They mostly were slim, "wicked", and wore too much make up
I would look at them, and wish that they were not unhappy

Fast forward to this day, I am them, lol...I am a single, working lady in this age bracket, well behaved (most times sha), nice, hard working, and content....usually happy and chatty with guys, and not so much with married female folks (apart from my friends)...had my heart broken once, thoroughly, broke 2 hearts definitely, and 1 possibly, still rolls eyes at the thought of menopause,(maybe cos I have a niece I adore and think of as mine?) and still know I cannot settle for less just so I can belong..(maybe the fact that I earn money, and am older and wiser has also made me maybe too independent/strong

Point is, I wonder what teenage girls like me then see when they look at me? A real, happy, good at her job/life lady? Or
a spinster with too much attempts at trying to be young, pitiable and old, who should get married already or move in to a nursing home!

If u say u're keeping urself 4 one man and u see virginity as a treasure to be given to him, do u knw how many ladies he has slept wit and may still sleep wit after marriage? You just setting urself up for disappointment if u are seeking to please men in any way. And virginity is not about ladies alone, the Bible says the marriage bed should not be defiled, and since a woman cant defile herself dat means it goes for both genders. Whatever command God gives is for our own good, and one of the advantages of abstinence b4 marriage is wat ur friend experienced, u get 2 know who wants you for u or for ur body (though thats not the only guarantee, bt it helps). Another another advantage is people find it surprising that ppl change totally from who they were b4 getting 2 a high position where they r faced with various temptations, fact is God toughens us for greater battles through lesser engagements, if u find it difficult to bring ur body under ur control and abstain, how do u expect to do so wen faced with greater challenges. Abstinence helps build ur self-control. So if u are a virgin thank God cos its by His grace, without Him, u can do nothing (Jh 15:5), ur reward is with God, after all the Bible also says "though shall not steal", do you go around looking for accolades cos u don't steal?

konfessor: my girlfriend is 31 and i am 32 going on 33 in september. we plan on getting married, but i am having secound tots because of some reasons below
1. im anglican and she worships at winners,i have followed her to her church several times but she refused to follow me to my own church.she even went as far as telling me that she will never stepp into my church and that when we have children, our children will follow her to her church and she wont allow me to take them to my own church..now how can we as a family ,every sunday worship at a different church?

2.she never agrees with me and she likes winning evry arguement,even when i have documented proof that im correct, she will never agree,she always want to be rite.

3.i cud live with the 2 above, but the worst tin she does that i cannot tolerate is that, she always advices me or counsel me like im a child with no sense at all.this makes me mad at her because anytime i resist it, she says im am autocratic,unyielding,unbending,uncounsellable,unadvisable....all because i stand up to her and take charge like a man.
we had a fite yesterday because of number 3 issue and i told her that she was not there when i was born,up till i grew up and got an education, graduated and got a job, why does she think she can teach me ow to run my life.
i brot up the issue of different church again and told her that if she is not willing to worship at my church, then we are simply wasting our time.she told me that she cannot and will not worship at my own church and if i insist, then we shud break up the relationship.
i know she has good intentions for me and i truly love her, but i dont think i can live with her attitude.
