striktlymi: Learn to draw the line between Islam and terrorism.
No. Islam is about terrorism. See the verse of terrorism:

When thy Lord inspired the angels, saying: I am with you. So make those who believe stand firm. I will throw FEAR into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Then smite the necks and smite of them each finger (Quran 8:12).

Why are muslims denying the truth?

deScifa: I believe other Apostles and i believe Jesus
If you are sincere to your belief you should not be accusing Paul because other apostles agreed with his statements and teachings. They worked with him and called him their brother. Are you not sounding contradictory?

None of the other apostles you said you believe accused him of wrongdoings. Do you know better than them?

If you believe other apostles you should accept Paul as they accepted him.

Believing in Jesus is another debate if u mean as told and described by someone who knew nothing about him NO.

deScifa: Who wrote Act of Apostle? Luke who is Pauls friend and Secretary. Tell me any where else in the Bible aside from Paul and his disciples scripts where Paul performed miracle? who were their witness(es)? wink
You are a biased judge with subjective judgements. You believe the long essay you copied on the internet coined against Paul, using his writings. You believe Paul's words when quoted to oppose him but you don't believe the same Paul's words when they are to his credit.

It is people like you who think they can pull Christianity down that can take you seriously. Your exercise is total futility.

Jesus said '' I will build my church and the GATES of hell shall not prevail against it'' (Mat. 16:18).

Nothing, not even satan's direct attack (no gates) can
pull down the Church of Jesus. Your efforts is so minute when compared to what haters of the gospel had done from generations to generations, yet they failed.

If don't believe Paul, do you believe other apostles? I know your answer is 'NO'. It shows your problem is not Paul but the Gospel of Jesus.

If you don't believe Paul, do you believe in Jesus? I know your answer is 'NO'. It shows your problem is not Paul but the Lord's Gospel.

deScifa: Paul was persecuting the followers of Jesus.
Did he change? What lead to is supposed change is only known to him and only him. Cos Paul was preaching his own Gospel..
In what book did he perform his miracles? what were the miracles?
Spiritual backing from where?
No miracles performed by Paul you said?

Now I see! It is because you and other critics of Paul do not know him well. No wonder you are saying what you are saying. Even Muhammad who the muslims regard as high and great prophet could not heal ordinary headache. He ate poison without knowing and yet they do not heap up accusations against him despite his deeds. They believe him as a prophet. But here is Paul who did great exploits for the Lord but hated so much by the spiritually ignorant.

Now tell me, could a man without God's approval do all these? Then, since he had God's approval, men's judgments and opinions matter nothing in the sight of God. All you are doing only amounts to a waste of time:

Paul raised Eutychus from death in Troas
Acts 20:8
And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.

Acts 20:9
And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.

Acts 20:10
And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.

Acts 20:11
When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.

Acts 20:12
And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.

Paul blinded Elymus:
Acts 13:8
But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.

Acts 13:9
Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.

Acts 13:10
And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

Acts 13:11
And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

Acts 13:12
Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.

Paul healed a crippled man:
Acts 14:8
And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked:

Acts 14:9
The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,

Acts 14:10
Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.

Acts 14:11
And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.

Acts 14:12
And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.

Acts 14:13
Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.

Acts 14:14
Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,

Acts 14:15
And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:

Acts 14:16
Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.

Acts 14:17
Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

Acts 14:18
And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.

Paul healed a woman possessed by evil spirit:
Acts 16:17
The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.

Acts 16:18
And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

The miraculous earthquake
Acts 16:25
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

Acts 16:26
And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

Paul performed other miracles in Ephesus
Acts 19:11
And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:

Acts 19:12
So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

Paul not affected by viper at Melita
Acts 28:3
And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.

Acts 28:4
And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.

Acts 28:5
And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.

Acts 28:6
Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.

I have some questions for you, which I expect you to honestly answer:

Was Paul persecuting the church before?

What made him to change and become persecuted?

