So there is this lithium pack (18650s) that is designed to be used with a laptop (19v out) and printer (30v out) ports. Charges good and at a price of 12k.

Pack includes battery pack, battery charger and in-to-in plugs for the type of laptop you use.

Guy is reliable, so if you wanna contact him I'll give his number here.

Whats the watt hour of the battery pack?

The installer used this but it's still leaking

Use silicon gun abi gum. Its a big syringe like device that you push out the paste from. It can seal up difficult to reach areas.

Never argue with a foolish person because they will drag you to their level and beat you there. Smh...

Someone needs to explain what clearance sales means to some people here.

Nonsense...

Just read on Yahoonews that it was smoke inhalation that killed most of the people aboard that boat, rather than fire burns.

Horlaarsco:

I think it should, esp if the 1000kva has a higher surge rating.

I use the fangpusun 30a/100v smartsolar on a 12v system.

I played with the battery selector switch and discovered an error in the digram on the manual as to ascertain which battery type you have selected. Attached is a pix of the correct bulbs to look at for the binary flashes.

Hope this helps someone out there.
Cheers.

Can u guys identify a spider too? I saw one one day and took pix of it for posterity. Should i post pix?

I will love to know its name.

Maybe start by accepting the certainty of death, brevity of life, uncertainty of how death will occur and living life to the fullest everyday....

eleojo23:
You can connect as many batteries you want to the 650va as long as the voltage is kept at 12v through parallel connection.

The same goes for the 1500va but the voltage of that one has to be kept at 24v through series connection or a combo of series and parallel if you have many batteries.

That series diagram is wrong oh. The yellow line goes straight out as your negative terminal without touching the second battery's terminal....You may want to delete that pix so that someone doesn't use it and burn his house down. Biko oh.

Modify: just checked again. The positive terminal is wrong too..

Series connection is out+<••••••+-+-•••••>- out

dgr8truth:
Though it work as an inverter the efficency will make you reconsider using an inverter. Use a meter, read the power drawn from from the battery and actual power being consume from the ac side.

Very true. The small apc ups i use has a 60% efficiency rate. My load on it is very light anyway so i can manage with it. At the back of my mind tho i know im wasting scarce energy.

Love892:
what's the error code?

Not even listed amongst my channels again. As at yesterday tho there was a pop up message to contact dstv. By 10am this morning, an auto responder on dstv phone line said they were closed for the day

I just noticed the typo now. Lol

I knw you meant one bedroom....still doesn't ask your question well. You later were guided and you have stated the right questions.

My dstv started acting up yesterday and since then some stations have not been showing, including bbn.

Anyone else having such experience?

eleojo23:
Continuously? O boy!

You will need to dedicate a room to your setup o because if you use a 12v system, you will need about 40 pieces of 200ah batteries! The price of batteries alone is about 4Million+

Wait for more input from the veterans on this thread, they might have a way around it.

Lol... Definitely not a 12v system for this. Your dc cables go thick like my thumb.

How much would it cost to setup a solar system for a one bathroom apartment please?

Power is not paint this type of question de sabi funny me.

Seriously, you need to state what loads you want to power, and for how long. Thats where the dance starts from.

you can use battery in place of PV. This should max the cc and satisfy your curiosity

Thats true oh, never thought of that. Thanks sir... But i don't have spare batteries to series and get higher voltage sef.

ceaser:
PHCN ke?! Is that a new solar accessory equipment?
Baba, I don jettison those useless guys now no be 36 months, for my crib of course. So I don't even think I will wanna give 'em consideration for a small office business power supply.

I know I will have to oversize that array to at least 1.25kw (x1.5) to cover for losses and inefficiency.

I don't think I will wanna go Fangpusun for something not large scale. That will be investing too much.

Thanks for the heads up baba.
More suggestions are welcome.

It's an accessory that can really be useless some times.

Alright, cheaper cc is fine then. Although I'm guessing your idea of investing too much, is because of the price tag quoted here by some of our big sellers... I may be wrong though.

All the best in your installation sir.

ceaser:
Guys.
With the coming hamattan months, an inverter AC is expected to enter the picture of the appliances. I think the consumption is around 1250 watts tops on the sticker (I heartily welcome users' opinion on the real life consumption values)

Being a business area, it's expected to run mostly during sun hours; no need to be so pushy for evening use on such power consumption.

A modular solar set up for an LG type inverter AC. Would you advice a 12v setup or a 24volt set up? Reasons being that an experimental 12v 2400 watts peak PSW inverter is lying fallow. The new purchases will be an MPPT SCC (thinking of trialing the MakeSkyBlue rival, PowMr), solar panels, batteries and of course other gamut that comes with the connections.

Nonetheless, if you think i may be pushing it somewhat with the 12v system and would rather I opt for some higher voltage system, please do good to state it too. After all, repurposing that 12v inverter from its lab rat function is a half-hearted decision.

What are your expert opinions please?

Thank you.

Non expert suggestion.... Use lab rat PSW inverter, fangpusun mppt cc, Integrate phcn if possible, use slightly oversized pv array.

Wait for the Harmattan to come.
