phreakabit: Honestly I don't think we are lacking in the midfield but Barkley can really add some spark to our team. You know what they say too much is never enough.
even if you drug and smuggle him by container to naija.those cant even happen in a dream. The dude is so English and so white even the tropical wheather of Africa can't turn him blond in a decade...even if he lies on the sun.

lacidi: I really wish we can convince Ross Barkely to play for SE. Unfortunately England wan cap am as quick as possible and I know he will be more comfortable playing for England for obvious reasons. The guy would have been a great addition to our midfield.
whats the obsession with Ross Barkely.

naija noni: I think Francis was decent in dat italy game, remember these guys were playing against a top foreign team for d 1st time,it won't be rosy for them becos they were/are inexperienced and lacked/lack exposure. We would be able to judge better 4rm More top friendlies.IMO Francis would be a decent back-up for elderson.
But kwambe was piss poor. The most important area that needs work is the right back.Becos both the 1st choice(Ambrose) and 2nd choice (Quambe) are unconvincing
Ambrose is real shyte! neymer scored his hatrick off him in the champions league which is a normal thing expected of him(Ambrose).imagine expecting your right back to always be shyte!

naija noni: There is only one player that plays in d scandanavian league there(John Chibuike). And from what i've heard he'll be leaving norway soon,a lot of clubs are chasing him.
Those players are players that i've followed and still follow every week
I didnt mean all should be capped at d same time or before world cup or be taken to d world cup.
Some of those i listed should be capped after d world cup becos some aren't really needed now.
These are young talented players with huge potentials.Capping them quickly in friendly matches would only secure them 4 nigeria and prevent other countries from grabbing them(Just like d alaba case).
you are right.i read imoh ezekiel is begining to get attention outside of standard liege in belgium. He has a run of 7 goals in 19 matches this season so far(not a bad return i think). And its also been muted that belgium are looking to snap him up.it will be good to cap him up immedietly thats what england do even if you never get to wear the shirt again.people dont know how close we were to losing moses.Roy hogdsen was queried and articles were written by English press on how they let moses go.

AncientJerk: Onuoha and aluko are the two i would take from this list but Onuoha snubbed Nigeria in the past so i'm not so keen on seeing him play for us.

you cans till switch national teams if you were capped in a friendly or non-fifa approved official match
you are right on the non fifa aproved matches.i think onuoha's decision can be excused for his immaturity then.same goes for most them in there early 20's who rejected our invitations.its not easy to make such kind of decisions so early in there careers at such age believe me .And we would benefit if we just let our pride out of it.its the world cup afterall.
RomanceRe: Was I Wrong To Reject His Money? by troy20(m):
kokolet007: @OP this is a very delicate matter,Marriage is not a joke and I believe money goes well with love, there's nohow ur so called BF will loves u so much dat he will not want to show it by giving out a susbtancial cash or gift despite wot u guys has been through, am not saying HE MUST bt since the OP said he's financially okay then he has to care for his heart if truly she's his heart, I can't even imagin myself in such relationship,2face has been thick nd thin wiv annie bt now she's enjoying her husby wealth even bfor they were married, u dnt have to marry him bfor u enjoy him, when u marry the rite person Ur money is jus a plus!
"money goes well with love" sadly its true.thats what its truely worth aftarall.you see guys getting bitter you gurls only respond to bills flashed in your face and your ilk quickly getting defensive about true love.i would think a mutual loving union would be least concerned with deep pockets but i must be s..h..i.t.i.n.g my self right now.whoever said love dont cost a thing.sadly yours and o.p's does...or maybe they all do.

if am after his money,I would have left him long ago.
then why the complain that he is stingy now? Is it all that the relationship is worth to you? You dont seem like a bright person sorry.i hate when guys go on about gurls being just after money.but your kind always pop out as an example.

the sly devil OBJ playing the tricks of the famous french politician of the 17th century politician joseph fouché who could always sense a sinking ship and changed ideologies. It severally kept his head away from the blades of the Guillotine of several governments who came into power.its inconcievable that the corrupt OBJ who picked (a laidback) GEJ himself to succed him would be his biggest enemy now when he would need protection the most.the thing is that people are begining to sense a weak government and a party that could collapse eventually if attacked.sadly OBJ is trying to improve his self image by appealing to the popular mood of many nigerians. He is playing the unsmart GEJ for a fool.

Gayigaskia: No that mother**er was sought after by Shuabu Amaodu before the last world cup , he refused thinking he would get a call up from the english team. Now that Cappello never called him all of sudden he wants to be a Nigerian!
yea i remember.many of them act very unsmart .the english national team hasnt achieved anything for decades.and they can barely keep up a stable team of players for more than one match.i've been trying to find out what's so appealing playing for them.if Sone Aluko hadnt been pressured by his family, he would've had same futile hope.
SportsRe: List Uncapped in-form Players Keshi Should Call-up by troy20(op): 12:38pm On Dec 15, 2013
bizibrain: I'm aware of dat,he wont play in brazil worldcup as well. Am hoping he could stil switch nationality just like Victor moses and shola ameobi.

I guess its already late 4 him 2 play 4 Nigeria in nxt year wc finals, because it took victor moses some years b4 he could switch nationality.
well once a player has been capped by a senior national team of a country, he cant change nationality.ameobi never played for england and am sure if agbanlahor hadnt played for england aswell(even if he never stepped on the pitch) he would've wanted to play for us now.am sure he regrets his decision now cause he rejected our invitation long ago.

