And how will giving his wife silent treatment affect the kids when the both of them will be talking to themhuh
He/she is right , it will affect the kids. On a norm the family is always playing and gisting n talking together, then because u want to give her silent treatment, when she's involved with the kids, u have to withdraw.
The right and best thing is to communicate about it and make up. You will be depriving yourself and exposing yourself with silent treatment.

Afraid of them not giving him contract or what? Afraid of them wiping away his achievements or what? History is written already. ...the growth of the economy and achievements during his 8 years as civilian president wont be forgotten, it has not been matched, even if Atiku and BAT become joint president, OBJs effort will still be up there....the man isnt perfect, terrible in some ways, but he has no reason to be afraid. OBJ doesnt care.
In 2015 Buhari vs GEJ he endorsed Buhari, for obvious reasons, failure of GEJ, u people said he was a good man and elderstatesman
In 2019 he saw failure of Buhari and how things have south, Buhari vs Atiku, the man endorsed Atiku(and he carefully selected his words, he said considering the options available, Atiku is the better one), u people didnt say he was afraid of Atiku, Buhari people said he was jealous of Buhari
Now confronted with Atiku vs BAT vs Obi, he endorsed Obi, suddenly the Atiku he wasnt afraid of in 2019, he is now afraid of him

I get it. But it's about picking one suffering. Places where you have to learn a language might offer more opportunities than others.
When people relocate abroad particularly through school, for most people the most important thing at first is to be able to financially sustain remaining in school. The chances of getting a job, enough to sustain you when u dont know the language yet is low. I studied in Germany and I have a fair idea of what it entails. If you combine so many things, u will not perform exceptionally in any one. it's enough that u cant speak official langugae of a place like native speakers, u dont want to add having just an average grade in academics to that. Not many people have home funds/support, enough to pull them through school.....if you are going to stay on the right side of the law(which is advisable), then its wise to go to a place where u can easily slot into the system and not be excluded from some jobs based on language while u are still studying. I agree with you on the bolded, but u know people's realities are different. For some people too having that large naija community around is good for their mental health. FOr younger people, you are very correct, they should look at other places as opportunities are there too and even more than UK, and try as much as people to learn the language before they leave Nigeria

Shame on the person moderating this space and by extension the owner of this forum. I don't believe you are not smart, I don't believe you don't know what you are doing You put boldly on your platform a topic that will ignite racist and tribalistic comments because u want traffic, yet u say people shouldn't make racist and tribalistic comments on this section.
Some of the young people with big platform are worse than the older generation that plunged this country into so much division
I won't say do better because, u clearly know what you are doing. Enjoy ur traffic.

YOu are operating/moderating a media space, the least u can do for the society is to not encourage comments that are divisive...In your own case, u even went to source for topics that are divisive to put on ur front page......if dem look deep now, u fit dey claim good christian or good muslim...una good christian/muslim practice na to just go church/mosque and claim holiness and possibly judge others

There's a lot of reaction from people on social media with some claiming the lady is older than the boy.

What do you think? Are they compatible?
You want us to test compatibility by online photo. If the lady is older, how is that a problem. If he is not below the required age of marriage under the law, who are we to complain. What's it about older women that people have problems with. Dare Art Alade is about 10years younger than his wife, their marriage is approaching 20years now, if not more sef. It's not who is older that will determine compatibility

This is why lots of Nigerian immigrants go through hell to be in over-saturated places like the UK and the US. The world is huge, you cant limit yourself to anglophone countries because you don't want to learn a new language.

And if you actually want to live a rich life, learning a new language is one of them. Language is the vehicle in which cultures relate to the outside world, you miss out big time if you speak just one, or even a few.
The reality of a lot of people is different from what u imagine. People have families to cater for, Careers to nurture, school work to attend to, these are people in their 30s and 40s already. Where is the time n space to learn language. Lots of people even need to work to pay their tuition while they still fend for their kids. There's so much to learning a new language. It's better done with fewer worries and fewer engagement. It needs time n effort n sacrifice. The people that choose English speaking countries understand their realities and they made the right choice. Maybe younger ones that have a lot of time but definitely people approaching mid 30s and so on don't have that luxury

Boehly's ego won't let this happen. The whole world told him he was stupid for sacking Tuchel and much more stupid for replacing him with this Mediocre manager. He doesn't want them to score a point on him, so he will stick with the useless coach and keep buying players hoping to salvage the situation.

I dont get why people somehow think elder statesmen should not have a chloice or endorse or campaign for any aspirant. As an elder statesman, you only endorse all of them and play neutral if they are all good for the country.
Kwankwaso himself will become like OBJ and clark some day, if a criminal comes to him for endorsement or he sees a better choice, he should say because he is an elder statesman he is endorsing the 2 of them.
If he was the one, the elders endorsed, would he still call them disgraceful

How can you say a 7 year old boy is already damaged. I don't believe that. He's still young and can be straightened. I know the things I did as a little kid
Maybe damaged is too strong to use for a 7 year old, but i agree whatever the case He is not beyond redemption. You are right, we did things as kids. All I am saying is that the boy should be helped first before bringing him to a space where he can influence other kids negatively and that may be the thinking of the your wife. A lot of people will want to help that boy, but away from where our child can be influenced.

yet pandora rally was a huge flop, remove emotion, was case scenario people will stay their home .Igbos will waste their votes, Atiku will win
Why do you people talk about anyone wasting their vote. U vote candidate A, I vote candidate B, we are still facing same challenges as Nigerians. Except for the less than 1 percent that will work with the president and benefit from that, and most people don't belong to that group Buhari 8 years didn't reduce poverty in the north, infact people of Katsina are probably poorer. Those igbos that u say will waste their votes will still enjoy the Same good/bad governance if your candidate wins. Ask Ogun state people if obj being president for 8 years made them richer, go and ask otuoke people too.
Politics › Re: Can Tinubu And Atiku Get 25% Of The Votes In Rivers State? by tunapawizzy: 3:24pm On Jan 05, 2023
It's up to Wike to decide. He said he appointed 300 thousand special advisers, at least those 300k special advisers will be mobilized to mobilize at least 1 voter(let's just call it mobilize but u know what it is)
Whoever Wike supports will get 25%. Wike doesn't need to support Obi before obi will get 25% in rivers. He said it in public when he was appointing them that he has build flyover and other given them other development, that now is time for stomach infrastructure(and u and I know what stomach infrastructure is used for)

I get and see your effort from a good point. But then, You want to bring a damaged boy into your home but your wife dey dodge am and your wife is very correct on this. You cannot blame her. Maybe you guys have a daughter. If not, what if you have a girl child in future. This is the concern of your wife, which is very valid. Even if what you have is a son, your nephew can still influence him(do things to him or teach him how to do things to others).
Discuss other ways to help your nephew with your wife, without putting ur child(born/unborn) in harm's way. Also if the boy comes to live with you and does the same thing to your neighbour's daughter, that will be a disgrace for your family. Your wife is wise, you should learn from her, help the boy without exposing your family