Paul was killed for the course of the gospel, he never denied Christ. Would a man afford to die for the course he took to deceive?

Could Paul perform miracles before his conversion? What or who empowered him to do so (with proof) after his claimed conversion?

Can a man perform miracles without spiritual backing? What was his spiritual backing (with proof)?

Can a man speak against the plan of God (gospel) and still empowered with signs and wonders as a proof of his calling by God?

Christianity EtcRe: Paul: The False Apostle by truthman2012(m): 8:37pm On Aug 19, 2014
deScifa: Isn't it funny that you expect anyone to be appointed a judge over Paul, The facts are there for everyone to see and i know you are running away from one obvious fact. Theirs no point playing Tantrum, you are only crying in futility my dear. If everything about Pauls Gospel is built on falsehood then a lot of question need to be asked about present day Christianity. When we read the epistles attributed to Paul or even the book of Acts many red flags seem to appear. For starters, Paul began by arresting/persecuting Christians. In the book of Acts we are told Paul was present at the murder of a Stephen who was a known Christian. Acts goes on to tell us Paul experienced a conversion on his way to Damascus to further persecute Christians. This account is mentioned in 9:1-31, 22: 1-22, and 26: 9-24. This whole story is suspicious for a number of reasons. First, the way Jesus appears to Paul in the story is not biblical. Jesus always appeared in the flesh, not as a light as specified in Paul's supposed account. Second, the account given is contradictory. Verse 9:7 tells us the individuals traveling with Paul heard Jesus' voice but saw no one. Verse 22:9 tells us instead the individuals with Paul saw a light but did not hear Jesus' voice. Third, is the improbable claim that Paul was on his way to Damascus to round up Christians. This is very unlikely considering Damsacus was a predominantly pagan territory at the time under Nabataean control. Paul would have had no authority to round any one up. Fourth, where are those individuals that were with Paul to verify this incident? It surely would make it more believeable if there were witnesses.

In the New Testament Paul is referred to as an apostle 22 times. Only twice is this done by someone other than Paul himself. It is not from Jesus, or any of the original apostles(disciples), but from Paul's friend and personal press secretary Luke. It is obvious from reading the accounts of Paul, Acts for instance, that the disciples did not believe him to be one of them. There was obviously no love loss between the disciples and Paul.

Another area of contradiction is in Paul's teachings. Paul was a stout supporter of faith. This in itself is not a bad thing. The problem is Paul emphasized faith over everything else; including action. Paul's teachings on salvation apart from works contradicts other clear teachings in the New Testament such as Matthew 5:19, Matthew 25:31-46, John 15:10, James 1:22-25, and James 2:24. Other than Paul, the New Testament teachings are predominantly works based. Another area of difference in Paul's teachings and the rest of the New Testament are his views in the Jewish Law. Paul's letters contain a substantial amount of criticism of the Law. This view would not have held well with the Jewish Jesus and his Jewish disciples.

Many people over the centuries have doubted Paul. Many considered themselves Christian (followers of Jesus).

Ebionites (possibly the first Christians) believed him to be a false apostle.

These men (Ebionites), moreover, thought that it was necessary to reject all the epistles of the apostle [Paul], whom they called an apostate from the law
— Eusebius 325 AD
Some significant early church fathers had issues with Paul.

Macarius Magnes (early church theologian) found Paul to be contradictory.

[Paul] says, ‘As many as are under the Law are under a curse’ (Gal 3:10). The man who writes to the Romans, ‘The Law is spiritual’ (7:14), and again, ‘The Law is holy and the commandment holy and just’ (7:12), places under a curse those who obey that which is holy!... In his Epistles … he praises virginity (I-Tim 4:1, I-Cor 7:25), and then turns round and writes, ‘In the latter times some shall depart from the faith,... forbidding to marry’ (I-Tim 4:1-3).... And in the Epistle to the Corinthians he says, ‘But concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord’
— (I-Cor 7:25). ca. 300
Augustine (early church theologian) accused Paul of being a liar.