Afam4eva: We may not have exceptional midfielders but we have midfielders that can hold their own. There' Mikel, Onazi, Mba etc. I think Iheanacho should be considered also imo.
iheanacho and mba are more attacking though i doubt keshi will give iheanacho a call-up.i read somewhere recently that keshi wants to call up lukman Haruna back to the team.he's been in fine form and he's been linked to Epl clubs this january transfer. He is a more complete package.a creative solid ball holder and tackler just as mikel
SportsRe: List Uncapped in-form Players Keshi Should Call-up by troy20(op): 11:39am On Dec 15, 2013
Afam4eva: The only person i could pick from all those you listed is Nedum Onuoha and that is just because we're having a big problem at the backline. We really don't have much of a problem in the midfield and especially in the frontline as we have a myriad of strikers to choose from. I've never see Sone Aluko play and can't speak on his capability.
i no sure o.who else de dat midfield apart from mikel and say onazi.and i watch onazi for lazio he's been in fine form for them but not that talented.who else again?
SportsRe: List Uncapped in-form Players Keshi Should Call-up by troy20(op): 11:06am On Dec 15, 2013
naija noni: Aluko is alreadey a capped super eagles player. He featured in the afcon qualifiers.all he needs is just a call-up,just like every other player.
yea you are damn right.i let that slip me.what match did he even play then.can you remember?...yea i got a pic of him now in super eagles jersey.his sister plays for the english female national team you know.

SportsRe: Brazil 2004: Why Super Eagles Are Not Ready For The World Cup by troy20(m): 10:58am On Dec 15, 2013
safarigirl: I already stated that our defence is the weakest part of the team, but even at that, they aren't very weak, just average. An awesome attack is the bedrock of any team. If your defence is great and your attack is average at best, you'll just end up with draws. The OP is basing conclusions too early, that World Cup will be one of the most surprising tournaments ever. Like I said before, we don't even know who will make that team, forget what people say that it's only fair to go along with those who helped us qualify, Osaze and Martins helped us qualify for AFCON but did they make the team? I trust Keshi, he won't sacrifice excellence for sentiments at Brazil.
i realy do enjoy your passion for the game.but a strong stable team is not built from the attack but the midfield.the midfield is the bedrock of any stable and steady winning team.(For clarity)your attackers are putting away goals cause of it and your defence is that solid cause of it too.thats why spain has been winning everything.the world cup has always produced surprises, this is football.and the Op is not basing his conclusion early either.infact i would rather say he is a little late.

SportsRe: Brazil 2004: Why Super Eagles Are Not Ready For The World Cup by troy20(m): 9:47am On Dec 15, 2013
safarigirl: 5 Reasons why the Super Eagles will do well in Brazil

1. Team Spirit: For the first time in yeaes we have a team that is filled with guys who are happy with each other, no one is made to feel out of place, from the home-based players to the European players, Warri wolves to Chelsea, they are made to feel equal. They play together and pray together they joke around and make fun of each other. It is beleived that whatever happens in the locker room goes a long way in determining what happens on the pitch, so.....

2. Determination- With determination a blind man learns to sew, a deaf man plays Mozart and Mandela brought the end of apartheid. These guys don't want to make up the numbers in Brazil, they don't want to go home after Round of 16, they want to reach the semis and they can do whatever they set their mind to

3. The surprise factor: Even Nigerians don't know who will make that team, it may be you, it may be I or anybody...what more our opponents

4. Underdog factor: Just like no one expected much from them in AFCON, so is it now, they may not be feared now, but even the '94 team weren't feared when they started

5. Prayer: Yes, a lot of people may say this doesn't count, but I doubt Brazil would be 5-time World champions if they weren't so religious. Basically in God We Trust.

@OP, anybody can make a list for or against those points, it don't mean shaytl
safarigirl you got it wrong.this is football.it doesnt just thrive on careless optimism.the team lacks shape.it longs for midfield depth aswell as defensive.

maxtamazin: I laugh when i read comment like this......do we really have any brain in our society? why do u believe am a sinner and you are better than me because i am one out of millions of Nigerians who are tired of all these carnivals preside over by High priest. Enough is enough, we should cut all these crap and understand that prayers cant get us out the mess we are in. We have been praying for 50yrs and we still the same, during those 50yrs of praying, china became the second most powerful nation on earth, india economy grew to become a force to reckon with, Brazil is shaping up to become a great economy. Where is Nigeriahuh?? still praying.
mediocrity always has the loftiest ambition.and that is why your government is working hard to pass a Bill to control the use of social media.many youths have no interests in a serious matter as this.its saddening.alota them arnt aware and interested in events in other economies.Brazil is the new money now.the richest south american country at the moment on GDP and growing very fast to top the world.its good we are waking up.time is getting close when we all shall say enough is enough.when we shall regain our power of thought.when we shall know that God wouldnt give us the power of reason and seek us to supress it.

Sone Aluko:STRIKER/WINGER:we all know Ideye is paying keshi some good $$$$ to get a shirt...just kidding.well aluko is the new ish.he's been in fine form for Hull city in the epl lately until he tore his archilles.the memorable goal against newcastle is well...memorable.i even heard wenger made some inquires lately too and Manager steve Bruce wont stop with the beautiful eulogies of him.well sad for him aluko turned down a new contract.keshi would do well to give him a call again.i gather he was invited for the nations cup but pulled out cause of last minute injury. His respons to previous invitations sugest keshi neednt do a hard work on this one.He is sure already in the bag.outa the pouchy nose of England.
