Lol. And what has Amechi done?. If the funds at his disposal is given to someone like Peter Obi, trust me, Anambra will be the most economic vibrant and industrialized state in Nigeria.

He's just a clueless power drunk douche looking for unwarranted political relevance.

Two people you should never f@ck with: God and The president.

Somehow all these cluelessness and non-performance of Amaechi only came into being as soon as he statted opposing Jonathan
Never heard any negative word about him from the Jonathan crowd until recently
Is performance the same as clutching at Jonathan's coat tail?

ckkris: I like your approach, in a dialogue format. Everyone will see reason. But please, please, no need threatening the Commander-in-Chief. His assistants can hound anyone out of this country. Besides, if it boils down to street battles, you know Austin Opara, Asari, Ateke Tom, and all the rough necks are not for Amechi. Ditto the Federal Security Apparachnik. Then factor in the humiliated and angry Peter Odili. As the Jah men say, Peace & Love, and true Equality.

In other words, Jonathan is an Adedibu cum military despot rolled-into-one masquerading as a democrat!

ballabriggs: Divisiveness, that is what worries me. And not just plain divisiveness, it is done in a very crude way such that thugs like Asari threaten the whole Nigeria and call a people "parasites", absolutely vile and disgusting. If you are an ethnic minority and you spread hate and divide, you are the biggest dolt because when it boomerangs, it is sure to hit you and consume your people. But Jona does not care about the ethnic minorities, they don't care about the South South and Ijaw people. Jona is a selfish man only interested in controlling resources into his pocket with Alams.

ckkris: Make una leave Asari out of this nonsense grammar of no political effect. Asari & his group possess sufficient resources, and the willingness, to so damage pipelines that Nigeria will not be able to sell even one barrel of crude oil. When you subsidy looters rig Jona out, then Asari will show.

As if oil producing countries are not in the minority
Let people take their oil and walk
Were I to become the president, only drugs will be paid for by oil money
I will cap the wells. Heaven will not fall. And see if we will not survive after 5 years!

My case against Asari is not about oil, everyone who supports Asari's outburst is a CRIMINAL
Where is he getting bullets from? If it is illegal for BH, Ombatse to get bullets, why is Asari different?
Why is Asari saying that there should be no election? What is the purpose of having one is Jonathan is the only acceptable winner?
Since it is wrong for Boko Haram to try to secede why can Asari call people parasites who will never rule again. Isn't that a call for those "parasites" destined for eternal enslavement to secede?

ckkris: When you subsidy looters rig Jona out, then Asari will show.

Rig? But Jonathan has perfected the electoral system. Hasn't he? Or is he planning to resign before the next election?

The subsidylooters are the administration that spent a record N2+trillion on subsidy
Not the administration that spent only N600b
And the looters and Maina are doing what?

Pedagogue: D reasons Akpabio and his 'PDP Governor's forum' have given shows how unintelligent they are!!!

They said Amaechi ought to have stepped down as the Chairman of the forum b4 the election was held - Why did they agree to go on with the election since they knew this!!! Since they conceded to that arrangement and proceeded to vote, it is now too late to cry!!!
Apart from this, Akpabio nay GEJ were just clueless as to how best to defeat Amaechi..they had lined up the Governors of Katsina and Bauchi b4 finally settling for Gov. Jang at the last minute!!!Political dis arrangement of the highest order!!!

GEJ and AKPABIO's tactics is obvious- if Amaechi wins, Governors loyal to GEJ should back out of the forum and declare another person as winner. With that, d Governors forum will die a natural death!!!

Medusa and his kiss of death. Everything I touch turn to ashes

Pedagogue:
But whatever may be the case, the fact still remains that GEJ's camp must be sweating over Amaechi's victory. If GEJ could not prevail on PDP governors to vote in his candidate, how can he clinch the party's ticket in 2015?

* I was really stunned to see the Gov of Ondo state being tossed around like an houseboy by Gov. Akpabio in d interview he granted! Mimiko is fast turning to GEJ's south west puppet!!!