If it be possible for men to say and believe that, after introducing his narrative with these words, ‘The things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not’, the apostle (Paul) lied when he said of Peter and Barnabas, ‘I saw that they walked not uprightly, according to the truth of the gospel’,... [then] if they did walk uprightly, Paul wrote what was false; and if he wrote what was false here, when did he say what was true?
— 397 AD
Jerome (early church theologian) accused Paul of hypocrisy.

Porphyry ... accuses Paul of presumption because he dared to reprove Peter and rebuke him to his face, and by reasoning convict him of having done wrong; that is to say, of being in the very fault which he himself, who blamed another for transgressing, had committed.... Oh blessed Apostle Paul— who had rebuked Peter for hypocrisy, because he withdrew himself from the Gentiles through fear of the Jews who came from James—why are you, notwithstanding your own doctrine, compelled to circumcise Timothy (Acts 16:3), the son of a Gentile, nay more, a Gentile himself?
— 404 AD
Jerome's continued criticism of Paul.

Paul does not know how to develop a hyperbaton [i.e., a change of normal word order for emphasis], nor to conclude a sentence; and having to do with rude people, he has employed the conceptions, which, if, at the outset, he had not taken care to announce as spoken after the manner of men, would have shocked men of good sense.
— 411 AD
You have only repeated here all you have once said.

I have some questions for you, which I expect you to honestly answer:

Was Paul persecuting the church before?

What made him to change and become persecuted?

"And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars." Revelation 2:2
Who appointed you a judge over Paul? Your judgement amounts to nothing in the sight of God. Who told you Rev 2:2 was referring to Paul? ''THOSE who say THEY are apostles'' does not connote a single man. Your conclusion that it is referring to Paul is erroneous. Many apostles were raised after Jesus had left and some of them the Spirit found to be false.

Paul played his part in this world and left indelible marks. Great signs and wonders characterized his ministry with the backing of his caller, God. With all the accusations against him and hatred for him by the people who know not the true God, the truth remains that he had evidences to show that the hand of God was upon him. He did what no man can do without the approval of God. Since God approved of him, who are you to condemn him.

What have you achieved for God? Paul was a human like you, what impact have you made in the world? How many people will talk about you after you are gone?

Nobody with the Spirit of God can talk ill of Paul and that shows the type of spirit that dwells in you.
It is a satanic device to discredit the writings of Paul. Those used by satan to criticize him only know the letters and not the spirit of his writings. They by so doing think they can pull down Christianity. Not possible. It is an excercise in futility.

truthman2012: Spirit-beings, angels and demons are higher than man in power and knowledge. If they enter into anybody, educated or illiterate, the person will begin to foretell or say some hidden things by their influence. But because they are not omniscience, they too are limited in power and knowledge. This accounts for the reason the Quran has some accurate scientific contents but because the author, Allah is not the Omniscience God, it also contains many scientific and historical errors.

Muhammad, the prophet of Islam was able to receive the contents of the Quran from a spirit who introduced himself as Gabriel. Each time Muhammad wanted to receive quranic revelations, he would fall down unconscious, meaning he was possessed of Gabriel and so he was able to receive some things mysterious. Like I said earlier, because that spirit was limited in power and knowledge, his words contain a lot of errors.

2. Was judges 1:19 an error of the holy spirit?

Let's get plain and direct answers to this so we can move forward stop all this twisting and running
We'll get back to all ur questions later
I asked you several questions on your god, Ogun, which you cannot answer saying I should answer yours first. To escape answering, you kept asking questions I have answered many times over.

Coming to your questions again, I have these ones for you:

1. What other war did Yahweh fight on the plain that He lost, apart from the one you are talking about, which was not a lost battle but deferred for the reasons He gave?

2. Point to a reference proving that the deferred battle was not won eventually as planned as there was no mention of the plain still existing at the end of the event?

