Freelancing is not always sustainable, you would always have to upskill to stay relevant. Since you know that there's no way that you can multi-task, I would suggest that you quit those jobs. Life is still long, and there's more than enough money to be made. |

Food › Re: Lagos Residents Consume N4.5bn Food Daily by Trojan8(m): 5:25pm On Jul 05, 2022 |
thegagoman: The average Lagosian eats 1k daily (1-0-1), 500 Naira per meal, morning and evening. The population is 21 million. 1k x 21 million = 21 billion Naira. The 4.5 billion estimation is wrong.
It will also suprise you to know that Lagos danfo drivers and conductors spend more money on food than every other person. You need to see where they are eating Amala and Ogunfe, that one alone is about 2k at once. In the afternoon, they eat like 2 gala and one coke inside traffic. By the time they get home in the evening, the wife has prepared huge Eba with correct goat meat and asorted. These people spend around 4k on food daily, and they actually deserve it cos they work very hard. While I agree that the 4.5bn estimate may be wrong. There's no way that the average Lagosian spends 1k everyday on meal. You are probably living in your own world. |

bluefilm: Audio Worker. Audio 60K.
But be that as it may, let me give you a very simple business advice in case you eventually start a business someday.
Before you start thinking of wages, think first of how much your business is making.
Don't go and cripple your business simply because you want to prove that you are not a heartless boss because in the end if your business eventually folds, you will be the one looking for 10K job. I don't have anything to proof to you. Believe what you want. Ciao |

Gerrard59: Yes, and to add it means the "graduate" lacks a basic understanding of economics. Did he tell you where he is located? If you don't like the wage, decline the offer and go work elsewhere. Sure I understand where you are coming from, but what is the essence of beating a dead horse? The man graduated since 2011, and yet still contemplating if he should do a "job" of 15k. That aside, this doesn't excuse the employer paying such an outrageous amount. |

bluefilm: Since you are only good in selling your time and services for money, I'd advise you then to carry your nonsense self, time and services to a higher bidder rather than telling me to change my Wage structure for you simply because you are the first & ONLY graduate in Nigeria.
Thunder faya you. Did I tell you that I would like to work for you? You must think everyone is as pathetic as you are. I have a worker, with an OND. And she receives more than 60k every single month. I am not heartless like you. Have a lovely day! |

bluefilm: Don't be stupid.
Do you have any idea how much the company is making before you start with your GRADUATE entitlement mentality?
You may not need the job because of your useless GRADUATE status but the fact remains that there are some people who will need the job so please stop discouraging such persons with your GRADUATE mentality.
I wonder why your status as a GRADUATE did not equip you with the necessary skills to start your own business rather than looking for a job where you can leech from.
Nonsense. Now I know that I am wasting my time with a senseless clown that's far from reality. Imagine this idiot calling looking for job "leeching". If everybody had a business, who would be your customer? I am trying to wrap my head around how you would call selling my time and services for money as leeching. I pity anybody that would work with someone with a f.uc.k.ed up mindset like you. |

Did you ask the OP where the office is located?
Did you think of how much the pure water company is really making before they can pay wages?
You just assumed it is slave labor already because you heard 15K wages
Don't let your entitlement mentality send you to an early grave.
Nonsense. Are you dumb? So a graduate asking for more than $25 a month is sense of entitlement? Just look at the way you reason. Nothing in this world would make me do this kind of job. |

DaInferno: make he d pay am 100k?
U dn run business before so? Tax, fuel/diesel, light bill and other expenses...anyway Try rest. No matter how the economy is, doesn't make sense to pay a driver about #500 per day. Most pure water drivers have to be up as early as 5am so as to beat competitors. Then you would work to evening because some customers won't pay you until they are done for the day. All that stress for 15k, try to be human abeg. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: I Just Got A Job And Your Input And Advice Is Highly needed.. by Trojan8(m): 12:05am On Jul 03, 2022 |
That #4 would pay you more sha. You can easily do 500 bags, and during dry season it's easy to do a thousand if the company is well known.
15k is useless. Though as a graduate, wouldn't advice you to do something like that. Then again can't say for your current situation. The job can be depressing with loads of insults. |

Starlinks99: My life is more then a mess, your story seems touching but thank God for your life, I'm in a position where I just have to kill myself My life is bleeped There's no mess that can't be fixed. You need to take a conscious effort that you want this to stop. You can start by deleting your online betting account, this would go a long way in reducing your access to betting. Then you slowly move towards reducing the number of times that you visit a shop. It won't end in a day, but you would be fine soo. If it's money that was loss, you have more than enough time to recover it back. That's the way I live life, so loving material things do not give me nightmares. |

I was in primary school. Before now we were always using it without issues. So that day, we learnt that boiling water would help get rid of germs. That's how I took this boiling ring and placed it inside the bucket of drinking water to hit it up.
After I while, came back to check if it was boiling. I foolishly dip my hands inside it, still can't remember how I got to the ground. The kind of shocking that I got that day would never be forgotten. Nobody in my house knew about what happened till today. |

How many years is the lease gonna take, If he is leasing the property for the most useful life of the house, then the house is for Bob. who bears the repair and maintenance? It is probably that Bob will buy the property after the lease term, then, the house is for Bob.
If the answer to the question is Yes, for Bob. Then, Control has passed to Bob. He will pay monthly installment and interest for the lease term. Rest! Bob is not a business entity that you are trying to value his assets. So all these IFRS 16 interpretations without having any facts is pointless. |
