Earlier this year, wanted to get a used phone for my brother, but it turned out the seller was very far away — Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi lohùn lohùn.

That didn't deter me, and the useless seller told me to be on my way. I spent more than ₦1.5k and 3 hours to get there.

I got to Dolphin Estate and called the idiot, and she told me she wasn't actually around that someone was meant to bring the phone to me and I that I should wait.

Waited for over 3 hours and kept calling and she wouldn't pick. She was even declining my WhatsApp calls. That's when it dawned on me that she was a time-waster.

I remember telling couple of them that I had promised to wait for the first guy coming from abule egba (but had to go back cos of traffic jam) that I’d get back to them if he fails to show up.. he came the following day. The second person asked for my account details in the middle of the night without asking him/her to make any form of advance payment and after he/she made the payment, the person open up that he/she was also coming from Ogun state and I should bring the stuffs to ikeja or Oshodi which I responded NO to and suggested refunding the amount sent..