Labour party has always been a puppet
It cannot give birth to anything other than a puppet

Most posters here are indeed.'learners'. Like I mentioned in another thread, Amaechi's 'victory' is a Pyrrhic victory. By even insisting on contesting that election - as if he was desperate to challenge the gods to a wrestling bout - he has brought home ant-infested firewood so he must worry about the inevitable visitation of lizards.

It is unprecedented in the history of the NGF for governors to openly reject the election results and declare their outright refusal to recognise the supposed winner. The implications are ominous for the clown parading himself as NGF chairman. If he has any sense left, he would resign immediately and focus on governing Rivers State for the very little time he has left to enjoy immunity.

It is also unprecedented in the history of this country to deny an incumbent the opportunity to seek re-election
Did Jonathan not do it to Sylva?

I read it here on Nairaland. Dont know about source.

JTF needs the support of the people during the war. So there is need for propaganda
You recall how they suddenly captured arms that BH wanted to use to kill Johnathan when he visited Borno
As if it was news that BH wanted to kill him, IG, UN people etc

Look at it this way, they have been trying to link Buhari with BH
Same with Atiku, Babangida and Ciroma
Yet we know that these guys prefer a southerner to Buhari. He is not their friends
If there is any evidence against Buhari, they would have brought it out

People are justifying Asari's provocative statements
So if the North actually threatened to make this country ungovernable and people are saying that is wrong
does it make it right for Asari to make such statements?

If we are wondering where BH gets its arms from
Should we not wonder where Asari is getting his from to be able to match bullet for bullet?

If people are saying the population of the North must be drastically reduced, would you expect them to really be happy at a SOE that might just be designed for that?

My point? JTF is fighting a war. One of the major instruments is falsehood and alarmist stories designed to paint the enemy in a particular light

Nashville:

You must be a young man and I will educate you. You claim the Yorubas are slaves to the North but I if you really understand the history of Nigeria, you will realise that it is actually the Yoruba who have never voted along with the North. From the days of Action Group to UPN, tell me when the Yorubas voted along with the North. Was it not Zik that formed an alliance with Ahmadu Bello. Why do you think they call him and Igbo the beautiful bride. He was made a ceremonial president with not portfolio. Awolowo never wanted to have any dealings with the North that was why he repeatedly wanted an Alliance with Zik but Zik instead chose to be the beautiful Bride. Same thing repeated itself in 1963.

Awolowo's relationship with the North got so bad he was accused of treason and jailed while Akintola replaced him. In 1963, Zik initially refused another Alliance with Ahmadu Bello even calling for a military take over before agreeing to be the bride again. In 1979, the Yoruba did not vote along with the North and even in 1993. fast foreward to 1999 when OBJ ran and the same thing happened. The North voted OBJ and Yoruba voted Falae. Who did the SE vote for? Was it not OBJ? Fast forward to 2011, the North Voted Buhari and the Yoruba voted Jonathan. So please get you facts right, the Yoruba and the North do not vote together, if there is a region that has been voting along with the North it is the Igbo hoping to get crumbs but they have now realised they will never get anything. Have you not heard several Igbo leaders saying they no longer want to play second fiddle. The Igbo have been playing second fiddle to the North from independence and are just realising what the Yoruba had always known. Now, you may ask me about the war, and if you do, I will explain to you.

The problem we have now is that Jonathan is just not the right man, neither is Buhari; the country needs to move beyond the politics of tribe. How many South South people on this thread have benefitted anything from GEJ presidency. We need to move beyond rotational presidency to merit. There are a group of people in Abuja from every tribe stealing from all of us, and those are the people we need to fight, not each other.

What do you have against Buhari? And the North has been
Gowon, Abacha, Babangida are not Hausas
In 1979, nos 2, 3 and 4 went to SE, SS and SE
Core north did not disturb Gowon for 9 years and he was pushed out when he wanted to perpetuate himself in power
It was the same Northerners who promised civil rule in 1979 which upon Murtala's death Obj adopted
You will recall that it was the middle belt Christians that killed Murtala though he planned his coup to spare the life of Gowon

Lol, but that is how most Nigerians actually reason. A man is backed by all the powers in the constitution and yet, we are being told, a bunch of criminals sponsored by fellow politicians are making the country ungovernable. Most of you claim that you know the sponsors of Boko Haram, so the question I ask is why hasn't the GEJ government arrested these people. A Boko Haram orange seller had 600 million naira pass through his account, isn't anyone tracing the source of the money? Is that too difficult to do? Who are their financiers? Or are we to believe almajeris in the North have the financial resources to take on Nigerian government? Some politicians have been linked to Boko Haram, what has happened to them?

