Lexusgs430: You should be entitled to some basic maternity leave payment........ UK no wicked like that .......🙂 It's not everyone who gets the Statutory maternity pay either. I think you need to work for about 14-16 weeks before you can qualify. I remember I didn't get any as well because I only worked for 13weeks before I went on leave. |

Just as an input, does your monthly payslip carry the date on which your employment started?
Do you have or are you able to generate your payslip for the very first month you worked at the company?
Do you have records of training done or work done in the first month that could serve as an evidence? |

dubaiprince: Thanks a lot. The immigration lawyer I met today said they don't really handle employment matters and this my issue is a mix of both employment and immigration matter. They said what they can do is to get home office to confirm the date the tier 2 visa was issued and I can use that as further evidence before going to ACAS. I am just waiting on the employers response they asked for 72 hours to respond which lapses tomorrow. |

I just read my message again and I noted I criticized the poster, Obagreat..... Instead of focusing on correcting the message. I feel very remorseful about the abuse, I read this thread at a time I'm seriously mourning the victims as I know them in person. One of the injured victims died last night and I came across this thread after the shocking news. Another victim died about 2 hours ago.
Very sad and tragic event, a lot of us haven't recovered from the shock Please let's be kind to ourselves especially with respect to the comments we make about the dead. |

Obagreatdatoye: I just said the true but you are still here jam talking...like what I said is new What you said is not new but it is foolish talk. You lack empathy and no emotional or social intelligence. How can you grab your phone and purge out this nonsense when people are sad and in a mourning state!!! Even Jesus would not preach this way!! The submission is very callous!! Show me in your Bible where it says Muslims will go to hell... |

I applied for a skilled worker visa on Thursday the 1st and got a feedback on Mon the 5th dec. It took only 2 working days and that was a standard visa application not priority. I used the online biometric method not the travel to home office option though |

So a friend applied for student visa for last yr September resumption 2021. After applying for visa for himself and his wife, he withdrew the application because he changes his mind about going to the UK for the time being. He has since applied for his IHS refund and that of his wife. His own was received but his wife's was never received. He has sent them mail upon mail yet no response. He wonders if he has the correct email address or is there any other way to get his fund back please? Can someone please reply this, help answer my question |

pls help. Hi, Carlisle is a quite and cheap under the Cumbria County. It's the border city between England and Scotland. There isn't a lot happening in the city just like normal surburb. It's beginning to get more diverse compared to a few yrs ago. 3bed is in the range 580-800 depending on location. Schools boku but you can research on their Ofsted rating online from anywhere in the world, just check google. There are no African stores, only Asians and a pre order arrangement by one of the residents. |

Ayowolebami: Their school is saying the 30hrs is FREE for nursery as against 15hrs and not asking me for a dime/code but anyone with code will provide to the school and school will claim back their money from council as the subsidy is from the school's pocket.
This subsidy gangan is what I'm trying to clarify cause my understanding is that 2-4yrs in nursery is 15hrs free for everyone so I'm asking if anyone knows anything about the said subsidy. The woman who attended to me said she once worked in Oldham and it's 15hrs for nursery there but most schools in Manchester is 30hrs FREE even for nursery. 2 family friends mentioned same to me when they moved to Manchester. At 3, their kids were allowed full 30hours free. She sent them emails back and forth showing BRP and all, they insisted theirs is 30hrs. I will keep all email correspondence for evidence sake! |

olafim309: Good evening, I brought ticket for Manchester to York with a railcard. Unfortunately the train conductor said there no railcard for Northern part of England. I was charged £55 for single journey. The guy asked me to contract Trainline for refund for railcard cuz it won’t in the north and the card was for senior member which I wasn’t even aware of. Please anyone who has encountered same situation, I will appreciate if you can enlighten on what do how. You probably clicked the Railcard for senior citizens, people above 65years. There are Railcard in the North, I have used it time and again. But it's easy rlto make the wrong selection if one isn't careful |

Samopex05: My tenancy agreement has only my name on it, it doesn’t have my wife’s name. Can I use it to supporting my mother-in-law’s visa application from Nigeria in terms of accommodation. As long as you can show relationship. However, I will advice you get your spouse on the tenancy agreement as well. We had to pay some money to get ours done but the letting agent says would have been free if we had asked before the end of the first year of occupancy |

Chreze: Thanks wallg123 for this. I will try this. Thanks @TheGuyFromHR.
A little twist, so they have been delivering mails to the apartment for the previous occupant. We try to return the mails and it comes back to our house. On Thursday they delivered Hermes clothes and I knew they were gonna come pick it up. Today they came for it and I asked them question about the house and they said no damp or mold issue, but that they installed the heater by the staircase recently because it gets cold when you just walk inside the house.
I will try this options and hope it is solved. I have done some crazy vacuum today. On Wednesday when oga goes to nursery we will vacuum again and wash the carpet. And hopefully it gets cleared. Also sent a message the LL to come around during lunch break tomorrow so I can show him. He said 3pm. Will also show him and see how it goes.
Thanks for the inputs. I really do appreciate. Please, how do you wash carpets (I assume you are still referring to rug)? |

I decided not to waste money this time around on paid mail and phone calls, because they jealously guard information they will only tell you whether decision has been made or not. So I decided to wait it out while following the thread. So when someone who did biometrics on may 12 posted, I knew we shouldn't n't have to wait for too long.
Now my question; is collection still at 3pm (like they did around Jan) or any time is fine to collect at Ikeja office |

Carim19: Bio was May 19, I’ve sent like two paid mails still awaiting decision, the last I sent was 5th of July Can I send another tomorrow or Friday… the wait is tiring. I’m on leave for a month seems I will start work back before I got message from them You are almost there, possibly today, Friday or at worst Monday you should receive collection mail. My sister in law did biometric on 16th May, virgin passport, 6months visitor's visa. We received collection mail yesterday. So yours shouldn't be far off |
