

CHEERS.

This is the type of attitude that makes we Nigerians very complacent to corruption and flagrant abuse of power in our very noses....a thread was made and tagged "clearance thread". it started building up steam, even people came to do giveaways for free. As soon as the fire is blazing bright, business men and women are trying to pounce on it and kill it with their prices and products.

Now some sensible people have taken it upon themselves to sanitize the thread and here you are saying blablabla!

Pls if you cant take the heat leave the kitchen!

Fowlyansh and co Pls go ahead with the goodwork. Bring back the reason for the thread.

Well done

zeestone99:
This is about 40k, why don't you buy one of these rugged Indian inverters. I have 1kva with display for 43k

which ones are these indian inverters?

ceaser:
The capacity isn't indicated on it and I forgot to ask from the supplier, cos I assumed that it will be the peri-20,000mah that was of the types I had before. But this omw is smaller sized but with apparently more juice (as experienced from the use). I plan to even take it apart soon and see the innards.

I'll confirm from the supplier and get back to you.

that's whatsup. thanks
