Hello guys. I have been given interview date of July 30th. I am quite worried about the time between visa interview and collection. Can I make it to a program that commences in the last week of September? Thanks guys..anyone with experience or knowledge of this should kindly help oo..im a bit worried

2 months is enough for ur visa to come out in time..although sometimes d larger cities might take more time. Like munich and berlin. But dats rare. D longest ive seen personally is 9 weeks. ANd dat one was under some special circumstances. Shouldnt have taken dat long. So 8 weeks should ve enough for u. Where are u going?

I dont know if u went today. But if u didnt try and go tomorrow. I was at d embassy yday and i can tell u people are increasing in number daily, as more admissions are coming in. SO d earlier u go d better for u..didnt quite understand what u mean by confirmation. If u mean can u book for an interview without transferring the sum den of course.

When u get to the embassy for ur account opening ...explain to the Secretary..then it was possible for them to book an appointment for u without the confirmation of deposit..

It takes abt 2 or 3 weeks for u to get the account details and 3 days for ur funds to hit the account. So if u can convince the lady to book ur appointment in july (3rd week) then u can go to the interview with or without a confirmation ....After the interview 4 - 6 weeks waiting time (depends on the auslanderbehorde in ur city). If you work with this time frame u will be fine.

Or just work with the time frame and in the event that things dont work out as planned u can ask the sch to extend ur enrolment period .

Sure...or u can ask the sch to send u a pdf version of the admission letter or better still download it from the online portal.It doesnt really matter if its coloured or black n white.

The school I'm using don't by mail only a downloadable copy from applicatant application portal. If I may suggest you can write your school that is if the letter haven't left Germany yet to have someone receive it in Germany and sent to you, this way you have a better and traceable meant to follow up else with our unreliable addressing system in naija you just might not get the parcel.

Can u speak german? Why did u choose germany and nt other EU countries like UK? What did u study undergrad? What were ur specializations undergrad? She asked me why i was switching from mech engr to project mgmt. I tried to link the two. What are ur future plans? Can ur prog be studied in Nigeria? Who is sponsoring u? What is the approx income of ur sponsors? What do know about germany? What do u know aboit stuttgart? Can u tell me about ur prog? How many semesters? How many courses? Can u list some of the course? (When i told her one of ny courses was energy and smart grid systems she said she had never heard of dat and i should explain. For my very presence she google am out for system. Dats why i said dont over impress. Imagine if i couldnt explain) who is the president of germany? Who is d chancellor? Name the states? Name the countries that surround germany? Where do u work currently? What did ur skool require to admit u? (I guessed she was talking about any advantage i had. So i said i submitted proof of work experience and a work porfoli) what state is my school located? Would i like to work in germany? Do i have any family in germany? Have i been to any schengen country? Have i ever been to germany or applied for a german visa? Why did i choose my prog? Do i have an accommodation? Have i applied for one? Do i intend to learn german( i told her about d intensive prog my school runs) do i think i can cope with d rigours of study and german at d same time? What inquiries have u made concerning preparing to study in germany?

I think dis should be all. If i remember any oda one I'll be sure to post it here.
The One week wait don start. May i not receive any mail from embassy in the next one week.

I did my interview today. Got there before d interviewer sef. 5:55 to be precise. Interview lasted about 30mins. Left d embassy at 9:30. GOT to unilag before 10:30. Wrote ny exams. All in all a Great day. By d time i turned on my phone dey had sent me a mail dat they'[ve started processing. And i should send confirmation of payment of 7980 as soon as possible. D woman fire me questions. Me sef fire am answers

The answer to ur question is a capital no. Just go for ur interview and speak d best of queens English u know. I'm speaking from experience. Plz don't ask further questions on this to prevent duplication of effort. Good luck with ur visa
