The next thing would have been to sell it to scrap dealers who will in turn hack it to pieces and sell it to spare part dealers. I once saw them dismantle a brand new Jeep and I knew it was stolen.

Of course he is, his achievements make dangote look like a common hustler. It will take another lifetime to see a man with such ingenuity. Few of his achievements include:

1. Being the defacto president and vice president all at once,

2. His daughter successfully made the first lady rant like an ordinary market woman, e.t.c

As a Nigerian youth, I wish to be in his shoes. He is such an inspiration.

Rotten fish smell everywhere. The reason I don't date girls with big ass is because just as smelling shit attracts a lot of flies, so also big ass attracts a lot of men. Most of these big ass are ladden with diseases.

Giving Charity in Secret
The Prophet Mohammad said that one of the seven groups of people that will be granted shade on the Day of Judgment includes the one who gives charity but hides it, so that even his left hand does not know what his right hand has spent.

Islam places a great emphasis and reward on giving charity in secret. It preserves the dignity of those who receive the charity, and also prevents the giver from being boastful or seeking praise.

Islam teaches Muslims that giving in secret is far superior to giving publicly, and that drawing attention to one’s charitable actions is a highly undesirable quality. The Prophet said: “Allah loves the God-fearing rich man [who gives much in charity but still] remains obscure and uncelebrated.” (Muslim)

Giving charity in secret is best when giving charity that is voluntary (Sadaqah). Regarding voluntary charity, God says in the second chapter of the Quran:

“If you disclose your Sadaqaat (almsgiving), it is well; but if you conceal them and give them to the poor, that is better for you.” [Quran 2:271]

I want to sincerely thank the OP for creating this thread and the mod for bringing it to the front page.

For the past couple of days I've been experiencing itching on my left testicle but as soon as I saw this wonderful piece of information, the itching miraculously stopped.

Politics / Re: Buhari Leaves Deputy Looking Weak Amid Nigeria Succession Talk - Bloomberg by TwoBottles: 5:16pm On Nov 08, 2019
festacman:
Surprising that Bloomberg fell for this mischievous narratives inspired by the opposition. In US, does the Economic Advisory Council advise Pres. Trump or VP Pence? The answer says it all.

It is important to emphasize that the influence, which VP Yemi Osinbajo enjoyed and exerted during first 4 years in office was largely due to Pres. Buhari's ill-health and loyalty. It is this influence that people are mistaking today as convention rather than conscious concession. Let's face it. How influential was VP Jonathan under Pres. Yar'adua or VP Sambo under Pres. Jonathan. Pres. Obasanjo who conceeded too much to VP Atiku regretted it. I am sure while sincere supporters moan on his behalf and mischievous haters display their mockery, VP Osinbajo will remain grateful to Pres. Buhari for that rare 'freehand' opportunity, which endeared him to Nigerians and catapulted his political worth.

The fact remains that in Presidential System of Government, the VP is an appendage of the President. The President is the executive Head of Government and Commander-in-Chief. This is captured in the constitution. I am sure that as someone who taught and practised law, VP Osinbajo knows his place. It is so in United States from where we borrowed the system.

Now, take a look at what some former United States VPs said about the post they once occupied:

“I am not in a leadership position. I am supporting the president. He can exert the leadership and I can support him.” — Nelson Rockefeller, the 41st vice president

The vice presidency is “not worth a bucket of warm piss” and “the worst damn fool mistake I ever made.” — John Nance Garner, the 32nd vice president

“The vice presidency is the most insignificant office that ever the invention of man contrived or his imagination conceived.” — John Adams, the 1st vice president

“Look at all the vice presidents in history. Where are they? They were about as useful as a cow’s fifth teat.” — Harry Truman, the 34th vice president

“I would a great deal rather be anything, say professor of history, than vice president.” — Theodore Roosevelt, the 25th vice president

"You shut the door, you tell the boss exactly what you think. But when the door opens, the job of the vice president is to stand right next to the president and implement the policy that he's decided. And I'm prepared to do that. - Mike Pence currently serving as the 48th vice president of the United States

“I do not propose to be buried until I am really dead.” — New Hampshire Sen. Daniel Webster, on rejecting an offer to be future President William Henry Harrison’s running mate in 1839

We as Africans love to make a mountain out of a mole hill. But, the signing of the said bill should have waited till the president is back in the country. Taking the bill for him to sign in London has sent the wrong message. Trust Nigerians to feast on it.

Celebrities / Re: TBoss Apologizes To Davido For Calling Him Out On IG For Arresting The Two Girls by TwoBottles: 2:57pm On Nov 05, 2019
festacman:
Davido knows how to browbeat people into submission as a big boss. Obviously, Davido's inherent 'Big Boss mentality' is down to some factors such as:
1. Background: Davido is a son of a billionaire businessman, which means he grew up having things at his beck and call including retinue of servants waiting on him. Naturally he acquired superiority complex. It is obvious that he also experienced from childhood the influence money exerts over others. So again, naturally, he also acquired the mentality that money answereth all things, which might be the reason why he makes very light of things others would consider serious because he knows there are few things that money won't sort out. Little wonder that he announced his entry into Nigerian music sreaming authoritatively that he was Omo Baba Olowo.
2. Success: Davido is also a successful musician with flourishing music label who made it big in his twenties. This means he is young and super-rich with personal assistants, artistes, staff and hangers-on taking instructions and directives from him as the ultimate boss. This confers sense of power on him. Obviously, this situation reflects the one he grew to meet in his father's house. The implications is that a sense of 'boss power' got added to the financial superiority complex that he had acquired earlier, which manifests in his characteristic intimidating self-confident mien.
3. Personality: Davido is an alpha male who is brash, super-confident and assertive. This alpha male mould is not helped by his silver-spoon background, acquired financial superiority complex, acquired sense of power, his youthful age, personal wealth, massive career success, worldwide fame and strong moral support from his father, his godfathers and friends. Davido's alpha male characteristic drives him into "gangster panic mood' when his influence, image or talent is questioned. He is usually like, "Who the hell is this one. How much is he worth in gold coins?".

Illustratively, seeing the hitherto sad-looking, handcuffed and humiliated 'audio pregnancy' sisters swimming happily in a pool "la vida loca" says a lot about the power of money, which Davido knows how use. Moreover, his rude reference to his wealth status in his reply to Kayode Ogundamisi critical tweet said it all.

The bottomline is that Davido's wealth-conscious attitude and Big Boss mentality is a 'heavy burden' put on him by his privileged background, strengthened by early success and coloured by his alpha male personality. Interestingly, it is a burden which many people today would be very willing and more than happy to carry.

You write well.

Hey, men react by seeing and women react from touching.. It's natural. But that doesn't mean I can't handle it. I can stay in the same room with a nude girl and nothing will happen. Trust me.