3. What do you mean by Holy Ghost? Was every speaker in the OT having the Holy Ghost? Tell me where the Holy Ghost spoke in the OT. What we have in the OT is ''Thus said the Lord'' and ''the Lord said''. Did the speaker say it was the Lord (Yahweh) that made the statement you are referring to in the Book of Judges? The Holy Ghost became general to all believers following Jesus promise after He left. Enemies of the Bible always refer to Holy Ghost in attacking it. Lies from the pit of hell.

When answering, include the ones I asked about your god, Ogun that is unknown by the whole world, whose operations and impact are not felt globally. But I'm sure you have no answers for which reason you are trying to avoid them.

macof: Pls show us this truth.
You can start by answering my questions TRUTHFULLY
Rather than jst call me a liar and run away
Yes, anything that is not the truth is a lie. I have answered your questions but you refused to accept.

You said I should tell you the battle Yahweh won on the plain. My answer is: He wins every battle. I explained to you Judah's thought that they could not drive out the inhabitants of the plain because they had chariots of iron was not the case. It was a mistaken opinion. God had earlier said He would not overthrow the people at a time but gradually. Now tell me if they were not eventually driven out. Again tell me, which other battle they lost on the plain.

I tell you, the only people left were those who they (Israelites) intentionally spared for which Yahweh was displeased.

Yahweh is capable of doing anything He wants done. He is the Almighty. When He visited Sodom and Ghomarah with His anger, only those He spared were left alive. When He visited the generation in Noah's time, only those He spared were left. He sent His angel to visit a city, he killed over a hundred thousand people in a night. What can He not do? The same Yahweh parted the Red Sea for the Israelites to cross.

Which of those weapons could He not use to wipe out the inhabitants of the plain? Was it the brimestone of fire He used to deal with the Sodomites He could not use? Was it the deluge of water He used to wipe out people of Noah's generation He could not use? Could He not send angel or angels to deal with the people of the said plain?

Ask Pharaoh and the Egyptians, they will tell you their experience with Yahweh on the plain.

My friend, tell me what feat Ogun achieved in our world. What is his impact on humanity. Testimonies abound of Yahweh's healing live. I am one the beneficiaries. There is no other God but Yahweh.

Yahweh didn't create everything, neither did he create the canaanites that he so hated and discriminated against

Wait! Lemme show everybody as the Bible puts it in clear words

Judges 1:19 - And Yahweh was with Judah and he drove out the inhabitants of the mountain but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley because they had chariots of iron.

Keys words : COULD NOT, BECAUSE
Judah could not, meaning they didn't have the power, why didn't they have the power?.because the Canaanite tribes of the valley had chariots of Iron

This is common sense here
Even in modern times you mr truthman dare not attack an army with superior technology, if you like pray and even sacrifice to ur Yahweh, it wouldn't change your story

Why was it only iron he could create of all creations?

As your god, Ogun could create only iron, who created you? Who created the Sun, Stars, Moon, Animals etc?

May God deliver you from the power of satan.

macof: Pls address all of my posts.
1. Show us where Yahweh drove out inhabitants of the plains
2. is Judges 1:19 an error from the holy spirit??

So we can move forward, it's all on you now to defend the Christian claims

Smh.
you are only ignorant, it's more than clear as you don't know difference between Ogun and Sango yet you come.talking about who Sango is as if you know anything about that Name and what it represents

@bold. You are a hypocrite. Your Lord and master Jesus was born a man like every other man and you compare him to God...no! No! You call him God
And you here having a problem with calling a man a God(which I never did) when you do exactly that

So your father Satan/Devil doesn't exist
Talking about Sango there was a mix-up. All the same, they were both highly possessed men created by Yahweh you are comparing them with. I mean they were created good by Yahweh before satan took over their lives.

