we can also assume that the place is scantily populated and he doesn't have neighbors nearby. For example my sister place at Ibadan is still a developing area, so houses ain't close to each other or surrounded by uncompleted buildings. Even if it was a case of murder, no clue can be found from this again. The man must have lived a secluded life, all this kind of people that dissociate from others and their family. in the USA you always compare, an annual salary of a doctor is about 80,000 to 100,000$ (a year) and tuition costs about 20,000 to 50,0000$ dollar per year. So if you minus this from the parent salary how much do they have? Also know that housing is over 1000$ and they spend in dollars. So at the end education is still very expensive and not all Americans are educated.

if u read what I typed, u would have seen where I mentioned student loan available to students. I didn't even put other benefit that student gain that we don't.

in other to avoid this long ASUU strikes that has consistently been a problem in Nigeria, it is to my opinion that University school fees should be increased upto 500k per semester. If you take a look at private universities and study why they are not usually on strike, you will notice that most of them have one thing I'm common, which is high tuition fees. Some pay as high as 2million per session, and this eliminates the chances of strikes and lecturers reporting of low salaries.

If you take a look at some African countries where Nigerians rush to study in other avoid strikes like Uganda where school fees is as high as 500k. Nigeria has a better academics in Africa but due to frequent strikes we travel out. But once we travel out we pay 10x more what we pay here just to study.

My opinion is that the federal government should increase school fees upto 400k on a minimum and maximum of 1milliom for medical students and law.

Then introduce students loans. This way the strikes will cease to exist.

Education is not free.

it seems u don't want more than half of Nigerian to go to school. With the average income they pay to workers in Nigeria, how do u expect the parents of the student to afford the school fees. There are so many countries that offer free education also, how are those countries doing it. The likes of USA, Canada, UK that their school fees are expensive offer student loan and their salary structure is far better than ours. Even the students have a far better future ahead of them than over here. Imaging paying over 400k for the sub standard teaching we receive here when your parents salary isn't even up to 100k minus feeding, accomodations and other expenses that will come during the semester. The chances of even getting job when u finish school is very low again, so increasing school fees by over 1000% is suicide and killing the chances of many people that really wants to school.

Nigeria is 1.2 million barrels daily.

Population of UAE - 10 Million

Population of Nigeria - 200 million.

Its like a father earning 50k with 20 kids and a father earning 150k with 1 kid.

You can't compare their lifestyle.

Building collapsing and corruption, is our natural disaster in this part of the country. There was an earthquake in china last week that even resulted in landslide, but houses didn't collapse like this there. Just imagine if it was Nigeria the earthquake occurred and the number of houses that would have fallen.

I for one have been through all states in Nigeria apart from North East.

The only state outside of Lagos, I would say is developing perhaps in line with expectation is Akwa Ibom state. Yet they have a lot of work to do especially with attracting human capital which boosts a state's revenue and profile.

People trying to talk bad about Lagos need a different experience to appreciate Lagos.

I'm not talking about those coming from the east who would support anything as long it comes from their domain.

Travel round Nigeria and abroad without the bias of condemning and come back to speak about Lagos.

I have been to all western state except ondo and I have also been to Edo. yes compared to this state Lagos(Victoria island/ lekki) is more developed than this states. What I am trying to point out is you guys over hype Lagos too much like it is one Dubai. I stay at lekki, maruwa exactly and I can tell u that there is nothing special about the area than just the fine houses and tiled road which u can also find in some states too. Now go to isolo, oshodi, mushin, ayobo and many more places in Lagos and compare it to lekki.

the under developed places in Lagos is far more than the developed. Most places in mainland are eye sore, except maybe places like some part of ikeja, some part of surulere and some other places I may have not been too. For every place u mention on the mainland that is fine and can list five more places that are awful.

I did stuff like troubleshooting and since I we deal a lot with computer accessories one should be able to differentiate between a hardware problem from a software.

I swear this stuff once happended to me. I screenshot and sent it to my friend who is a phone engineer and he told me something that made me reason again.