That statement is a lie!

Its a puzzle I pondered for years and finally got answers to it.

1) The world is created to go by positives and negatives to create a balance.where there is dominance ,there must be submission.Where there is a slave, there must be a master. Its better to be feared than loved. Those supporting the north are consciously or subconsciously doing so because the north has dealt with them so badly ,from the days of uthman dan Fodio,Afonja to Abiola.Just the way we admire and support Britain, U.S,Arabs (they traded black slave too) despite their atrocities of slavery and colonisation.

Western Nigeria is yet to wean itself of political fascination about northern hegemony and power. They nearly did that durring NADECO and OBJ regime. They relapsed and never supported OBJ who tried to break than bondage.

3)Some women are found to fantasize about ra.pists.Even those that are victims of rape.

What happened?
South East was with the North in 1960 - 1966. SE was no 2
South East was with North again in 1979 - 1983. Where did they wrong you. You were no 2 and 4?

Nobody tried to make the country ungovernable for Shagari, not the talk about the military people. But now, a southern person from the eastern part is president

Nobody made the country ungovernable for Gowon who was from Middle Belt. The man ruled for 9 years!
Only MEND tried to make the country ungovernable for obasanjo.
And the Warri crisis that made the place ungovernable
Or have we forgotten?

A number of prominent Northerners not just Lawal Kaita said the country will be made ungovernable if Jonathan wins and he won and what are we getting? The country is being made ungovernable. Blood all over the place.

At least leave Buhari out of it. He said if the election is rigged
Same thing Ahmadu Ali, PDP chairman said in 2007
Obj a southerner said worse in 2007 - do or die
Same Ahmadu Ali said that Ibadan was a garrison and Adedibu was the commander - did anyone take offence?

Well, we are idle people in Nigeria talking nonsense most of the time. This young man blows up out of accumulated tension and frustration and you say, arrest him. Start arresting from the beginning.

The people are saying Asari is saying there is no need for an election in 2015
Is that not a precedent!
We are moving from a situation of rigged election to no election
Are we in Cameroon, DPK or PRC?

The point he is making is that we have had well above 50 years of Independence and out of those years, thirty-eight and half, the North supplied the headship of Nigeria.

In 1987, we had a meeting with the Middle-Belt and they told us the moment they see the south east standing firmly on an issue, they will go with us.

Is the Middle Belt not part of the people you call the North that have ruled for 38 years?
Is Gowon who has had the longest unbroken rule in this country (9 years) not from the North when he mentions 38 years?
BTW during Abacha rein the most powerful person after Abacha was Jerry Useni, also a Middle Beltan

Out of the 38 years, core Hausa Fulani ruled for about 11 years (Balewa, Shagari and Buhari)
Gowon, Babangida and Abacha are not Hausa-Fulanis

Any thing geo-religious is dangerous for us. And we don’t want risking the radicalization of western Muslims who are the best examples of how to live with different religions.

I wonder how the idelogies really play out in practice
PDP govs that are doing well are saying/doing the same things as the ACN govs that are doing well

When the South East led by NPP allied with NPN (which was dominant in the North) in 1979 with the North conceding VP and House Speaker (no 2 and 4 positions) to the South East, there was no danger of radicalization or geo-politics. The arrangement held no danger

But these people who since 1914 have been living together in the same country, living in each other's territory, even intermarrying in some casese could not have been readicalized by such interaction. But as soon as they both belong to APC, one will radicalize the other. And the "liberal" SW cannot have any influence on the "radical" North. It can only be one way.

So you need to belong to the same party now to be redicalised.

Because someone has a PhD from Harvard does not mean he rises above this illogical arguments or trying to pull the wool over the eyes of people

When the North courts another zone other than SE, it a red light!