It is untrue that Yahweh who created everything including the plains and valleys had problem dealing with them. Since He created them He could not have problems destroying them. I think that tallies with common sense. I have told you the reason Judah could not drive the people out because God had the plan to gradually drive them out, which He already had told Moses. I have also told you that the people of the plain spared by the Israelites was their own disobedience for which God was displeased and not attributable to His weakness.

It is true that anyone who rejects the Almighty God will worship a lesser being. What did Ogun create? Ogun was known for only destructions in Yorubaland and probably by those who imported him to other countries through slave trade.

Ogun was not in existence when all the biblical events took place and so, Yahweh could not have been in war with him. Satan had not manifested through him. Your post is a pure error.

What interests me in your post is what I have responded to. I have been able to debunk the falsehood and errors, which you are inspired by satan to poison people's heart against their creator. You have been deceived to deceive. May God in His mercy restore you.

macof: I know more about the Bible than you think, once devoted my life to that

here's another verse proving Yahweh is only strong on hills and mountain

Joshua 13:6 all inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth-maim and all Sidonia will I drive out..“
Show us where in the old testament did Yahweh drive out any of the inhabitants of the plains

Here's Judges 1:32-33
Asher dwelt among the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land for they didn't drive them out. Neither did Naphtali drive out the Canaanites of Beth-shemesh and Beth-anath, rather they left them as tributary states

Here we can see Each verse talks about a battle between one tribe of Israel and a tribe from the canaanites, each failure to drive the canaanites out was given a reason.
Verse 19 gave it's reason in clear words BECAUSE THEY HAD CHARIOTS OF IRON
Indicating how more advanced they were in technology by the grace of Ogun

I don't know wat u mean by the bold but are you trying to say Judges 1;19 isn't given by the inspiration of the holy spirit or the holy spirit erroneously reported

thathuh
God covenanted with the children of Israel to deliver the land of Canan to them but not without wars.

Judges 1:32-33 you quoted clearly make us to know that the Israelites failed to drive away the inhabitant of Accho, Zidon and many others. They only refused to completely obey God's instruction and not because they were incapable of driving them out. God was displeased with their disobedience as can be seen:

''And an angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochum and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers and I said I will never break my covenant with you. And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of the land, ye shall throw down their altars BUT YE HAVE NOT OBEYED MY VOICE: why have ye done this?'' (Judges 2:1-2).

As you can see from the above, it was the Israelites who disobeyed God by not driving away those people AND NOT THAT YAHWEY WAS INCAPABLE OF DRIVING THEM. There was the Israelites' responsibilities and their was God's.

God therefore made the people they spared to become a snare to them as punishment for their sin (Judges 2:3).

Sango, the so-called god of Iron was a human being who got possessed of the devil. His mother came from Tapa land and married a man from Oyo town. He was born like any other human beings. How can you compare him to God? You too can attain his spiritual height if you can dedicate yourself to satan as much as he did and become a god to the deceived.

macof: Yahweh, the god of Israel who in Semitic spirituality is the spirit of mountains and hills(if you doubt, challenge me to this)

Ogun, the spirit of all metallic elements particularly Iron. In yorubaland, Ire-Ekiti, Saki Oyo and Idanre are his patron cities.

Here we would see how the Bible records a battle between these two spirits

Judges 1:19 - And the Lord was with Judah, and he drove out the inhabitants of the mountain but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley because they had chariots of Iron

There's two things in this verse
1. Yahweh's strength lays in the mountain
2. Judah with the grace of Yahweh couldn't defeat an army with the grace of iron(Ogun)
You know nothing about the bible. It is not enough to pick a verse from the bible in isolation. You need a complete study of the chapter and even the preceding chapter. There may also be the need to study other Books for clear understanding.

''I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the multiply agains thee. BY LITTLE and LITTLE I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased and inherit the land'' (Exodus 23:29-30).

God had earlier told Moses He was not going to drive the people away before them AT ONCE for the reasons He gave them. The reporter in the Book of Judges erroneously thought they could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley because they had chariot of Iron.

The whole people were completely driven out according to God's plan.
