People deserve a second chance and some come good. I have out of my own will trusted and had dealings with ex-convicts and my faith has been rewarded. Sure some of them dont come through but that shouldnt stop you, you only need to take sensible precautions just in case.

The poster is obviously in love and thinks she can find happiness with this dude. I'd advice her to take a chance at love and happiness. Even if it lasts a few years, its well worth it. Five years of love and happiness is better than a lifetime of loveless existence. BUT she should still be careful and take precautions like keeping access to your finances away from him, even if you are to give him money, it should be reasonable and based on a solid need. Sure he might feel offended by this but if he truly loves you like he claims then he'll understand your hesitation and work better towards showing you he is a better person
